Today's manicure was SO FUN to do! Slowly but surely I'm getting more and more comfortable doing glitter placement. And if the base polish for this one looks familiar, it's what I used for the drips in this Halloween mani. I knew when I used it then that it was a knockout, but seeing it as a full mani helps me really appreciate how rich the color is. This is Perhaps a Christmas Gourd from Wildflower Lacquer with glitters from DarlingDollCharm on Etsy.

Today's polish (nail art?) was very interesting. I've seen many color variations of this dripping blood/goo/ice cream design in dozens of nail art tutorial videos. I've never seen it irl though so I never realized the problem inherent to this design: it only looks like drips when you hold your hand out palm facing away. So when I take my usual pictures, it looks like I have hot rod fingers instead of dripping blood. 😂 I REALLY loved the contrast between the red and the matte black though. What do you think? Hot rod nails? Blood drips? If you've done this design, did you have this same issue? Please tell me someone did! 😂 This is Perhaps a Christmas Gourd from Wildflower Lacquer over Void from Bee's Knees Lacquer and Matte Taco from Holo Taco.
