Still reading Blue Period online. Up to chapter 43 and so far a lot of what the characters experience while in art university has made me glad I never attempted to go to art school. Or rather, this could very well be any type of school regardless of profession, but it seems really harsh. That or I might just be sensitive to judgement. However, the translation may not seem as harsh as the original text, but I get the feeling the words and how they were used are much more cruel than the English translation.

Other professions seem harsh. At least that's what is portrayed in a lot of media as well as what people may say based on their experience. Cooking, technology, art, social sciences; it makes me wonder why individuals in these worlds behave so strongly. I don't think it's to bring out the best in someone. If anything it feels like it is purely with vile intent.

To find out their profession,

Some call it an art,

They come from the dark,

They are true artists by heart,

And sometimes they weigh the cons more than the pros,

They make the best shadows,

Rewriting history,

Rewiring realities,

They even take their art to photoshop,

Right before they falseify court records and official documents,

They travel in pairs, and move shadow to shadow,

This is just a highly misunderstood art,

Figure this part out,

And you'll know their true profession.

Most don't, until they're already gone.

They miss the chance for goodbye,

Never realizing that they might be missed by those they leave behind,

The family and friends they never knew could exist,

With the ones they left behind.

And they go before they even find out,

That they left a true loyal friend,

Not all of them are they, maybe one or two.

The others cant make a connection even if they had dial up modems.
