Writing as Therapy
Tumblr media
Writing is an act of expressing the infinite using words, transforming the unknown into the known, and finding agreement with what is being written. It is akin to coding for coders or creating art for artists. Therefore, instead of solely focusing on the technical aspects of writing, let's explore the psychology behind it to enhance our skills.
First and foremost, access your mind. Tap into your experiences, knowledge, and memories. Recall every minute detail that could be helpful for your write-up, or gather information from various sources such as the internet or books, especially if the subject is new to you. Your mind is a powerful tool, and even with limited data, you can make great observations and organize your thoughts effectively.
Next, understand the motive behind your writing. Regardless of the topic or subject you choose, approach it as an opportunity for self-evolution and self-expression. Your work should reflect who you are as an individual. Arrange your ideas in a chronological order that leads from the "new you" to the "old you," showcasing your growth and development throughout the piece.
Trust your intuition. While knowledge and experience play significant roles in writing and forming a thesis, it is essential to have faith in your intuitive sense regarding the information and experiences you possess. Your intuition acts as a guide in the vast world of words, helping you make decisions and shape your writing with confidence.
Consider adding a twist to your writing. A mere drop of ink can spark a million thoughts, but it's crucial to do it in the right way. Think about what similarities and differences you can bring to the table compared to the prevailing writing styles in today's era. Offer a unique perspective or present your ideas in a thought-provoking manner that captivates readers' attention.
Remember, your writing reflects your mind. The way you articulate your thoughts and ideas reveals a lot about yourself that may not be apparent otherwise. Treat your writing as a mirror through which you can assess and understand yourself better. Analyse your writing style, thought patterns, and the messages you convey to gain insights into your own mindset and personal growth.
By incorporating these psychological aspects into your writing process, you can elevate your skills and produce impactful and authentic pieces of work.

What is mental health exactly?
Tumblr media
When you hear the term health, you can quantify it by your physical well being in terms of height, weight, back pain or knee pain while measuring it.
When you add mental, what exactly does it consist of? Can you measure it? Is it genetically passed?
To understand this let us first understand various subtle components of our body, they consist of  Intellect, Mind, consciousness, and the sense of I ness.
They are the four factors driving mental health, you might question what is difference between Intellect and Mind. Intellect means “to know” and its function is to consolidate thoughts, make decisions, form convictions and it gives us specific knowledge of all our senses too. Its inherent features are doubt, convictions, sleep and memory.
As of mind its inclusive of brain and it’s characterized by function of generating thoughts and desires and governing all our senses.
Now the function of consciousness is of contemplating or pondering and especially focusing. Mental impressions and experience are recorded and recalled from it.
Lastly the sense of I ness it gives us the sense of personal existence and by nature its passive, dense and totally ignorant. When these four equations add or are regulated then we can define our Mental Health and gauge it accordingly.

The Brilliance of Contemporary and Abstract Art
Tumblr media
One of the stalwarts of contemporary art is the idea of abstract art, however, this postulation is still one of the most under-ratified, misapprehended and the most dilapidated concepts amongst all fine art subgenres. With inceptions in many different cultures, abstract art existed long before the name "abstract" was employed as a term for modern art.
Contrary to most of our pedagogy and the media, contemporary art, in my opinion, offers an alternate method of learning about the world and digesting information that promotes independent thought. No one can concede on its own set of rules, which ensures that it will always hold appeal. Art has incontestably always been there. Our adroitness to create new possibilities and make sense of the world comes from the stories we tell. That narrative and travel are both represented in contemporary art.
All the art that we observe being created in the present is collectively referred to as "contemporary art." Given that it continues to refer to works of art created decades ago, it represents the indisposition to look beyond the present and envision new frontiers for art creation. One of my favourite questions about contemporary and abstract art remains "Is it art?" since it frequently indicates that a piece of art is performing exceptionally well. It represents recession to me, but I also see the potential for invigoration, transmutation, and the inception of something new that will only become apparent in the years to come. It will bring new terminology with it that will enable us to move beyond the "contemporary."
