they're harmless, agile, and inconspicuous enough to do some basic monitoring. don't pay attention to the strange amber-eyed tiny animal perched on your bedroom walls, dear. don't delude yourself into thinking that its eyes seemed to shine in the darkness of your room while you teeter between dream and reality deep into the night. don't worry about how it seemed to chirp angrily whenever your friends come over, as if it's warning them from entering its territory.

rin definitely wants a big family one day :( has a girl as his first born when he's in his late twenties and she always steals the spotlight, propped up on her dad's hip and grabbing at his jersey after a winning match :( he's not big on social media, only ever posts his brand deals or official photos that just have to be uploaded, but overtime, a few pictures of you two on vacation or him with his little girl pop up on his feed :( (bonus: he asks sae to be his baby girl's godfather. neither of them wants to admit these are tears in their eyes </3 rin, because the wounds his brother inflicted still sting at times, especially during important moments like this; sae, because he knows all about it - and even though the brothers are on relatively good terms now, he's still surprised to hear the question.)

you have two boys next - with the same age gap as between him and sae - and the pressure gets to him. you can see he's scared, dreads the moment he notices his boys drift away from each other very much like him and his brother :( but he won't let that happen - and does anything in his power to teach them that when all else fails, they'll have each other still. always! definitely tears up a bit when they both follow in his steps, watches how his older son gives his younger the perfect pin-point pass that finishes in a beautiful, smooth shot :( tenses up a bit in his seat as he hears the boys play in their backyard and then - "oi, that was a bit shoddy, nii-chan!" "dad! was it? did you see it?"

no one would ever suppose that rin itoshi could make such a loving husband and doting father - but once they see it, there's no denying that he loves his family more than anything else <3

my lower leg and feet had been essentially marinating in rain water for like 3+ hours today, so i made myself some chamomile tea after a hot shower... and it got me thinking.

zhongli listening to you complain about how the rain was so cold and poured so heavily out nowhere, and he wordlessly starts to prepare a hot soak for your feet with a few drops of lavender oils.

zhongli who gently tells you to continue rambling about your day as he lifts your feet into the basin of hot water before settling himself comfortably on the floor, his hands softly massaging your skin.

zhongli who looks up at you with adoration as he felt you start to relax, who asks you whether the water's too hot, or if he needs to use more or less strength to massage your tired muscles, who chuckles in amusement as you blush and thank him with a shy smile.

zhongli who, if he could, would have built you an elevated pathway so you won't have to step on any puddles, commands the stones to rise and shield you from the rain and wind, and makes sure you get to your destination without any inconveniences whatsoever...

but alas, his days as a god has ended and he had decided to live as a mortal, so he chooses to follow what good mortal husbands would do when their spouse has had a rough day outside.
