Hope you had a pleasant Christmas Day Ivor. The WWI amputees film is a BBC one-off drama which I remember from its first showing. If my recollection is correct, it was directed by Anthony Sher, who died recently. He would have advertised for young amputees, his lead actor is LAK. I think Anthony was a devotee. What do you think?

My family remember when it was shown on the BBC as, today, I let them watch the video that I blogged.

With my very long left leg it was agreed that when I use underarm crutches I have a very similar gate to Glaswegian Jamie !!

AS did direct the production although I gather he only had a quite small acting role - apart from massaging Jamie's left stump !!
