The main characters of my fairy AU, which is the adaptation of the Hidden AU and its collaboration story, Journey to Harmony are made by me and @georgi-girl. Each of the seven fairy tribes and subtribes has wings and antennae based on different insects or the wings are based on their elements (the country tribe as earth fairies have leaf or flower petal or fruit slice-shaped wings, the techno tribe as water fairies have fin-like wings, etc.) and the pop trolls as fairies are more of butterfly fairies while Cooper is a moth fairy, just like his parents and his tribe and Queen Rose and her tribe, the platinum trolls are dragonfly fairies. Their outfits are based on the fashion from the Middle Ages, though the fairies' clothes are made out of natural materials, such as leaves and flower petals.

The new Platinum leader and the fairy queen of the fairy kingdom, Queen Rosetta a.k.a Rose has dragonfly wings and antennae just like the members of her court, which is known for the use of light magic. She wears roses and rose petals in her outfits because the flowers match her personality and the rose symbolizes royalty, romance, love, beauty, and courage.

Queen Poppy, the older twin of King Peppy's twin daughters and one of Queen Celestia's wards has the antennae that she, Queen Celestia, and the members of the Snack Pack share because they came from the same court. During the group's search for the Pop court, Poppy acts as a trusted best friend for Queen Rose to rely on in lending a helping hand or wing because they have been inseparable at most times, especially during lessons. She shares with her boyfriend, Branch. Her wings are based on the king swallowtail and her outfits have camellias and their petals as skirts because the flower symbolizes beauty, grace, elegance, love, longevity, happiness, and good fortune,

Branch, on the other hand, is still the cautious and protective but talented butterfly. His skills in survival and protectiveness towards his friends allowed him to join the knights and earn his title as a sir. He and his brothers have the same monarch butterfly wings and his outfits were made of Mexican sage petals and leaves. The sage plant symbolizes bravery, esteem, domestic virtue, longevity, thoughtfulness, good health, and wisdom.

DJ Suki is a music-savvy fairy herself since fairies are known to be musically inclined and she was trained to be a troubadour ever since Queen Celestia took in the Snack Pack after they were separated from the pop fairies during their escape from the giants (the bergens). Sporting red lacewing butterfly wings and wearing clothes with lotus petals, I kinda match her with lotus flowers because they symbolize transcendence, purity, rebirth, and strength.

Cooper is the only moth fairy in the group and is known to work in the castle bakery with Legsly. He was aware that he had a different antennae shape and that his wings were based on a rosy maple moth but what he didn't know was that he was born a fairy prince. His outfits are made of morning glories, which match him perfectly because the flowers symbolize eternal love, rebirth, resilience, life, and unyielding love.

Smidge is a skilled flyer and fighter in her group and she is one of the transgender members. She is the strongest because she trained with the knights alongside Branch but, she tends to be more of a berserker. Her wings are based on an orange sulphur butterfly and her outfits are made out of red dahlias, which symbolize strength, power, perseverance, and prosperity.

Biggie is a big butterfly with a heart of gold. As an animal tamer and the caretaker of the Snack Pack, he takes care of them and keeps them safe with his bow and arrows but he owns a pet fox, whom he names Mr. Dinkles. He has blue morpho butterfly wings and his outfit is made out of pansy flower petals and leaves because it matches his gentle personality and the pansy symbolizes love, loyalty, honesty, devotion, sympathy, and care.

Guy Diamond is a transgender male but he is considered the most beautiful fairy. Sporting glitter on his pink-tipped satyr butterfly wings, he can emit fairy dust from his wake when flying. Queen Rose uses it for potions while Fuzzbert uses the dust for healing. As a new dad to the newborn baby Tiny Diamond, he tries his best to be a good example to his son. His outfits are made out of amaryllis lily petals, which match him because the flower symbolizes pride, strength, determination, beauty, and love.

Satin and Chenille, the fashion twins still love fashion designing and making clothes but their outfits are known among the younger generation of the nobility, the elite, and the wealthy class. They have matching purple emperor wings, cherry blossom outfits, and ponytails that face each other like a mirror, but the sleeves, personalities, and colors set them apart. Cherry blossoms match them because of their traits and the flower symbolizes beauty, passion, love, courage, rebirth, renewal, new beginnings, and the start of spring.

Fuzzbert, though mute, is a skilled healer among his teammates, which comes in handy because of the difficulty of their quest. Using his knowledge of potions and spells to cure his fellow fairies and help anyone in need. His wings are based on a species of a swallowtail butterfly and his outfits are made of sweet pea leaves, which symbolize blissful pleasure, good wishes, kindness, gratitude, and friendship.

