I love Raph and haven’t said that enough so to be more specific I love that Raph is a soft boy who loves bear plushies, a gross boy who eats an assortment of things that are definitely better left alone, a smart boy who is more than capable of taking down villains through planning and fortitude alike, a strong boy who is dedicated to training his muscles and fighting prowess, a teenage boy who loves his brothers but is more than happy to tease and roughhouse with them, an angry boy who sometimes lets his anger take a hold of him to cover the fear, a gentle boy who is generous with hugs and affirmations to those he loves, a capable boy who takes on more than should ever be expected of a teenager, a good boy who just wants to be a hero and slowly comes to realize the cost of that duty, a good boy who has no reservations about putting himself in the way of harm coming to his family, a good boy who’s a great brother and son and person and deserves only the best the world has to offer.
My fixation on the fandom is dwindling!! I am finally ready to turn both my AUs into Original Works.
[They already were though the moment I decided to turn them into AUs though LOL]
I AM NOT LEAVING TSP!
Don't get me wrong, this isn't me saying I'm gonna leave the fandom HAHA! I'm not!! :3
I want to let myself free from the restrictions of having to strictly follow the TSP storylines and branch off with my own ideas, you know? Let myself have some fun too.
[Because lately, the creative weight of having to bind myself down to TSPs original story has been troubling me~ no fun at all!!]
My AUs have really transformed into something really big!! Elements of The Stanley Parable are still there, but I also want my audience to acknowledge that a lot of the things I make for it are also my own stories and characters now!
[Not to misunderstand as me 'claiming' TSP / its characters, I meant that I own the designs, original storylines, and lore for them.]
It's going to be an original work inspired by The Stanley Parable and will contain a lot of elements related to the game itself!
[Think of Undertale AUs HAHAHA! The logic here is similar to those!]
I'm still going to make canon TSP related content here and there, but I'm largely going to focus on my two AUs, Achromatic Loop and Blank Scripts.
Was discussing fic commenting practices with a friend the other day, and realised we both comment on things for different underlying reasons. So I thought it might be interesting to make a poll about it! Why do you comment? Do you see it as a one-on-one interaction with the author, or as a way of supporting the community? Is it a form of payment or the start of a dialogue?
I think there are a lot of different and valid attitudes to this, and I’m curious to see what different readers’ thought processes are! I’m sure that for most readers, multiple of these answers apply—try to pick the one that feels most important to you, and please do expand on them in the tags if you like!
headcanon that the reason sophie still has eyelashes to pull on the regular is that grady and edaline worked something out with the dizznees to get a tasteless formula to help eyelash growth specifically to put drops of in her bottles of youth. because there’s no way her ptsd-induced trichotillomania (oversimplified definition for those who aren’t familiar: hair pulling disorder) is gonna die down during the war, so they’re trying to make sure she doesn’t move from eyelashes to eyebrows or her Hair hair by giving her More Eyelashes
