honestly want abby to fall asleep on top of me- snoring n everything. her head on my chest, leg hiked up on my waist n all. i’d neverrrrr let her move.

literally want nothing more than this. abby’s leg hiked up around your waist her head laying against your chest and snores coming from her pouty lips. all of her weight rests on top of you, but you welcome it. you were supposed to leave a few hours ago to meet some friends, but you don’t have the heart to move her. so you just rub her back, run your fingers through her hair, smoothing over the top her head. abby whispers your name in her sleep, and it makes you smile.

it’s never like this with her. she usually likes to be one who holds rather than being held. you take comfort knowing how vulnerable she lets herself be around you. her soft breath on your exposed chest, her hands subconsciously land on your hips as her thin sheets barely hold over her hips and yours, her bare skin feels like heaven. strong, freckled back is a sight to see, and you can’t help yourself watching her. you never want to leave this moment, always want to say right here in serenity with her.

he’s a pretty standard swap nightmare, i think! he’s cynical and stand-offish, but craves connection with people. he’s just been dealt enough bad hands that he assumes the worst of everyone around him, so he doesn’t bother trying to form meaningful relationships. he does want to help people though, if only to feel useful and hold onto a glimmer of hope that maybe someone will like him. despite that, he takes his job as the guardian of negativity very seriously and tries his best to uphold the balance— even if his brother is constantly expanding his territory and eos is vastly outnumbered by his followers. this of course comes into conflict with his want to help people, as upholding the balance means often spreading negativity. so a lottttt of AUs consider him a menace/bad omen and he’s generally treated rather poorly. 😔 but hey, at least he has one friend (aka killer, who followed him one day and never left him alone)

there’s lots more to him and his brother but i want to expand on that in a fic someday so perhaps i will keep it secret for nowwwwwwww

I dunno if this has been asked yet, but I'm wondering what your thoughts are on the fae & deadnames?

I remember seeing a post YEARS back about tricking the fae by giving them your deadname instead of your true name, and people had so many different takes on what happens to a fae when given one -

TL;DR: If one's true name grants a fae power, what does a deadname do (if anything)?

your "True Name"(/the name that holds power over you) is whatever name you most identify with-- the one that is you and represents your identity. it's a major aspect of yourself, it's you put into language. it can be a given name, a chosen name, etc.

this means a True Name can change over time, it just depends on how much identity you've built around a name. so the shift can be very quick or slow; if you change names often/have difficulty settling on a name, your True Name might lag behind your latest choice while you build up your identity around your new name. if you identify with a name very strongly and/or quickly, your True Name can shift to that name much faster.

this would mean your deadname does nothing. any nicknames/fake names you would tell the fae to call you instead also hold no power over you because it's a mask. a fake identity you're wearing to protect your true self.

(although be careful becoming too attached to that new name... it might start holding some power. there's a reason fae tend to have many names ;) )

• She’s often found working alongside Tsurara and Renatus the most(the latter much to her dismay), since their roles often cross over into each others territories. With Tsurara’s experiments and research and Renatus’ confiscation of illegal grimoires used to tamper with bodies, she’s often the one who oversees and collects such information.

• She absolutely hates working with Renatus, she cannot STAND him or his crudeness. And he is the only one who is able to get under her skin and break her professional attitude with his impropriety. Renatus thinks it’s funny every time to hear her swear and be contradictory to her reputation.

• In terms of closeness with her coworkers, she is closest with Tsurara, friendly with Agito, Orter and Rayne, neutral with Kaldo and Ryoh, and on negative terms with Renatus.

• Really really really wants to get a cat or similar feline familiar but doesn’t want her bookshelves to get scratched or covered with fur.

• She’s debated on asking Agito what pet he’d recommend for her lifestyle but she’s worried about her reputation if she’s found being “soft.”

• Tried forming a book reading club with the other Divine Visionaries. It went about as well as you’d expect(bad).

• Owns a variety of hair accessories. On holidays she’ll change her headband based on the theme of said holiday.

