I've made an art book and the Kickstarter is about to launch! It has writing, illustrations, and comics similar to this one! It's called Waving at Airplanes and it's probably the largest project I've ever done (I'm quite proud of it).

Because the line Aphrodite leaves her with is the same thing Athena abandoned Odysseus for??? Like she has no answer to the accusation that he spited the cyclops, so all she can do is buy time and beg her to reconsider

Fortunately for her, Ares, in all his rage and madness, gives her the answer by bringing up Telemachus.

A broken heart can mend. After all, thanks to Telemachus, hers has.

Another quick outfit doodles for Tim and Danny, since I drew a royal outfit for Dani(Eleanor aka Ellie) I figured her dad's need one too. Ellie's and Danny's crown float and shift like the northern lights. Tim's crown is made to look like the north star (coughhis nickname is Polaris by Danny so it's cutecough) and is made of ghost crystals and dragon scales/claws (which makes it super strong). Danny's cape shifts and sways and always looks like there is a galaxy behind him.

listen. i love the mona lisa. sorry not sorry. i don't care. i don't care that she's small, or that there are more technically difficult or interesting paintings. i don't care that she's overhyped and that 99% of the people standing in front of her are just there to check her off some list and don't really care about her, or any other painting. i love her. i love her. and you can sit there and tell me that leo didn't feel the same way but i don't fucking believe you and since neither of us can prove how he felt your guess is just as good as mine. he worked on that portrait for sixteen years. he carried it around with him. a commissioned portrait he never gave to the man who commissioned her. because he loved her like i love her (that's my truth and you can't prove me wrong you can't). because you look in her eyes and she looks right back at you, she looks right back at you like she knows you. like you're old friends who have just been introduced at a party after not seeing one another for years. sending one another sly smiles that say "yes, we've met before." like this is the third time you've made eye contact across the room but neither of you is moving to close the gap. like maybe you were in love a very long time ago, and maybe you are still, and maybe you always will be, but you're with different people now, you have houses and families and lives that only cross every few years so it's better not to speak of it. better just to look. I love her.

So, from TC to everything TOA, everyone expresses their distaste for Apollester's haikus. I believe that they don't actually hate on the technical execution (he's usually adhering to the form pretty well, unless you take into account that haikus are usually nature-themed in some way, but there's such a thing called artistic freedom, so it shouldn't factor in that much). Most people not liking his haikus don't have that knowledge on the technicalities of it anyway.

But any haiku, even the very first one in TC, was just Apollo "going through the motions". It seemed as if he did it because he felt like he had to, like it was expected of him as the god of poetry (and I can understand this, as there are soo many mentions of him being tied to the sun in the pjo!verse, and just as many of him being the god of archery, but not as many about poetry, so of course he wants to remind people). It's performative, and not in a good way.

Art is always best if it's coming straight from the heart. And any time Apollo does perform something heartfelt (like he did about Daphne and Hyacinthus and Jason), it is well-received.

In my opinion, Apollo's journey as Lester Papadopoulos isn't just about changing his character's personality, it's also about him redeveloping appreciation for art and its ability to put your emotions on display in any way, shape or form you desire.

Quick disclaimer: I've read the reblogs (and loved them, first time someone reblogged my posts and adding their own thoughts, so yay 🥰), and I just want to clarify that my post was never meant to say that I think Apollo's haikus suck, I just wanted to get to the bottom of why they're not well-received by the in!verse characters.

The thing with Flairmidable’s costume is — this isn’t Felix’s style, at all. And that’s what makes it so brilliant.

The entire point of this design is to be a credible copy of what Adrien would wear as the Dog holder, and as such, it is much closer to Chat’s suit than it is to Argos’.

Allow me to demonstrate:

✨ Ears! ✨

High collar + Bell combo

Shoulder pads

A geometric motif on the chest, which also elongates the arms

✨ Tail! ✨ It’s a shame you can’t admire it on this render.

The biggest difference between the two costumes is the absence of over-the-knee boots on Chat’s side — but you know who does wear them?

That’s right! Adrien’s miserablesona! The one who conforms to expectations and fake perceptions of his identity.

In other words, Felix (and the character designers, of course, let’s hear a round of applause for them) came up with a costume that is a perfect combination of:

What Adrien would actually wear as the Dog holder;

What Felix thinks his cousin would wear as the Dog holder.

And he slays. And he knows it.

Ummm…don’t mind this…I drew this in like…March, during school. I have it to one of my teachers, and she keeps calling Swannie her son…what the heck. I was finally able to take a picture of it today, she had the lights off so it’s really bad quality…BRO THIS ART IS SO OLD WHY HE LOOK LIKE THAT!?!
