-Rebecca's first day in S.T.A.R.S was in the middle of August. Wesker had heard that Bravo team was receiving a new rookie but could have honestly cared less, he had only made an appearance because he was one of the two captains, it was one of his many responsibilities. A simple introduction and back to dealing with his own team, Alpha and Bravo only collaborated as a whole when there was a "big deal" type of mission and of course those were as rare as blue moons..

It was really nerve-wracking for Rebecca though, fresh out of the academy and she's already hired at the RPD with a whole team, it was a bit disappointing when there were no other girls but she sucked it up and happily made friends with her new co-workers, they made her little puzzles and games so they could all get to know her better

In the middle of her welcome party she was introduced to Wesker, he had come into the office looking already done with it, not one for small talk or unnecessary pleasantries he carried on with the hope to quickly be over and finished

He was utterly intimidating to say the least, her heart was practically beating raw out of her chest as she nervously introduced herself to Alpha team's captain, his handshake was calculated and confident. Compared to Enrico she would have never guessed that they were both on the same level of authority, the contrast between them was drastic, jarring almost..

Enrico of course had noticed her nervousness and quickly joked to ease her, telling her that he isn't as scary as he wants to be. Albert on the other hand pretended but in a way felt terribly weak, the sight of Rebecca, the sound of her meek introduction and her coquettish demeanor made his stomach twist and knot....he felt that it was almost illegal, no, inhuman to even be as cute as she was

She was everything. Soft, clever, ambitious, and humble. Rebecca was a bit naive but she wasn't dumb, she wanted to prove she belonged and work hard to keep her position. The moment Captain Wesker left, Rebecca couldn't help but to ask everyone more about him, he didn't smile once but she didn't mind-- there would be plenty of opportunities for them to talk again

-Courting went just as well as Albert expected, he could only do so much before playing the waiting game. He would request for Ms.Chambers' presence in the RPD lab room and ask for her honest opinions and thoughts regarding new developments in the field medicine the medical team would use...Rebecca felt important and special under his attention and after a while she grew out of her initial shyness, falling into a comfortable rhythm with him where she could talk about almost anything. Either complaining about the lines at Starbucks or having heated debates, if Rebecca had any free time to spare, she would always be happily chatting away with Wesker

-Rebecca was the one to start the relationship, she watched an embarrassing amount of motivational YouTube videos the night prior and asked the big question during lunch break in his office, Albert damn near had a stroke that day (he honestly didn't expect his awkward off and on flirting to actually take effect on her whatsoever) but they officially started dating in early winter ❄️☃️

-Rebecca likes annoying Wesker just because she has the privilege, she's aware there's a good handful of people in the RPD who would want to antagonize the captain without retaliation nor consequences, so it makes it even more fun. Either in his office or out in public, she will bring his hand to her mouth only to nip at his fingers or just headbutt his chest or arms when she's feeling silly

Of course, it does bother Wesker to an extent but he lets it slide since it's admittedly very adorable

Sometimes if she feels really bold, she'll purposefully approach him when he's talking to another co-worker and casually take the sunglasses off his face, she thinks it's really funny when he doesn't seem phased, not sparing her a glance and continuing conversation. Rebecca has done it so often it's become an inside joke within both teams

-She likes indulging his photography hobby and posing as a model, at first she was super camera shy but eventually got eased into it. Rebecca is stunningly photogenic, she's not beautiful like a model but rather like a modern goddess. He has 3 cameras filled with nothing but her, Albert is always buying her lots of cute clothes and costumes despite her protests (⁠*⁠´⁠ω⁠｀⁠*⁠)

-Wesker likes to teach Rebecca how to shoot various firearms and often spends hours with her in the shooting range. She's the only other person who he lets handle and shoot his own custom Samurai Edge (which she thought was super cool)

Of course, it's a heavy gun and the recoil is pretty strong for her so it gives him the chance to get behind and guide her correctly. Sometimes his touch lingers for too long or he presses himself too close to her but Rebecca pretends to not notice, she basks in his careful attention and honeyed praise

However, good things come with a price, the price being the eventual headaches she gets from the gunpowder smell..

