Meet me where I sit with my insecurities. Show me your vulnerabilities, scars that hurt, memories that still haunt. Meet me by the beach and tell me about your childhood memories, with or without the traumas. Meet me at the dark alley so you could share your truths, and I can unveil mine. Meet me near the lake at dusk so we could undress our shields, uncover our stories, even before a subtle bare nudge. Meet me in the clouds, and tell me that the imaginary world does exist, and you have seen magic grow in my backyard. Meet me at the hill so we can scream to the stars to make our wish come true, let’s scream so loud that the stars have no choice but to fall for us. Meet me where your heart meets mine, meet me where I meet myself.

I love you when the sun shines and it makes you crinkle your nose
(you tie your hair up and I want to place kisses on the little patch of skin on the back of your neck that you expose)
I love you when it rains and the drops catch on your eyelashes
(it thunders and you laugh at me because I hide myself in your arms when the lightning flashes)
I love you when it snows and you become a carefree child
(we're holding hands and catching snowflakes on our tongues as the world around us runs wild)
I love you when it's windy and your cheeks go red from the cold
(still, you give me your sweater to shield me from the breeze and I hope we're like this even when we're grey and old)

People often believe that forgiving and loving someone who has wronged you is weak. That forgiving and ‘giving in’ means your heart isn’t strong enough to steel yourself and turn away.
I believe that loving someone, especially if they hurt you, is the strongest thing a person can do. At some point in their pain, they have to accept it. They have to feel it fully and get through it. They have to open their heart again. They have to look the person who shattered their soul in the eyes and say the three words that have haunted their mind at every waking hour: “I forgive you.”
They have to feel their pain and weigh their options. Forgiving someone means believing that their history with their wrong-doer is more important than the pain inflicted on themselves.
Forgiving someone means coming to terms with your shattered heart and gluing it back together again.
Forgiving someone means letting love seep back into your life.
Forgiving someone means that you love so much, and so hard, that you are willing to feel the pain to love.
And that is the strongest thing a person can do.
Because strength is built out of love. A strong man without love is a weak man at heart.

in the eye of the tornado it all feels everlasting
swirling winds, endless destruction,red snow
bruised minds and broken hearts
one day, it all ends. everything goes
Another dawn, a dusk bringing home
light pouring into brittle souls and bright eyes
What doesn’t wane in the blistering dark
only shines brighter under golden hues
In an instant we’re bursting in technicolor
those wounds still bleed blue but
the pinks I see heal the stings a smidge
marooned hearts painted a new shade
blinding lights, glistening faces all around
Wherever I wander, I return here
to words that hold my blood, brain and soul
after every guttural cold on barren branches
the colour returns home to the trees
A new bloom, stemming from the pain
my lessons giving birth to newer colours
each a unique crescendo of healing

Some rough poetry I just wrote
[If you guys want more I can post some of my older actually fleshed out poetry. This I just wrote so it's more of rambling than poetry tbh. Kinda lyrical too though. I was vibing at little rhymes I did]
You tear up my heart with your teeth.
Sink them in, sink them deep.
My heart aches when nothing bites.
Bite into me like a wolf would bite a deer.
Rip it up.
Tear me apart.
Cut me up.
Serve me on your table.
Like the others before.
It's different this time, though.
Only you feast.
Only you can.
On every part of me.
You cannibal.
Eat me like an animal.
Feed on my flesh.
Show me how you love.
Tear me apart.
Chew down on my heart as it beats.
Devour my flesh.
Even when everyone says it's crazy.
That you're no good.
But I'm crazy.
No good.
Dirty, need to be clean.
Clean me up.
Serve my meat.
Devour my heart.
You're all I need.
I'm all you feed.
I'll supply your hunger.
Indulge in my blood.
As it flows out.
Flooding your life with love.
I want to be your victim.
Eat my heart.
Devour it.
I love you.
Eat me.

scream
cry out
wail
screech
it builds in your gut
begging to be let out in the world
pain, envy, love, fear, joy.
shriek
call out
yawp
hiss
the world is spinning
your head is spinning as well
love, disgust, guilt, loss, renewal.
my therapist says it's healthy
to open your mouth and just
hiss
screech
yawp
wail
call out
cry out
shriek
Scream.

In the snow ...
A Tale of Advent
Snowflakes were falling as I visited one of our Advent markets.
Looked at all the big booths.
So many amazing things.
And saw an old man in a small booth with snow globes in all sizes.
"So beautiful.
May I?" I asked.
He gave me a friendly nod.
So i took one and looked at it more closely.
It seemed really old. Inside the holy couple, Mary and Joseph at the manger.
The colors still fresh.
The virgin in the dark blue dress looking at her child.
A tired smile on her lips.
A woman who had come a long way to find a safe place.
"Charming, isn't it?" He said.
"Rare to find in these days.
Reminds me of my youth."
"You are right." I replied.
"Seems they need a shelter from the cold
and i have one to offer.
So: How much do you want?"
"30 Euros."
"Don't have that much with me. Let's say - 20?"
"I give you 50. For my darling."
A voice came from behind.
A deep, dark voice that sounded like money.
And a high pitched female voice. "Oh Honey."
I turned and looked at the two.
A guy like Charles Napier, know what I mean.
And she - half his age. A schoolboys dream.
What connected them was their view of the world.
Cold and calculating.
And their warm fur coats. Must have cost a fortune.
"Hey" Said the man.
"Why you're looking at me?
Looking for trouble, i guess. Yes?
You gonna look pretty funny
trying to eat gingerbread with no teeth!"
All that in a Charles Napier tone, you know.
"Don't react." I said to myself. Just deadpan.
But inside I burst out laughing.
"OK. Then give me the ball."
Said the man
and waved a 100 Euro bill.
The dealer changed silently.
And the two left.
Heads held high.
So high they almost trampled
on a young woman standing on the corner.
A woman in a dark blue dress.
A child in her arms.
A tired smile on her lips.
Someone who had come a long way
and needed a safe place
a shelter from the cold.

I don't know how to exist without being used. I have a desperate need to be useful, Because nobody will want me otherwise. I need to be useful. That's the only way I could survive.

the 15th of november
the way that the day
has only just started
and i am already
drowning in my anxiety
feels incredibly unfair
in the grand scheme of things
because i had so much hope
for the beauty of today
