I had such an amazing day! I went to a Renaissance Festival! I dressed up as an Elf! It was such a blast. I'll definitely be coming back next year!

I was at the Maryland Renaissance Festival this weekend and a good friend of mine helped me take these awesome pictures!

Single dad Eddie taking his 5 year old daughter to her first ever ren faire after making her a fairy costume only to see you dancing with your giant wings like maleficent and horns and his daughter runs up to you and demands attention so you bow to her and dance with her and Eddie’s heart is melting watching this beautiful stranger make his daughter’s experience so magical and he also can’t help falling in love with you when you get on one knee so you’re at her level and hand her an amethyst and say “this will give you good dreams. Make sure your daddy bathes it in moon water every full moon so it keeps working.” He can’t help falling in love with you when he tries to introduce himself and you cut him off with “don’t you know it’s bad to tell the fae your name? They will have complete power over you if you do.”

And he can’t help but to blurt it.

“My name is Eddie. Edward. Edward Munson. I don’t have a middle name, but I could go get one if you want. Right now. Legally. I’ll go to the courthouse right now and add one. It can be whatever you want, sweetheart.”

And maybe you can’t help falling in love too

Had to edit my costume a bit cause it was 80 degrees 🥲

My ren faire costume! I worked on these boots for like 2 months 😂 honestly they have alot of flaws cause it was my first time making something like this. But it was alot of fun and I had a great time. Im definitely going to try remaking them but hopefully better in the future 🌸✨️💖

I did order ears but they didn't come in time and I was to lazy to make them after working on the legs LOL

Some images of my Wizard In Training costume which I made and wore to the renfaire. This is me the day of. It was a bit chilly so I had to wear a t-shirt under it, just ignore that.

I took inspiration from both fantasy illustrations and historical clothing. The costume I made so far consists of 3 items: the tunic, the hood, and the cape. This was one of the hardest projects I’ve ever done.
