Goodbye

Dear diary,

I can't say it often enough. I'm so thankful for my family. There have been many moments in my adult life that I doubted everything, was insecure and without a life purpuse other then my childeren. Now I have a wonderful family who support me in my job, who love me and are there for me whatever I choose to do. I'm thankful.

My husband is my rock. He did every step of our hard way with me. We have had our depts but we are still going strong together. I'm so proud at him and don't want to live a day without him.

My boys... They fill me with love and proud. I just want to give them love and learning experiences that I never had. I would have loved to teach it to a daughter but it felt like a mission to teach my sons that their future wifes and daughters have rights and a life besides taking care of childeren.

Diary, I'm thankful and I will life my whole life saying thanks for everything.

Christmas

Dear diary,

We love celebrating christmas! We didn't do that much when I was a child. But I love to give my childeren something better. They surprised me with new seeds before christmas because they are so thankful for me to make it specail. I was so touched!

The next day it really was christmas. We decorated the tree together, even Izzy came looking what all the fuss was about.

The presents where all very appreciated.

But my family had another special surprise for me! A chickencoop with three chickens! I'm so blessed with my family.

Rafaels 12th birthday!

Dear diary,

My second son is already a teenager. We now have two teenagers in our home. We are getting used to it but I still found it unbelieveble that I'm a mother to teenagers. Time has flown by. Before I know it I will be 40!

Rafael is such a sweet and creative boy.

He loves working out just like his older brother Daniel. They do a lot of things together but Daniel loves books more while Rafael loves to do creative things.

We also celebrated thanksgiving. It was so nice to have us all around the table saying things to be thankful about.

Ismael and Manuel are very happy with our kitten Izzy. They adore her.

I'm thankful for being able to work more and take care of my garden. It looks beautiful and we are saving for a green house.

Family portrait

Dear diary,

We made some new family photo's! So exciting to have new photo's of our little family. I feel so blessed with my husband and my four sons. I couldn't be more happy.

While we waited for everyone to be ready. My eldest and youngest started playing together. Sometimes it's rough having a teenager in my home but moments like these melt my heart. He is so sweet with his little brother. They differ 9 years but that doesn't effect their brotherbond.

Daniel asked for a soccerbal recently and he has been playing a lot. Rafael likes to join him and wants to learn to play soccer too, just like his older brother.

There was also sad news with the death of my grandfather. We didn't see them much but I grew up to my grandparents living around the corner. I saw them often and I love them both very much. I'll miss my grandfather.

It was weird to go back for the funeral. I don't visit my family often. We differ to much about modesty, birth control, genderroles and so many more items. I just can't do discusions about this over and over again with my family. There are some brothers and sister who don't follow their rules that much either. They are the ones I keep in touch with a little bit. And ofcourse my twinsister, Lucy. But our lives are completly different. She has seven childeren already.

Daniel's birthday

Dear diary,

We moved! We have been living in our home for 4 years now. We moved in when Ismael was just a little baby and since then we had another little boy, Manuel. We outgrew our home a little bit, with three sons going to school in the morning we needed an extra bathroom. And some more space for the childeren to have their own little corner was also on our wishlist.

We found this two story house with five bedrooms and a study. It has one big living area with the livingroom slidely lower. We now have a little corner for the diningarea. Lukas loves it, in our first home we didn't have a diningarea so he was so happy in our old house to be able to have a diningtable. And now he has an area to create dinerparty's.

Downstairs is also the study and our masterbedroom. Upstairs are four bedrooms for the boys. They each have one of their own now and they are all very happy about it. And they have two bathrooms upstairs. In the loft is also a playarea for them. And you can look from the loft into the livingroom and the kitchen. It's very nice.

We also have a huge backyard. The childeren love playing outside and I can expand my garden even more. After we saved some money because all of it is currently in the new house.

The first birthday in our new home was Daniel's birthday. He is already 12 years old! My first teenager! I can't believe my baby boy is already this big. I remember him being a baby like it was yesterday.

He is such a bookwurm and very smart. He already has plans to go to college one day. I'm so proud at him!

Ismael's fourth birthday

Dear diary,

My son Ismael is already four years old. He loves being a big boy now and is looking forward to going to school with his older brothers. So sweet to see them grow up.

The childeren are all very excited when daddy makes a cake. He makes the best ones. Then the celebration, and after that they can finaly eat cake.

We thought it was time for a new familyportrait. With my boys growing up so fast we need to make time for that.

Since it was the weekend we all went to the parc. They boys loved playing in the spaceship. Ismael was so excited to play with the big boys on the big playset. There is a five year age gap between him and Rafael. Ismael is always looking up to his older brother.

Manuel's first birthday

Dear diary,

My baby is already one year old! I can't believe it! He is such a sweetie! My baby years are now really over with my youngest being a toddler. I'm looking back with tears in my eyes, they were beautiful years. But, also looking forward to the next fase.

Ismael and Manuel! My two youngest, 2,5 years apart. I can't believe how fast they are growing up.

All my boys, Daniel, Rafael, Ismael and Manuel. They are 10, 8, 3 and 1 year old. I love all of them so much!

Baby Weber #4

Dear dairy,

We have been blessed with a fourth son! I was a bit sad that we didn't have a girl. This is our last baby and I would have loved to have a daughter. But then I realised that if this would have been a daughter, she would only have brothers. I loved having a special relation with my sisters. So I'm very thankful for a fourth son. I hope all my boys will have a great bond with eachother.

We named him Manuel Andrew Weber. So now our sons are Daniel, Rafael, Ismael and Manuel. I love it. All such powerful meaning for my boys.

They where all thrilled to see their little brother. So special to see their bond with Manuel alreadys starting to grow.