-He is so utterly possessive it isn't funny. The only place Rebecca can really be alone at is work and even then he's always showing up to visit or asking for her at least 2 times a day. In public he gets antsy if she leaves his sight...Wesker isn't a big fan of PDA but when he wants he's subtle about it, having his hand on Rebecca's waist or pulling her close to himself, it never fails to make her feel even more precious ꒰⁠⑅⁠ᵕ⁠༚⁠ᵕ⁠꒱⁠˖⁠♡

-On the rare occasions Wesker does get jealous, it's when the other rookies are clearly trying to make moves on her....over time he has learned to relax though, he trusts Rebecca and does kinda abuse his position of power sending those poor souls heaps of tedious paperwork

However Rebecca definitely gets 10x more jealous, if she hears or sees others flirting with Wesker she gets upset and ignores him entirely or tells him off with the excuse of how "busy" she is at the moment..

it makes him utterly depressed and he does try his best to make it up to her (个⁠_⁠个⁠)

-Rebecca naturally smells really sweet, whenever she's alone in the vicinity Wesker likes to wrap his arms around her and smell her for a moment, just quietly leaning into her small frame. Her scent strangely soothes him, especially after a long day-- he's considered trying to find a scientific way to bottle it up...

-She is NOT a still sleeper by any means, always tossing and turning at night and hogging all the blankets, Albert doesn't really mind because he sleeps as still as a corpse. Ever since they started dating he has bought a whole bunch of pillows and blankets just for her

-Rebecca loves planning cute little dates for them... theme parks, museum tours, indoor movie nights, Ect. Her love language is definitely quality time whereas Wesker's is both acts of service and gift giving

-She's one of the few people that make him laugh, either by her actions or a joke he can't help dropping the serious attitude and genuinely smiling/laughing at her nonsense, it makes Rebecca strangely proud

-Wesker drives an expensive black SUV with all the windows definitely too tinted for it to be legal, Rebecca drives a small and simple car like a Honda or Nissan. They park next to eachother just because she thinks it's cute

-Her hair is super soft and fluffy meanwhile his is hard and definitely has damage. Whenever they're bathing together she likes washing it, feeling the gel turn into mush and slowly deteriorate. She uses a sweet smelling honey-vanilla shampoo and he uses like head and shoulders or something weird smelling like that

-With Rebecca, Albert has started to indulge in things he normally would judge others for indulging in, like fast food and awful movies/TV shows. They're both on season 6 of The Kardashian's and admittedly he looks forward watching it with her every time she comes over, her reactions and expressions to the dramatic show are even more better to observe

-On the field, Wesker almost always pushes Rebecca to her limits, he's confident in her abilities and wishes to see her believe more in herself. He may come across as stern or harsh but that's how he shows he truly does care and worry about her

-Wesker secretly likes sweets, Rebecca eventually finds out when she catches him in the break room nibbling on a chocolate donut from the box Barry brought for everyone, she giggled like it was the funniest thing on earth. He was a bit embarrassed but she reassured him when she brought homemade brownies the next week

-Compared to him, Rebecca has a significantly bigger social circle so sometimes she gets busy hanging out with friends or simply going out. She doesn't do it often but when she does Albert is always missing her dearly, he tries distracting himself with something productive but his thoughts always wander back to his darling and her wellbeing, he's briefly considered putting a tracker on her phone...

When she eventually does return, he becomes shamelessly clingy, beckoning her to the couch or bed to cuddle until the next day, a request in which Rebecca happily agrees upon 🌅

Hope the 5 fans of this ship enjoyed, I want to incorporate more dark themes in the next part, these sillies are the best (⁠๑⁠˙⁠❥⁠˙⁠๑⁠)

He held up a hand and the bay was silent.

A movie of my fic and who would I cast---

Oh I love this one!!! Hmm. Ok, let's go with Empire Reimagined as a series. I would have the original cast as their ages from the original films. But then---I would actually have Hayden Christenson as his current age with lots of cool facial scars since he's supposed to be somewhat healed in my AU. Madeline Hatley would be Billie Piper. Matthew Scraps would need to be Tom Holland---he has all the right energy and can dye his hair red. Dr. Henley is Sam Neill. Sola Naberrie is Claire Foy . Myra Veers is Rebecca Ferguson. Obviously Temuera Morrison has to play Fox and Wolffe. ;D

Do I want to write something outside of fanfic---

These are such great questions. I could see it at some point yes. At this phase of my life, I know how much work and effort that takes. So I see writing fanfic as training. I'm loving it, it's valuable and I'm learning so much. And it's just fun. ;D But yes, I have thought about original work in the future. :D

i always have an outline! how rough it is depends on the situation importance of the scene, but i very much like to have a clear vision!

i love endings - mostly because they’re usually good and everything just feels so nice and wrapped up and just leaves me with a sense of peace.

