Since people clearly have very strong feelings about moving, here's another poll! Feel free to add context or elaborate. I love seeing people's comments and opinions!

2002 China, Yangtze, Three Gorges, a year before the valley was flooded. From Yichang to Chongqing, going up the stream, the ferry had many stops. At that time, every cities along the river were destroyed by hand in a huge mass relocation of towns and villages.

My family needs help relocating to a safer home
Hey guys, I need your help. My family has been going through severe trouble with constant burglaries & attempted kidnapping. We need help with relocating them and moving out as soon as possible to make sure my sister & mom are safe.
They been dealing with since October of 2022, with breaking in and stealing food and personal belongings, ranging from tech and clothes, but recently has become more severe straight up steeling food, personal information, breaking security systems, and eventually showing up my sister's school with attempting to kidnap her.
We've done all we could at this point to get the help we need and protect ourselves, but with how low their funds are, we had to set up a Gofundme for support to get them out as soon as possible.
Any amount of donations would be incredibly grateful, but if you can't, please share this around as much as possible. Thank you.

alright. time to do some e-begging.
so, you all know the news. america's going to fuckshit in a waste basket all because rich politicians wanna play god. and i'm tired of playing. i want to be safe and away from this nightmare. i'm gonna take a fellow trans person with me, to a country where we can both be safe and free to transition and live comfortably without having to go into hiding. on top of which, i'm putting in effort to find a disability-accessible country so that neither he nor i will have to worry about that getting in the way should a Situation arise.
every dollar helps, and with the dollar (or however much you care to spend) you will get a choice of either a tarot reading with a pendulum swing should you so desire, or a coloured sketch.
please help me get us both safe from our respective countries. thank you. so very much.

Help?
My girlfriend's best friend is in a housing situation that is not good for their health nor the other housemates' health. So, I'm trying to help raise funds to get them back to their family in Washington state. I'm hoping to raise $2k but if I hit $1.5k I'd be happy and extremely grateful! We're hoping to raise the funds by May. If you can help message me. Please and thank you!!
P.S. I realize this might not be the best way to ask but I've never done anything like this before so I wasn't sure what to do. I appreciate your patience with me though. @potorch
My girlfriend reminded me to add my PayPal https://paypal.me/dannibowen

See ya later ...
Alligators rule the natural world, but this big boy I caught working on his tan Wednesday may be in for an involuntary change of scenery soon.
A man who lives near this lagoon told me that once they grow too big for the neighborhood (10 feet long, he thought), they're moved to a more suitable location.
As you can see, this one in this photo is every inch of 10 feet. A gator that big upsets the natural balance and becomes a menace not only to his fellow lagoon-dwellers, but also to the nearby humans and pets.
Hilton Head's alligators make a fine living eating wading birds, snakes, turtles, fish and small mammals like raccoons and opossums and, so I’m told, the occasional wayward dog or small deer.
Alligators have been around for 65 million years and look about the same as they did when they roamed the earth with dinosaurs.
By the way, the proper word for a group of alligators is "congregation."

I am reaching out to urgently seek support in relocating my family from the dire situation in Gaza due to ongoing conflict. The safety and well-being of my loved ones are my top priority, and any assistance or guidance you can provide would be immensely appreciated. Your compassion and support during this difficult time would mean the world to us.
I'm so, so sorry to hear that, and I will offer any help in any way I can. Im also deeply regretful to tell you that i can't donate, as I don't have any money as of myself, but I will speak out as much as I can, and I tell you this with the deepest regrets in my heart. I'm so, so sorry that I can't do better.

i kind of imagined that the original inhabitants had mostly fled crimea since 2014 and otherwise were driven out. so maybe most of those being forced are the russians who had relocated to crimea since russian occupation.

Hi 😊
How to know when I am going to move out of my country?
For moving out and relocation, you should look at your Transit chart.
For temporary change of residence:
If you are moving to countries close to your native country or a different city in your country, the best time period within the year is when Transit Venus or Sun is in your 3rd House (surroundings, near travels, environment, neighbourhood).
The days in which the Moon is in your 3rd House are good as well as it can show more specific timing.
Try to avoid the period in which Mars is in your 3rd House as it may show moving into a dangerous neighbourhood, sudden problems with moving, drama with the neighbours or roommates.
If you are trying to move to a country that's far away, the best periods are the ones in which either Transit Sun, Venus or Jupiter are in your 9th House. This is also the best time to move for education-related purposes. It's also the best time for travelling, adventures, doing anything new and unfamiliar.
Transit Mars in the 9th House may show more courage, but it can also show encountering problems while moving or travelling. Transit Uranus in the 9th isn't as bad as some might say, but it is likely that if you move during the time it won't be permanent.
The days in which the Moon is in your 9th House are great for long-distance moving or travelling as long as there aren't any harsh aspects between the Moon and Mars or Uranus.
For permanent relocation we will look at the 4th House.
It is important to know the sign on your 4th House cusp and its ruler. (For example: You have Capricorn on the 4th House Cusp, the ruler of Capricorn is Saturn).
The absolute best time for relocation is when Venus or Jupiter are conjunct/trine/sextile the ruling planet of your 4th House (continuing with the example: Transit Venus conjunct your natal Saturn if you have Capricorn on the 4th House cusp).
Transit Venus, Sun or Jupiter in your 4th House are also a good time for relocation, changing your home, making changes to the home you're already in (redecorating, building something new, etc.).
For an exact day of moving, the days in which the Moon is in your 4th house are great unless there is an opposition between Moon-Mars or Moon-Uranus, which may cause sudden, unexpected troubles.
Transit Uranus in the 4th house may show a period in someone's life in which they relocate a few times or experience unexpected changes in their domestic environment (or family).
Transit Mars in the 4th House may show family troubles, problems with family members, problems with the living situation or people you live with.

After what felt like a lifetime waiting (but was actually far quicker than the anticipated processing time) my wife’s visa has been officially approved. Passport in hand, vignette inside it. She moves soon.
That feels unreal to say after all this time that she can finally move to the UK, but it’s finally happening.
So much to do before she gets here but I’m so excited ❤️

I'm not sure if you can weigh in here, but there was a recent situation here in Ontario where a family of coyotes attacked seven different people at different times, and the verdict was due to people feeding them, they lost their fear of people. Three of them were euthanized and now people are up in arms about why they weren't relocated. Correct me if I'm wrong, but fear of humans cannot be relearned, so relocation wouldn't solve the issue.
It kind of depends on the animal and how habituated to humans they are. Sometimes hazing can work if the animals haven't become too bold, but if they're at the point of attack people then they're probably too far gone and euthanasia is the only option.
Relocating animals like coyotes and foxes is actually very cruel. These animals are highly territorial and struggle to survive when removed from their home territory. It's also extremely stressful for them and many die shortly after release. It's also just shifting the problem onto someone else. These animals may be more likely to attack livestock or search out humans for food as they might struggle to find food in a new area. They may also be attacked by resident animals or spread new diseases to the animals already there. Foxes have been recorded travelling hundreds of miles to get back to the place they were taken from as they have a very strong homing instinct. I imagine coyotes would be the same. Sadly they tend to die on the journey back, usually either shot or hit by a car.