In the mean time my heart aches from sadness for my little sister Susanna. She lost her husband way to young. He was only in his twenties. He left her behind with six little childeren. She is having the hardest time of her whole life. I can't imagen life without Lukas.

A special diner

Dear diary,

Lukas is a important cook at the restaurant he works at. The childeren are always asking him if he could make a diner at home like he does when he is working. Lukas recently took the change when we had something special to celebrate.

We all dressed up, even little Ismael. He had his own little diner before ours. Lukas really overdone himself. He made a three course diner for us, a salade, then the main meal, and for desert applepie. It was so incredible delishes!

And the boys where very excited with our news! They will have another little brother or sister soon! I'm due in six months when Ismael will be two and a half years old, Rafael will be 7 and Daniel 9. We are so thankful to recieve a fourth child.

Lukas and I did agree this would be our last child. We will be 29 and 32 when the baby arrives. So by the time he or she will be 18 we will be 47 and 50 years old. We would love to have time for ourselfs to travel before we grow old.

Christmas

Dear diary,

As a child, we never did something big with christmas. My father always said that it has to be about the birth of Jezus and not about food, presents or decorations. We did go sometimes to my grandparents from my mothers side. They did do christmas.

Now that Lukas and I have our own little family we make our own choices. We don't agree with my parents on a lot of grounds. One of them is christmas. We love to celebrate Jezus birth with all those things, food, presents and decorations. It has to be a party to feel like it.

We hang a lot of decorations, bought a ton of presents and ofcourse a tree. We decorated it together except for toddler Ismael. Then it was time for presents.

Lukas made a delishes vegan meal and it was such a happy time to eat at our table with little candles on it.

Love was spreading all around the house.

And ofcourse we had our christmas photo in the snow. I love my little family so much!

Ismael's first birthday

Dear diary,

My little boy Ismael is already one year old! My little boy is growing up so fast! I can't believe he already this big and starting to walk. He is such a sweetheart and such an easy child. I could have ten of him.

Ismael now has the guestbedroom for him self. We did't think it was a good idea to let him share with Daniel and Rafael. They are so much older then him. That will only cause problems. They boys are already 6 and 8 years old.

They do love their little brother. They are so sweet to him. Ismael would love to play with them but the boy's don't want that yet. He will break everything they will build.

Another baby on the way

Dear diary,

We have been blessed with another little one on the way. Me and Lukas are so happy with adding another member to our little family. And the boy's are thrilled about their new sibling coming soon.

I'm already in my second trimester, time flies, even while pregnant.

With Rafael starting school now just as Daniel he brought home his first school project. He was so excited! Both Lukas and me helped him make it. And Daniel helped a little bit too, so a real family project.

So fun seeing your childeren develop and grow up. I can't wait to see what they will accomplish when they are adults.

Rafael's birthday

Dear diary,

My youngest is already 4 years old! Time flies when you are having fun and when you are buzy.

Rafeal is such a sweetheart. He never does anything wrong. And he loves to play with his big brother Daniel. We are blessed with him in our life.

Since our youngest is now four years old and we are settled in quite a bit. Me with my job, Lukas with his job, we started thinking about maybe trying for another baby. It would be nice to have a little girl in our family or another boy for the boys to play with.

Weekend

Dear diary,

Lukas works now all week from early mornings to late at night. So the boys don't see there father often. We try to use the weekends to make up with that. We often go somewhere special to have quality time with our boys. It's so much fun.

We went to the parc and to the swimmingpool in the last two weeks. Daniel loves it but Rafael sometimes makes a bit of a fuss when he can't join his older brother at the big play things or in the big swimmingpool.

I bought a new swimmingsuit for our outing to the swimmingpool. I always wore a long dress when swimming. But it isn't handy at all while swimming. So I'm trying out something a little smaller. Lukas loves it and so do I.

We have been thinking about moving recently. We want a bigger house for our little family. We now have only two bedrooms, one for Lukas and me and one for the boys. But that is also where Lukas has to do work from home. So we want a place with three or four bedrooms.

For now we don't have enough money to buy a new place. This has me thinking even more to start working myself. I want to do something more then only sitting at home, cleaning, cooking and taking care of the childeren.

Rafael's birthday

Dear diary,

My little boy is already one year old! Rafael is thrilled to join his big brother in their bedroom. And I'm looking forward to them playing together.

We really didn't had enough support to stay missionairs forever. And Lukas discovered he really loved cooking so he is working now in a restaurant to learn the skills. Lukas is already practicing at home.

And I made a big change to my wardrobe. I started wearing pants. I found nothing in the bible to say about not wearing pants as a woman. I also had moments where I though pants would be more modest then skirts. Lukas didn't mind at all that I started wearing pants. He encourres me so much.

Baby's left and right

Dear diary,

My mother is 70 years old. It such a wonderful age. She can still be active while also being a bit more lazy. And all those grandchilderen, and greatgrandchilderen. She still has a buzy life. I love every visit from her to my home and childeren. She is so important in my life. She is my rock, whenever something is wrong in life I go back to my mother as a little girl. A little weird but it's just how it is.

My daugther Harriet also celebrated a birthday. Already a teenager. She is very active and loved to play outside. But we made it clear to her that that is no longer appropiote for girl her age.

And then we had left and rigth baby's coming into our life. First we got the message that Charlotte had another baby boy, Rafael.

Then Lucy surprised us with twinboys! Lennard and Thomas are their names. Since she lives so much closer to us then Charlotte, I went straight over to Lucy's place and cuddled those little boys.

And then came more news! My third daughter, Evangeline, is expecting her first baby! We now have 5 grandsons so I told Evangeline it's time for a granddaughter. She said she will do her best to deliver, but at the same time she would love to have a boy herself so he could play with his cousins.
