So I do LOVE the Siffrin ISaT and Rui Proseka comparisons, I really really do. But on some level I also see aspects of Tsukasa in Siffrin.

Both are the "caretaker" of the group that always puts the comfort of others above their own.

Memory issues. Slightly different flavors of memory issues, but still.

Putting on a show for others in simple interactions. Tsukasa is louder about it, but Siffrin does think of it like that in a lot of internal dialogue.

Loop aiding Siffrin, being another version of Sif. Tsukasa being the sole creator of his Sekai, which he seeks advice from.

The Doll Ceremony event thing? Where Tsukasa and Saki's view of their old memories doesn't match up correctly, causing them to say and do things that hurt the other? There's a big parallel to the fucked up versions of the friend quests with that.

Sif totally fine with the eye patch/eye injury while Bonnie feels guilty over it? And then Tsukasa taking the incident from Wonder Halloween in stride while Rui beats himself up over it?

I said the memory thing already, but Tsukasa literally forgot a ton about his childhood?? And even if Siffrin forgot because the fucking island disappearing that still lines up pretty well???

Neither are the "start" of the group but they kinda lead anyway. Emu was in charge of the Wonder Stage before Tsukasa even knew about it, and Sif was the fourth addition to the party.

Um, the general arc of Tsukasa losing it after the show fails in the main story, and Emu and Nene coming to make amends on their own too. Rui doesn't do so, instead taking time and requiring the others to make the first move. Compare this to the party looking for Sif in the House. Compare Rui's reluctance to Odile being the only one to attempt fighting back against Giant Sif.

"If I just smile and tell a joke, they'll think I'm fine!" vs. "If I just smile and speak loud and enthusiastic, they'll think I'm fine!"

I mean, both are huge theater fans in general. Tsukasa is literally on the stage, and Sif is metaphorically, but it's still there.

Wrapping it up here, but my conclusion is that these two share a lot of similar traits. I find a lot of the pieces are the same, but they're placed a little differently in each character. While Rui definitely gives more outright Siffrin vibes... consider Tsukasa too. He's ripe for the comparisons.

See the issue with Proseka fandom is that we actually do have a "Tries so hard to appear confident and secure and bubbly but it's actually a facade and they are actually deeply insecure and hate themselves" character. It's just it's not Tsukasa like people think but instead An Shiraishi.

i have some thoughts on this

firstly, this is something super normalised in the acting industry. it doesnt surprise me that rui isnt all that concerned by it. however, what tsukasa is doing is really dangerous

when things like this are attempted by big actors, theyre accompanied by a professional like a psychologist or personal trainer to keep a close eye on them, because its very unsafe and can lead to medical and psychological complications. tsukasa doesnt have anyone spotting him. but this isnt new about him, hes consistently put the outcome of a show before his own wellbeing, even doing it all the way back in the becoming potatoes event

secondly, although this is the popular assumption of method acting, its not supposed to be done this way. the idea is to use your own emotions and emotional responses to fuel your performance, putting yourself in a headspace where the emotions are somewhat real, acting how you actually act when you feel that emotion rather than what people "expect" from that emotion. like if you dont cry when youre sad, thats fine! theres other ways to sell sadness. thats part of method acting

in this sense what tsukasa's doing in his card, focusing on his feeling of helplessness in that moment and using it to fuel his performance is actually the better, safer way to do it! good job tsukasa!

BUT that doesnt stop me from also finding it concerning, even though its the correct practise, because of how it interplays with his preexisting mental health issues
