Walk in the woods on a rainy sunday.

So peaceful, barely anyone is out there when it’s cold and rainy. So quiet, only the calming sounds of nature.

My hands freezing cold as I’m taking picture after picture of these lovely green leaves and stunningly beautiful trees.

Rainy autumn, the sky is crying, nature is slowly fading and sadness envelops my soul.

It is a rainy, autumn day. I have coffee and vegetable sushi rolls. I get to read for class most of the day. The only thing that could make this better would be a fuzzy buddy on my lap.

It's July and the temperature might be normal, or might not. I don't care as long as the sky isn't grey. I'd like the cold that barely touches you through the clothes. Colder? Try more layers or an embrace.

Would you wake up to a sky covered in clouds, ready to rain, keep that cold there for a little longer? A smell of wet ground and leaves so intense you can taste it once the window is opened?

The sun doesn't get to warm everything too much in the little time it got. It's dark at 5. When it shines, it doesn't spike, it merely touches the face. It doesn't blind you.

The branches of the trees holding leaves of all colours or nothing at all looking like a decoration in a manuscript. Insects are gone except for a few spiders you can always see. They've got nowhere to hide.

Seasonal flowers smell different when the air feels thiner and the shadows are merely visible when the light is pale.

As much as I like to walk on a summer night, I'd rather have an autumn day.

Fall - North Vancouver

The fall in North Vancouver is incredibly beautiful. I'm born in august and I prefer the summer, but here, I have learned to love the fall. Walking around and seeing colors with a mix of red, orange, brown and green, autumn leaves laying everywhere on the wet ground, houses with impressive Halloween decoration, rainy days that make the city even more cozy and attractive and the sun that comes out sometimes to illuminate the buildings and trees in a golden light. This is what the autumn in North Vancouver is like and I realized once again how lucky I am to live here for ten months. This place is special. Even if it rains a lot this season. People keep calling it "Raincouver" and this description is definitely suitable. But it is like I said, I don't like the autumn and still fell in love with the fall here.
