Ok so I’ve been specifically rewatching lightspeed rescue and the concept of this season slaps so much. The whole idea that the rangers are all trained to handle specific rescues and their zords are also geared towards their specialties so well is so fun.

I feel like some people don’t like the “realism” of the rangers being more like “science based?” but imo it makes them that much cooler cause it almost feels like they’re the underdogs.

Them having to actively invent and create even the littlest improvements like their V-lancers and their blasters which are so multifunctional is so fun.

Joel changed his last name to match Angelas rather than the other way around when they got married

Chad is the punchlines to many jokes from younger rangers who call him the “ultimate chad”

Dana has had to pick up all of her team mates from jail before

i guess i love queen bansheera because she’s so refreshingly one note. she’s utterly deplorable. has absolutely no redeeming features. discards her son the second he’s useless to her. treats all her minions like shit, yet even when they decide to overthrow her, she expects them to save her.

I think I realized why I like the Titainum Ranger so much. So when we first find out about him he was raised by demons which obviously don't treat him well and he eventually fights them and leaves.

It reminds me now of an abusive relationship with your parents. I grew up abused and purposely held back. But I think the story of the Titanium Ranger stuck with me more on my subconscious level and helped me not become a complete doormat for the abuse. I think without watching Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue at 8, I would have been a more fucked up person because of the abuse I took. I think I would have been molded into the "stay at home" unable to take care of themselves because I have to take care of my parents kinda person my mom wanted me to be.
