I brought Nellie to Pokez yesterday! No matter how much time passes this place feels like coming home. I worked at this restaurant in my early 20's. And I will always have loving memories of my friends who helped shaped me into the women I would become. And all of the life lessons that would help me grow. After dinner we walked down to the House of Blues to watch one of my Amazing employees give a great performance. I also want to give the young ladies who works for me fond memories of their first job. Owning a princess party business it's important to me to be a great boss. And I hope that I can help support my cast as they make their dreams a reality. I love this costume!! Unfortunately the very first time one of the girls in company wore it she stained it with face paint. So frustrating buying expensive ballgowns and watching them get ruined. My mom added a layer of tulle to the skirt. And added decorative fabric and a ruffle to the collar. Thanks mom!! Looks even prettier than the day I got the dress. I never had the pleasure of performing as Snow White. I always let the other girls do it. I can't possibly sing that high. Same Cinderella dress revamped by my amazing Mom. Every winter my gigs slow down a little bit with the holidays. We take this opportunity at to catch up on costuming. My mom gave most of my ball gowns is a huge make over the last couple of weeks. She replace the top layer of tool on them to get off all the spilled face paint.
