My AU scug relationships! First time I made Spearmaster, Enot and Survivor, and I finally have a headcannon Rivulet design, so I hope you enjoy!

finally the relationship chart is complete and because I saids so (and because there are so many images) you get the sluggos forst

first the template and now all of them separate because all together it is unreadable

extra things I couldn't quite express in the images themselves under the cut

current main ships at the moment are fishsticks and artihunter but I find several other pairings (even involving the already mentioned ones) hella cute

All of the arrows ig are what the characters thinks of the others. It's prolly normal but idk this is the first time I've ever done one.

if there are any inconsistencies then I'm sorry it's a lot to remember and think of all of them at once so I took it once character at a time

spearmaster basically adopted hunter as their sibling because they spent a lot of time together in their early cycles (because sig and suns are friends so ofc their messengers would meet a bunch)

Also spearmaster and wanderer/nightcat are siblings because (in my canon ig) they both were made by suns.

i figured that since ive finally finalised all my scug designs i might as well do one of these!! some retcons are here and there from my other headcanon posts pfft

with the power of ms paint i have drawn my versions of the sluggies!

some notes about each of them:

Monk: his floppy ear absoulutely slaps her in the face if she turns to quickly

Survivor: he has several minor scars over their body

Hunter: isnt blind in her scarred eye, but vision *is* worse in that one

Gourmand: *so* smart, biggest brain, smartest sluggy, *so* good at sluggying

???/Enot/Inv: *very* one track minded

Artificer: quiet n stares at nothing/through people if theres nothing to direct its anger at

Rivulet: either has No Scars becaus hes *too fast* or has scars on their lower half only from going *too fast* n scratching himself on the enviroment

Spearmaster: tallest sluggy, if you count their ears (if you dont then tallest slug is gourmand)

Saint: short n stocky for retaing body heat, sooo scraggly and weary

Under a cut because it’s multiple for each slugcat (and maybe some explanations for some). Felt I should post it at some point to inform how I usually like to doodle these creechurs. These squishables-

My Nightcat is a slugcat that I found as a slugpup in Gourmands campaign (they’re the same age as Surv and Riv) making Surv, Monk, Mand, Night and Riv a family unit of sorts in some manner. I mean it’s all some form of found family for the slugcats but each are individual family units. They’ve made their own colony (small but hey surv finds random kids so) and this group is just a big family in that colony.

My Artificer has problems, and a lot of complicated feelings towards slugcats younger than herself - something something trauma still lingering and seeing her kids in others and the want to protect but fear she’s going to repeat mistakes. Doesn’t really help that he has another slugpup again (slugdessa). Also I think Gourmand is - a wonderful option as a friend for them. They get it, they get each other.

I had one for Slugdessa but mobile said na but it’s not really much different from the lines pointing towards her. Also Enot aroace but flirts? That’s because he doesn’t fully realise and thinks that they have to be in some romantic relationship for companionship. Wait until she realises they can, in fact, have meaningful relationships without forcing romance *taps forehead*

Saint comes from a timeline where shit just, went down the games route but bad endings. The only other slugcat that survived was Monk - who was Saints mentor in their original timeline. Saint mega ascended and developed a god complex and tried to reverse some timeline moments - like forcefully ascending Artificer before she killed the Scav King. Which, unfortunately, only made them an angry echo. Saint lost that god complex very quickly after learning he couldn’t - in fact - change the world to her will. So it’s complicated feelings for Saint but none malicious for the altogether timeline.

Hunters complicated feelings towards NSH is mostly because whilst I’ve decided that the rot was an accident of their creation it still - was horrible to deal with. Frightening. He knows it’s not NSH fault but at the same time it’s hurt by the fact it happened. Complicated.

I uh, I need to post something so I am posting how I remade Mesothoriums relationship base smiles. Aggressor is next and then I'll do Local Group cause snoot.. You get all their heads first, characters in order: Six Beads, Rapid Negative Arrows, Diligent Necessary Adaptation, A Luminous Magnificent Aquamarine, Euphoric Dominance, Sacrificial Malicious Hardware, Killing Enigma.

things of note under cut for both future me and others

main ships are sunstone (obviously) and slivermoon. I will drift from these way less often than the slugcat one but may still draw others idk.

all of these are to my own canon and what I find neat so don't go saying "erm actually suns and sliver never met before" because I thought it'd be neat with them both being out of the main local group for them to at least know eachother a bit and because I will not care it's my silly ideas I do what I want :3

Sliver may not be as active as the others but they occasionally chat in this local group (which is how suns and moon knows them)

look at moon and sig looking up at you with them big ol eyes :3

now that I think about it sig to pebbles should have been hate/best friends because despite finding him annoying they still care for him (even after all the shit that happened).

moon and pebbles are the only two I consider siblings.