Whiskey Bottles & Wild Flowers: Meet John & Ruth Wolfe

Their meeting felt like fate, and as hard as it is to believe, a cliché one at that. John was coming into a farmer’s market with crates filled with vegetables from his family’s garden when a young woman, head down reading a book, ran into him. The produce scattered on the floor, the woman apologized profusely at her mistake, and then drops to her knees to help him pick it up.

After that, they kept on running into each other. First at the store, then the laundry mat, and even on the sidewalk. They’d say a quick sorry, small talk for a bit before one or the other said they had to go.

One run-in, John had had enough of the small talk so he asked her on a date. Ruth agreed and that weekend, they went to the local diner. The first was such a great date that they went on many more before he officially asked her to be his girl.

The first year of college, Ruth and John struggled, him being in the Navy didn’t help. It was a long awaited leave that Leonard was created, they hadn’t planned for him, but that didn’t matter. A few months later John proposed to Ruth and that very night signed papers down at the courthouse.

After Leo, they tried for another, but had trouble conceiving, so it was pure luck when Quinn Penelope Wolfe was born. Quinn’s birth was difficult and hard on Ruth’s body, and the couple were told that they couldn’t have anymore. Two years after Quinn and a couple of miscarriages, they had another little girl, Rebecca Joslyn Wolfe.

John and Ruth knew that the neighbors had kids about the same age as their son, but with everything going on, they never met. That was until their eldest was six, middle was four, and the youngest one in a half.

Leo, as he liked to be called, met a girl on the playground who had gotten hurt and like his daddy taught him, helped her. It was the beginning of a beautiful and disastrous relationship.

As the years gone by, and Leonard talked about the Navy, as three generations of Wolfe men had done, Cricket started to pull away. Then, after he had been accepted and even had a reserved spot in basic, that’s when things really turned to shit.

John nor Ruth knew about the Pruitt’s taking their daughters’ letters and hiding them, it really upset the couple when they let Leo take the blame for their decision. John and Ruth encouraged their children to follow what they wanted, and not let others hold them back.

So it wasn’t very surprising to his parents when he decided to graduate early and go to basic. What they didn’t know, but learned later, was that the children had made a pact to graduate together. Ruth chewed him out for that, a man is only as trustworthy as he is honest.

When Leonard and his friend came to visit, Ruth and Katherine tried to stay out of it, but it was hard watching their children be so blind to what’s in front of them.

The mothers waited for the other women from both families to recruit them to the cause before they meddled. It mostly payed off in the end, because Leo & Cricket had finally said they loved each other, but of course her stupid son had to ruin the perfect moment.

After the big blow out, it took weeks, but both mothers convinced Duckie & Cricket to go visit San Diego, which ended up working well for both young women. Every once in a while both parents get a letter from their children and updates them on their lives in Fighter Town.

Whiskey Bottles & Wild Flowers: Meet Quinn ‘Daisy’ Wolfe

Quinn was the middle child of John & Ruth Wolfe, her big brother Leonard being the first and Rebecca, or Becks being the baby of the family. Quinn could easily be labeled as the smartest Wolfe sibling, being in all AP classes in High School and College.

She graduated in the top of her class and could go to any Ivy League school she wanted. Daisy knew since a young age that she wanted to help the animals on the farm if they got sick or injured, so when she picked her college, she went to study to be a Vet Tech.

It was weird being away from her family while going to school, but quickly got over it after meeting a sweet boy from her biology class, Spencer. Since that first day of class, the two were inseparable.

Spencer ended up dropping out due to family problems, but supported Daisy in her continuation of learning. When she had graduated a year later, they got engaged and a couple of months after, had a small wedding at the Wolfe Family Ranch.

