I've seen a few things abt the Kite in the finale and I liked him as a villain. He was neat and I liked that he was excusing the other shitty knights behaviors. However, the scariest part was all of the other knights leaving? All the shitty knights vanishing? Not knowing about that is a LOT scarier than the Kite. What if they show up at the Citadel? The Keep? What if they're in the woods? We don't know!

Also as another thought I miss Marc and Tal and the bouquet, but I kinda get? Why they weren't as featured? Last season, a lot of conflict was centered around the bouquet, and the Janus Beast arc from s1 was Marc and Tal. It makes sense that this season focuses on Angelo and Caroline. However, im hoping this means that next season, we get more perspective on Marc and Tal? Maybe the bouquet too since they're all close by?

Also also: thinking back to Janus Beast.....the people who weren't knights are now knights while the people who were knights arent. Its a full flip at this point.

Look my only takeaway from this Penumbra episode is that Quan! Yii! Is! Always! Right!

Ok so like. The idea spawned from me thinking about the fact that Rilla has a recorder and that Sir Marc seems to have engineering skills (although that could just be him being cool! Marc is cool and I love him) but like. I don't feel like SC is non advanced. I feel like the citadels were placed in a period where technology isn't as big of a focus. I love the idea that there's remnants of tech throughout the Citadel. Maybe Quan Yii has an iPhone and everyone knows what it is, and isn't concerned

(2/2) Another thing is that I LOVE the idea that the Keep, Fort Terminus, and the tower that Queen Mira lives in are all somewhat technologically advanced! Shifting passages in the Queen's tower! The Keep being an experiment to engineer plants for benefit (or sentience) that got abandoned, and so in comes a bit of magic and baby Arum. I think that its still key that magic be a part of this because we've seen too much magic but idk I'm here for old technology existing, but not being typically used

Oh I love the idea of magic and tech mixing, it’s really good, we have seen it a little in Marc and Arums inventions when they were fighting with the keep.

I do think the Citadel has a invented a certain amount of things we would know (I really doubt no one has thought of a wheelchair, or something similar, at any point). There is a line where Caroline mentions something about water pipes (Devil in the Sunlight, I believe), and I wanna see so much more of the Citadel itself!! We tend to focus on monster portions, like the Termius, the Keep, etc. But I really would like to see the Citadel up close, especially closer to the tower and stuff, where the city’s walls are.

As for solar punk Citadel. 👌