Okay, yes! The story is set in 2008. Elliot's twin is the person who outed him to their parents. :( The ultimate betrayal by the person he was closest to.

Something bad happens and Rayne's maker (named Laurent and who I will hopefully make an OC Profile for later) sort of… goes very insane and does a lot of terrible things to Rayne. (For instance, cheating on him and gaslighting him and locking him in a coffin.) And Rayne finally decides to leave- while he can. TwT

Also yes! Laurent had long blond hair that reached the middle of his back. Every time Rayne sees hair like that, his heart skips a beat and he turns to go in the opposite direction. Just in case it's him.

Well, they're both really awkward at first. Elliot thinks he's stumbled across some sort of homicidal madman in the woods and Rayne is like "No, no, no. I promise. I would never hurt anybody!" And when Elliot clearly doesn't believe that, he ends up blurting out, "I'm a vampire." And he shows Elliot his fangs, which Elliot immediately tries to poke because he's a silly idiot.

But yeah! Rayne hasn't really talked to another person in a long time and Elliot has been basically living in hell since he got to England. During the fight he had with his roommate, he ended up getting locked out of their place. So Rayne awkwardly is like "You could… stay with me tonight?"

Because he's dumb and also because he can't just let this human go and tell everyone he knows he just saw a vampire in the woods! But he doesn't want to hurt Elliot. He just wants him to not blab his secret. But yeah. Elliot is also stupid and agrees. So they go to Rayne's apartment and hang out for the weekend. And Rayne sort of tries to prove that he wouldn't hurt anyone, but Elliot believed him immediately. (Because Rayne is pretty and Elliot is a dumb gay idiot.) But yeah. They become friends over the weekend.

And neither of them wants Elliot to go back to his dorm. But he has to. And then they're both sad and miss each other.

Like instead of Insta-Love, it's Insta-Friendship because they have a lot in common despite being two decades apart. (They both like the same movies and books and music and food.) After a few weeks, Rayne ends up asking Elliot to live with him because he misses him so much. He is starved for attention and social interaction. And Elliot's roommate is actually terrible. So it's a two birds/ one stone situation! And they become roommates who hang out all the time. Then it becomes Romantic a while later! :D

They both like each other a lot, but Elliot was in a shit relationship a couple years ago. And Rayne is still traumatized from his past. So they're both sort of dance around it until one night when their mutual attraction is revealed and they're both like "WHAT? We could've been kissing this whole time?"

Bro you're 100% right, even fuckin Morgana says "You don't really hate Joker, do you?" Right in the middle of kicking Akechis ass like??? Literally the only person who thinks they hate Akira is Akechi and thats probably just because Akechi feels like he SHOULD hate him, and kinda forces himself to, y'know?? Like, if Morgana can call you out on your emotional bullshit then its pretty obvious at that point.

There's nuance to Akechi's hate. I definitely think he resents Akira (cue the entire "Teammates?! Friends?!" monologue) and that contributes to him feeling like he hates him. The guy outdoes him at every turn! But there's respect there, no matter how begrudging it may be ("You're the one person I refuse to lose to.") Akechi can gripe all he wants about how unfair his hand is, but he sees Akira as an equal— and more importantly, he trusts him to make choices that literally mean life or death, because he believes that the two of them are so in tune that he knows, without having to ask, what decision Akira will make. ("You won't say no, will you?")

funny thing about that- it wasn't something I specifically decided about Aryaille, but despite not having a lot of romantic experience she is generally comfortable making the first move

cause now there's 2 (TWO) instances of someone developing a crush on her first, but she's the one who actually acts upon it after figuring it out (eventually). With Thancred in her main timeline and Yloise in the shared AU Aryaille is the one to initiate their first kiss >/////< It really amuses me that it happened twice even though one's an NPC and the other is someone else's OC

there's also the time she asked out Sophie (GNB quest npc), but that's just a cute little aside rather than something lasting or impactful to her character