Legsly works at the castle bakery with Cooper but she is mainly the most outgoing among the teammates. As a baker, she has a "happy-go-lucky" attitude with a liking for any "good things" and her cooking talent impresses both her friends and guests alike. Her dress is made out of the leaves and the flower of the daffodil, which symbolizes rebirth, new beginnings, hope, joy, and good luck.

Hope you guys had a great Thanksgiving! Y’all’s turkeys have probably digested by now, but have some more gijinka art from me.

Last year, I made a human design for Tippi, one of my absolute favorite Paper Mario partners, but looking back on it, I don’t like how the design turned out. So I wanted to redesign it. I didn’t give her a specific ethnicity and just made her look vaguely Hispanic/Latina, but with this redesign, I made her Native American as a celebration for both Native American Heritage Month and Native American Heritage Day (even though both were last month, ik I’m very late to the party 😭).

I myself don’t have one iota of Native American blood, so I had to do lots of research to make it look accurate to the tribe that her whole new look is based on while taking a few creative liberties. So I apologize to anyone who is part of the Hopi tribe or part of some other Native American tribe if Tippi’s design doesn’t look the greatest. 

However, I would love it if some of y’all would kindly comment or dm me on how I should fix my design if I somehow screwed something up. I don’t want to come off as disrespecting your culture at all, so don’t be afraid to tell me your honest opinion on it so I can learn how to improve my design.

The tribe I based Tippi’s new human design on is the Hopi Tribe. The butterfly is seen as a positive and comforting symbol within a lot of Native American tribes, and it’s very prominent within the Hopi Tribe. Since Tippi takes the form of a butterfly when she’s a Pixl throughout the entirety of Super Paper Mario, I thought it would make sense to base her on that tribe. The butterfly represents change and balance, and they have a kachina (spirit) based around it in their mythology.

The kachina is called the Polik-mana, or Butterfly Maiden. The Butterfly Maiden was one of the main inspirations for Tippi’s human redesign. According to the Hopi Tribe, the Butterfly Maiden is said to pollinate the fields and flowers and give rain to the Arizona Desert once spring rolls around. There’s even a whole traditional dance based around the kachina called the Butterfly Dance, where the young girls of the tribe basically give thanks to the Maiden for her spring dance.

Her necklace is inspired by a cute Hopi necklace I found on Google, but her earrings aren’t really inspired by anything, I kinda just made them up myself. Her dress is heavily inspired by the manta, which is a traditional knee-length garment that the women of the Hopi Tribe wear. At first, I wanted to draw her hair in squash blossom buns, which is the traditional Hopi hairstyle, but I settled on leaving her hair down to match her silhouette at the end of Super Paper Mario.

And ik this is super random, but I would also like to include a few headcanon voice actors that I think would suit the role of Tippi if Super Paper Mario was fully voice-acted like Sunshine. I kind of came up with this while digitally drawing the picture, so sorry for how random and out of place this is, I’m just currently bored out of my mind lol;

I’m sorry if I hadn’t made an actual post (that wasn’t a repost) in a while. Just had to deal with shit in life… Anyways let’s just get on with the picture of my MLP OC that I drew!

Lnx1y (Pronounced Links-Lee) is a female overlander who is an MLP OC. She is a social butterfly and loves making friends. She is also a student at the School of Friendship.

Lnx1y was born in the Overland, more specifically Jawu Island. (I will come up with more of her backstory btw!!) When Lnx1y turned 15 she enrolled in the School of Friendship having been brought to Ponyville by Princess Ika to represent the overlanders. Lnx1y being the social butterfly that she is, of course she made new friends, mainly with the Young 6. Of course Lnx1y has her own group of friends (Don’t worry, I will post about them sometime) Lnx1y is also apart of the School of Friendship cheerleading squad, which she loves as she is very energetic and flexible.

Unlike some pixies, they weren't created with items. They born and raised in the Pixies Village from other realm before move to the Devildom.

They not only befriend the same species, but also demons, angels, and humans.

Hails at the North Mountain where she play the role of the Ice Queen's guardian pixie.

Demetria was beloved by northern people, but always blamed by outsiders for creating cold seasons that led to poor harvests.

Although being hated, she have friends who empathize to her, such as Fortuna.

Loves snow boarding, ice skating and snowman building.

Talented at doing ice sculpture, which's her activity on spare time.

Befriend with Barbatos, since she was idolized him for amazing ice skating at the competition.

Pixie of Immortality.

