The Red Tour Sydney December 4th 2013

Today marks five years since I got to witness my favourite singer/songwriter, role model and inspiration, @taylorswift, live for the very first time. The red tour Sydney show held on December 4th 2013 will forever hold a special place in my heart as it was the very first time I got to go to a major concert and the very first time I got to witness one of my favourite singer/songwriters live. I'm forever grateful that it was Taylor that I got to see live first because she's the person I've been a fan of the longest. I'm forever grateful for my mum and dad for making this dream come true and making me a very happy girl on my 13th birthday (omg I just realised that it was my 13th birthday when they gave me tickets to her show) and I'm forever grateful for my mum who took three days off work so that she could be the one I saw taylor with and for allowing me to have three days off school for this to happen. Thank  you, thank you, thank you to Taylor and my parents for making this happen.

Although I don't have any photos on my laptop or phone to reminiscence that night with you guys because they're on my wall, my ipod and my mum's camera so apologies for the fact that I have no proof I went lmao.

Taylor, I hope that one day, whether it be the next era or one of the many eras that follow, I get to meet you and thank you for everything in person.

I can't wait to see what TS7 has to bring!! Here's to many more eras and memories to reminiscence on!!

Exactly 3 years ago today, I experienced one of the greatest moments of my life. Red Tour was amazing on it’s own but seeing Tay so close and her noticing me was one of the most amazing experiences ever. I missed out on the Speak Now Tour and was absolutely devastated since Taylor had been my idol since I was 7. Then going to the Red Tour and having her acknowledge my existence made it all worth the wait to see her. These 15 seconds never fail to make me smile. In that moment, I was so happy and carefree, to be completely honest, I acted like a complete fool (Mum was just as bad as me I swear) but I was happy and I never want to take moments like these for granted. The one thing I wish I did was try and say thank-you or i love you in that super quick moment but I had never come that close to any of my idols before so I just screamed hahaha hopefully Taylor knows it was a squeal of happiness. Hopefully one day I will be able to tell Taylor what she means to me and how much she has helped me through life. My friends always came and went, hurt me and tossed me away but Taylor was always there waiting for me when I came home crying. I will never be able to express in words how thankful I am to Taylor for writing songs that gave me comfort when no-one else did (besides mum of course) Without her, I would be a completely different person now and I know it wouldn’t be for the better. So happy 3 years Taylor! Of our brief but extremely meaningful (to me at least) meeting. I love you so much, thank-you for making me who I am today @taylorswift
