Hi! I recently came across your blog and I just wanna say that I'm glad that I came across another fellow Raditz appreciator! If I may, can I ask for a continuation of that last Gohan fic where the reader gets saved by the Great Saiyaman and is kissed by him, resulting in the reader getting attention from the press and their classmates?
We love Raditz in this house 😩💕
And yes of course! Feel free to request beloved Gohan at any time, I love writing him, with or without the costume, hehe.
You walked to school on a chilly morning, your shoes crunched across the frosted grass as you came to the city border, hearing and smelling the familiar sounds of Satan City, your eyes flicked up to take in the busy traffic and high rise buildings.
You sighed. You didn't like the city, but you enjoyed the school that laid within it- and particularly your friend, Gohan. You had rekindled a strong friendship with him after being away for so many years, and you were steady going.
He was the one thing you looked forward to when waking up everymorning.
Sitting and taking lunch with him was the highlight of your day. His smiles took your desire for your meal away, totally distracting you from anything but him. Erasa pointed out how much you had been smiling lately, and you brushed it off. Even crossing his path in the hall, he gave you that trademark Son family smile that you had seen years before, perfectly replicated on his father's face.
You smiled to yourself as you approached the corner that you knew turned into school grounds.
Suddenly a loud bang sounded from behind you, which followed screaming. You were quickly jostled to the ground as the crowds fleeing trampled you in their panic, leaving you in a heap on the ground, your knees scraped and bleeding beneath your skirt.
You yelped, glancing behind you to see a huge ash cloud eminating from the building a few feet away that plumed with towering flames. It was going to envelope you, suffocate you. You were frozen to the spot, your heart pounding in your ears, squeezing your eyes shut.
Suddenly the ground was gone from beneath you and a strong arm was circled around your waist, and when you opened your eyes, the fire was far beneath you, being tamed by brave firefighters.
You looked to your saviour, recognising the green and red suit from the local magazines.
"Great Saiyaman!?" You explain, clutching his shoulders and looking into his visor.
He smiled slightly. "Don't you worry!" He said with a justice-rich voice. "You are safe now, madam!!"
You felt safer, but not entirely safe, so far above the ground. You held tightly to his shoulders until he lowered you onto a quietstreet corner, where a few passers by watched with wide eyes, stopping and staring when the hero tilted your chin up to inspect you.
"No cuts or bruises?" He said, his facial expression invisible behind the helmet visor. Something about his nose and mouth, though, seemed oddly.... familiar. You couldn't quite place it, even when he grimaced slightly when he saw the blood trickle down your calves. "Ah-" His voice seemed to break from its usual overly loud, hyper hero tone. "You're hurt-"
You looked down, the adrenaline wearing off and giving way to the subtle sting on your knees. "It's just a few scrapes.."
He held your chin and seemed to go silent in thought when you looked into his visor. You swore to yourself you could see an outline of concerned, big eyes- but you thought was cut off by an abrupt kiss to the corner of your mouth, and a few gasps from the crowd that had began forming. You went red and looked up at him, his own cheeks dusting pink.
He cleared his throat. "M-make sure to clean those cuts young lady! Don't want to get an infection, now do we?"
And with that, he was gone. Leaving you utterly speechless on the pavement with a red face.
Suddenly a hand was grabbing yours and dragging you out of the crowd.
Erasa sat you on the curb and pulled plasters from her purse, and helped you place them on your scuffed knees.
"The Great Saiyaman KISSED YOU!" She squealed, hopping up and down. "Goodness! What a handsome gentleman.. you're so lucky!"
Gohan turned the corner, his forehead shining with sweat. He must have jogged here. "Hey! I heard some commotion.. Oh, what happened to your knees?"
He knelt beside you.
"I fell over.. " You murmered, still utterly confused by the kiss that still tingled on your lips. "The Great Saiyaman saved me from a stampede.."
Erasa excitedly cut you off, squealing. "And he KISSED her!!"
Gohans face didn't change, but his nose became a little pink. He didnt show a hint of confusion, or jealousy. Just, nothing.
He giggled nervously. "Did he? That's because you're such a pretty young woman I suppose-!"
You blinked. That explained nothing at all. "He was very sweet but.. I don't-"
"It doesn't matter!" Erasa giggled. "You got kissed by a SUPERHERO."

The rest of the school day felt surreal, your mind totally elsewhere. Maths was a drag, English went in one ear and out the other. Every so often you would touch your mouth and relive the moment once again.
Gohan from the other side of the classroom, noticed. In the moment, he could stop himself, you being so close. His hidden identity had given him the courage to do something he had wanted to do since he was seven years old.. But now he felt guilty. He couldn't tell if you where simply stunned or completely traumatised by it.
So, after school, he grabbed your attention by the lockers with a soft smile.
"Could I show you something?"
You blinked at him, seemingly brought back to reality for a moment. "Sure. What's up, Gohan?"
He raked a hand through his hair nervously, and pursed his lips, turning and leading you into the stairwell and to the roof.
Once you both came out of the door and into the dull evening light, he turned with a sheepish look on his face.
You frowned. "What? What's with that look...?" He was starting to worry you.
Gohan let out a slow breath. "I... I'm the Great Saiyaman."
Your heart stopped. There was a subtle ringing in your ears. Twisted emotions bubbled in your chest that lead to a very hard slap to the cheek. "Gohan you ass!" You squeaked, and went red in the face.
You were so glad it was him.. but it would've been nice if he hadn't scared you like that! He held his cheek and apologised profusely, putting his hand up in surrender, trying not to giggle as you raged.
"Why did you kiss me!?"
He turned and locked eyes with you. "W-well.. it just felt right in the moment, I guess.."
That wasn't a good enough answer. "What is that supposed to mean!?"
He made that face again. Empty eyes and clueless face. "I like you. I thought that was mutual... gosh I'm sorry- I really read the room wrong, huh?"
Your heart did loopdeloops in your chest. So all that strange tension hadn't been your imagination...
You crashed into him, wrapping your arms around his neck. He stumbled back a step or two, before holding you back and giggling with you.
"You moron-!" You chuckled into his chest.
"I get that alot." He grinned, looking at you as you pulled away. "Maybe I should try that again?"
You tiptoed up to meet his lips, smiling wildly. Your day had taken the biggest plot twist known to man..and you weren't complaining.
................Epilogue.............
Dating for the last two weeks had been both heaven and hell for the both of you. Everytime you passed the vendors in the street, magazines with your blushing be-kissed face were plastered all over the shiny printed fronts with the words 'GREAT SAIYAMANS LOVER?' In big bold letters above.
The girls at school either supported you or were bitterly jealous.. but through it all, Gohan was right there.
Or should I say.. The Great Saiyaman was right there..?