Aggressive and pride of his aristocratic status, but keep in low-key.

Hate loud noises and bad behaviors.

Prefer to isolated from the outsiders and reading scrolls at the room, though his parents forced him to have socialize for the future.

Has ability to create an illusion to scare the opponent away.

Even so Qinglan has a pair of wings, he rarely use to fly. He is an avid walker.

Solomon is his first human friend, where met at the Royal Library of Devildom. Moreover, Qinglan, who hates bad attitudes, doesn't care Solomon's childish behavior.

Passionate about dancing and music, mostly ballroom and ballet.

The colors of her dress code are pink, red and white that she fondly of.

While having the butterflies appear within her range or travel across the surface of an area, she have capability of conjure butterflies either by dancing.

Owns the status of Heaven General and hails to the Celestial Realm.

Strict on the surface, but actually hiding self-blame and even soft-heartedness.

Knowing many incidents at Celestial Realm, mostly Luke and Simeon. But she seal them in secret for not being fallen from forbid the rules.

Loves things touched like clouds, like cotton candy and pillows

Befriend Simeon and Lucifer, whom she sympathizes with, also the one helped them mend their relationship.

In addition, she also met her disciple Hera. However, she feeling something, either was Hera at first who has a feeling for her.

Has a sword that possesses magic that can be used to expel dark souls to Hellfire, as well as has capability of light magic that can expel dark curses.

Celestia's twin sister, born later than her elder sister.

Quiet and rarely shows any other emotion besides annoyance or boredom, yet cares for family and friends deeply.

Like Celestia, Terrestria being the possessor of the Hell General and hails to the Devildom shortly after she was born.

Owns the powers of earth to manipulate the solid objects like rocks and minerals.

Love sewing and designing, but dislikes to show her works in front of people.

Befriend with Mephistopheles, when Terrestria bumped into at the mansion garden. She respects Mephisto's choices, although she had been bored and annoyed by his ridiculous ideas.

Pixie of Healing.

The one help Talia to search the remedy for cure the sleeping curse.

Like Lyssa, Cornelius has ability to cure the water pollution from his unicorn magic.

He opens his own pharmacy to save more villagers' life.

Prefer to have a peace, even so everyone suggested him to join the army.

Has the power of duplication, that he can perfectly replicate himself. Therefore, other clones have their unique personality.

Aqua, as a clone with blue clothes, showing as emo person with stubborn side. Yet he is compassion, gentle and friendly one. Likes to isolate away from outsiders and reading books.

While, Pinkie, other clone with pink clothes, is different than Aqua. He is a guy with the immature attitude of over-optimistic. Still he is empathize with person he cares, and very generous of them.

He opens himself as bisexual, though mostly people he had date were female.

He was once have crushed on Qinglan. Later he gave up for confession and hatred him, when discovered Qinglan's arrogance.

A quick guide to my ocs! Story info and tag links below the cut:

The Poppy Court: When Wren is kidnapped by a mysterious fey known as the Poppy Queen, her brother Arrow enters the Poppy Court to save her.

Currently being released as a monthly webcomic on Webtoon and Wordpress.

Wolf Cry: Gwen is a princess about to ascend to the throne, but her step-mother Calanthe has other plans.

Caelan is a fey-blood assassin sent to eliminate Gwen, but he instead takes the opportunity to escape his violent past for good.

Their plan to escape into safety is interrupted by the appearance of Sable, who insists that a great evil is approaching - and that Gwen is destined to stop it.

Currently in the plotting stage - planned to eventually become a three-book series of novels.

Blue Butterfly: Over three hundred years after Wolf Cry, humans and fey live together in the city of Unity. Marianne drops out of a prestigious magic school to join Dove, an organisation dedicated to preventing magical crime, and providing a positive outlet for young mages in difficult situations.

Among the members of her team is Adelle, who was raised in Dove and is searching for her fairy mother - the elusive Blue Butterfly.

Planned to be a webcomic, which will start releasing after The Poppy Court has concluded. The main plot is fully outlined.

Catmint Village: A quiet country village is shaken up by the arrival of Taffy, a mischevious young cat from who-knows-where.

This is a plot-light setting that I use to design cards, prints, and crochet patterns. (available to buy on my store)

Mahou Celestia Project: For generations, an interdimensional rift has floated at the edge of Star City. It's presence grants magical powers to young people in the city, but it also leaks dangerous monsters.

These monsters are held back by the Maidens - girls who can fuse with Celestial creatures to gain incredible powers. The newest generation of Maidens, led by Akira, will have to contend not only with monsters but with rogue Maidens and government secrets in order to defend the city.