The couple had agreed to buy a small farm house close by so they could still help on her parents’ land. Even though Spencer wasn’t a farm kid, he took to it like fish to water. He helps John around the land and office when needed.

Daisy helps her father around the ranch too, when she’s not at the office, doing chores with her sister and husband. She usually gets yelled at by her father when Daisy works with her husband, they get distracted easily and run off to be found later with jumbled up clothes and ratted hair.

A week before Leo & Rick came to visit, Daisy and Spencer had told the family and close family friends the good news, she was pregnant. She wasn’t far along, but they couldn’t wait to tell.

When her brother and his friend had arrived at the ranch, Daisy ran up to him and as she hugged her brother as tight as she could, she told him that he was gonna be an Uncle. Leonard, the dunce, looked confused until it finally clicked. It had the family laughing and leaning on each other for support.

Daisy nor Chatter knew the reason on why Cricket was mad at their brother, but they also knew that he was an idiot. As far as she knew, he said something hurtful to her before he left for basic. They always wrote to Leo, but never asked, it wasn’t really their business. But you couldn’t blame them for being curious.

It was a shock when Beau & Katherine told Leo that they took the letters that Duckie & Cricket wrote to him. He came home that night and slammed the door, which he never did.

Daisy was one of the first people to see the change of their relationship as they grew up. Even at fifteen, she could see the tension they had for each other. Daisy & Chatter always came up with schemes to try and trick one or the other to say what they felt, never worked though. 

It really hurt to see one of her friends go through a heartbreak without a relationship. She couldn’t put into words how bad she wanted to slap Leo over the head and tell him to tell her how he feels. So when Leo comes home this time, she teamed up with all of the Wolfe and Pruitt women to finally get those too together.

Whiskey Bottles & Wild Flowers: Meet Rebecca ‘Chatterbox’ Wolfe

As the baby of the Wolfe family, Rebecca pretty much got away with anything. After Daisy was born, Ruth was told that she couldn’t have anymore kids, and as the couple tried for two years were blessed with twins. Unfortunately, she lost one and a couple of weeks later, lost the other.

It saddened John and Ruth to think that it just wasn’t in the books to have another child. A year later, after excepting the fact that they had two beautiful children and wouldn’t be blessed with another, a miracle happened, a rainbow baby.

Ruth was put on bed rest the whole pregnancy and John nor the kids would let her do anything to chance a miscarriage again. So when Ruth went into labor they were worried something would go wrong.

Rebecca Joslyn Wolfe was a perfect in her parents’ eyes. She was the pride and joy to her family, and from the time she could talk, no one could get her to stop, giving herself the nickname Chatterbox, or Chatter. In school, she was a little social butterfly.

All her teacher’s comments were, ‘Needs to talk less during lessons.’ Or something in that manner. When High School came along, her socializing benefited her. Chatter was in the ‘popular kids’ clique, and a cheerleader too. Chatter was also a good student, straight ‘A’s’ on almost every report card. Like Daisy, Chatter was smart, and had been accepted to many great schools.

As college classes started, Chatter didn’t know what she wanted to major in, unlike Daisy when she graduated. It took a couple of years to really find something that she liked, and so she picked Early Childhood Education.

Chatter was in constant communication with Leo. Every week a new letter, telling him about her days and other things she wanted him to know, five pages worth sometimes. Whenever Leo could write back, he did with fewer pages. She understood though, he was busy being a solider and had other family members and friends to write to too.

When the secret ended up being unveiled, that Beau and Katherine had held the letters from their daughters, Chatter wanted to finally get those two idiots together, she saw that after Cricket had forgiven Leo, it was like time hadn’t passed, they acted like high schoolers again. Daisy, Chloe, Duckie, and her had a few tricks up their sleeve, but after many failed attempts, called in the big guns; Ruth & Katherine.

The Mama Bears took charge and with the help of the others, had a success. Kind of. They confessed that they loved each other, but Leo couldn’t put her in the position of having to pick him or her family. She knew from having family members from the past in the Navy, that it’s hard to have a relationship when you’re so far apart.

John and Ruth had been through this problem and they got married at nineteen, it should be easier at twenty-three and twenty-four. Issues occurred and the aviators left earlier than needed, everyone was worried about what happens next for the young couple.
