Princess Elia, Princess Rhaenys, and baby Prince Aegon.

There's no way I would draw character's from pre-Robert's Rebellion and not draw these three. (And kitty Ballerion of course). Initially Elia's dress was really challenging, I wasn't sure how much Targaryen fashion would influence her wardrobe. Since this is the Mad King we're talking about, I ended up mostly skewing Targaryen with the dorne sari/sash, neckline, jewelry and orange-reds instead of purple-reds.

Rhaenys is dressed in fairly classic Targaryen fashions but with mostly gold accents and some Dornish jewelry. (She's also accompanied by Ballerion the Cat). And baby Aegon is chillin in some Targaryen red-purple.

I am forever curious as to why people think House Martell had any reason to hate the last Targaryens - Daenerys and Viserys for the actions of Rhaegar and Aerys? Why would Daenerys and Viserys be responsible for the actions of their horrible dead relatives ?

Was House Martell supposed to ally themselves with the major houses who had a part in covering up the murder of Elia and her children? Why wouldn’t they support restoring House Targaryen and ruling alongside them as Viserys & Arianne or Daenerys & Quentyn?

Also it’s been years and people still parrot that House Martell had no anger towards Aerys & Rhaegar and didn’t blame him for mistreating Elia!!!

What anger does House Martell need to express towards two dead men that have been dead for over a decade 💀 the universe took care of them! Lmao.

Rhaegar had Dornish troops with him on the Trident, under the command of Prince Lewyn of the Kingsguard. So no House Martell was not happy with how Rhaegar treated Elia. However Elia and her children were hostages under Aerys - House Martell had zero interest in fighting for Rhaegar. They fought for Elia!