I've started telling this story in the form of illustrations and short stories, which will be released in whatever order I happen to feel like making them in. The first arc of the story is fully plotted, and I know the answers to all the major mysteries, but the later plot could go any number of directions.

what could've been the start of an arranged marriage au. if I ever get around to finishing it... originally started writing it for the r/fanfiction bingo event but never finished it, so.

It takes effort to hold himself still, to not pace. It doesn’t help that his outfit feels stifling, for all that the material should be comfortable—due to nerves, due to what it represents. The slender silver-wrought circlet rests heavily on his brow, though in truth it is fairly light.

Ultear eyes him. “You don’t have to do this, you know,” she says. 

“I know.” And he does. Ultear would never have asked this of him. Maybe she would have thought of it, same as him, but she would’ve thought of it and discarded it. Gray’s here because he volunteered, because it is the best choice for Isvan, for his family. He has to remember that. 

“I’m serious. It’s not too late to call it off; all you have to do is say the word.” Ultear means it, too. It’s reassuring. Still—

“We couldn’t,” he says. “And you know it. Not unless we want to risk making an enemy of Draconia too. Isvan can’t afford that.” Not with war on their doorstep, the whole reason this is marriage treaty is even necessary in the first place. Not with Alvarez advancing on them.

Isvan is a small kingdom, and not one built for war. Their mages are few and far in between, their army skilled but small in number. They don’t have the strength to stand up to the likes of the Alvarez Empire.

Not when Alvarez has already killed Ur and Silver both; it’s little consolation that Ur’s last stand killed the demon responsible for Silver’s death—the price was too high, and Deliora isn't even the strongest of Emperor Zeref’s demons. 

So this—offering himself up for a marriage alliance, to secure Draconia’s aid and protection—is the lesser of two evils. Gray’s the only one who can, too; Ultear is the Queen now, and Lyon is her heir and one of Isvan’s strongest generals besides. Of the three of them, he’s the one Isvan can afford to lose most. He can’t back out. He chose this.

Still, that knowledge does nothing to assuage the butterflies fluttering in his stomach. It’s ridiculous; Gray’s faced down fighters more than twice his size, faced down demons—and yet it’s this, of all things, that makes him tremble with nerves. Get it together, he tells himself. He’s always known it was a possibility, had known for years now, and the fact that he’s the one who suggested this idea should make it better, but it doesn’t. 

There’s a knock on the door, and a guard pokes his head in. “Your Majesty, Your Highness, the Draconian delegation is here.”

It’s time. Gray swallows heavily, allows himself this one last show of nerves, and then arranges his expression into a cool, polite neutrality. Besides him, Ultear straightens as well. “Very well,” she says, her own mask settling into place. 

Lyon strides into the room. Behind him is the Draconian delegation, and Gray gets his first glimpse of his future husband. 

He’s shorter than he expected, for a dragon’s son, topped with a shock of bright pink hair. He’s dressed in black tunics edged in gold and thin leather sandals, golden bangles dangling off his wrists. But there’s clear evidence of his strength in the toned muscles of his arms and the myriad of scars scattered across his body. In some kingdoms, royalty are kept from fighting, are meant to be protected. Draconia isn’t one of them. Neither, for that matter, is Isvan; Gray can more than hold his own, Ur made sure of it. But, his magic and fighting style relies more on his speed and creativity, rather than brute strength. A mage, in that sense, rather than a brawler, unlike the Crown Prince of Draconia.

Next to him is Titania Erza, High General of Draconia, easily recognizable by her armor and crimson hair. Also with them is the former princess of Celestia, Lucy Heartfilia. Draconia treated the absorbed kingdom well; Gray hopes the same will hold true for Isvan. 

“Welcome to Isvan,” Ultear says regally. “We hope the journey was not too difficult.”

“Not at all,” Heartfilia says, and Gray takes a moment to wonder at the fact that she’s the dedicated spokesperson of the group. By all rights, it should be Prince Natsu who speaks, as the highest ranking member. Mentally, he revises his opinion of the former princess and her standing in the Draconian Empire. He’d thought that she would be little more than a political hostage, a symbol of Celestia’s alliance with Draconia with no real power or influence. He’d resigned himself to the same. But that’s clearly not the case of all, not when she’s allowed to speak on behalf of the prince, on behalf of Draconia. They trust her, he realizes, watching the way she stands next to the prince and not behind, the way Titania Erza is guarding both their backs, not just the prince’s. Maybe Gray won’t be relegated to irrelevance and powerlessness, either.
