Hi, you don't need to respond, I just want to say your art is AMAZING!!! Oh my god you're so skilled, the stuff that you draw lives rent free in my brain. Your shuake stuff and your general akechi stuff is just incredible. Thank you so much for sharing it with the world <3
thank you !! as long as someone enjoys it—i'll keep spreading my weird shuake propaganda ...

✨️✨️✨️ i guess i wish i had a cat ✨️✨️✨️
in today's lesson on artistic intent and the difficulties of an ADHD-adjacent brain having to keep up with smart technology, we will discuss why it's important to turn off night shift mode on your ipad while drawing :D turns out it's been like that for months now so that's fun, certainly explains why my stuff looks so different on pc from what my ipad was showing to me. the curse of digital art, amirite :"D
with this one i ended up putting a low opacity layer over the whole drawing to kinda simulate what i saw while i was drawing, but i also like the actual outcome even though it's a bit colder overall, the blues are a lot better in that one which isn't surprising :3 if you want please tell me which one you prefer, i honestly can't decide now that i let myself sit with both of them :D

Paleovember 2023, Balaenognathus!
Another recently described genus of 2023, Balaenognathus is a small pterosaur with a roughly 3 foot wingspan coming to us from Late Jurassic Germany. As you can probably see, this pterosaur was adapted for filter feeding, with a mouth so full of long teeth that it wouldn't have been able to fully close it's mouth in life!
