KAORU HAKAZE – Accidentally making you jealous

Situated in the middle of the Ensemble Square lobby, you took a seat on one of the vacant couches. You were waiting for your boyfriend to walk you home like he usually does, but he was oddly late today. Normally, he would be the one waiting for you in the lobby, so you assumed that he just had more work to do. You didn't mind waiting for him. After all, he is an idol and he was bound to be quite busy rehearsing with the rest of UNDEAD or doing some other solo work.

However, it had already been 15 minutes and he still hadn't shown up. You were getting agitated especially because he hadn't replied to your messages asking him where he was. And the worst part? He has seen those messages too!

Today had been a draining day working at Cos Pro and all you wanted was to be with Kaoru, to be held and comforted by him. So why wasn't he here? Why wasn't he replying to your messages? ...Did he forget? No, Kaoru would never!

You decided to wait for him for another five minutes. If he didn't arrive by five minutes, you were just going to go home by yourself even if Kaoru has told you multiple times not to walk home by yourself at night.

Oh, if only he would pick your calls up too... which he didn't.

Kaoru never showed up within those five minutes you spared him. You sighed but attempted not to show your frustration. You walked out of the building and was greeted by an indigo night sky scattered with stars. It would've been nice to watch these skies with your boyfriend... if he were here with you.

You continued to make your way to the bus stop but came to an immediate stop. A few metres away stood Anzu, a fellow producer at Ensemble Square, accompanied by someone you knew fairly well - Kaoru.

"Oh, I get it," you muttered to yourself, annoyance spewing out of your system. "So that's why he never showed up."

Before the two of you started dating, people titled Kaoru a 'lady's boy' as he was constantly surrounded by girls and would do anything for their attention. But you've acknowledged that those days of his were over, it's the fact that before your relationship, he had this obvious crush on Anzu.

Is he still hung up over that? Is that why he's with her and not you? His actual girlfriend?

Were you just his second option?

You didn't know what to do at that moment. You wanted to cause a ruckus, to yell at your boyfriend, but your insecurities kept telling you that if you did, it would make him like her even more.

So you just stood there pathetically, watching them speak to each other with sweet smiles on their faces. At that moment, Kaoru turned around and his eyes fell on you instantly.

"(Y/N)-"

"I've waited so long for you, Kaoru. I texted you multiple times asking where you were, but here you are," you began. "You're so annoying. You should've just told me you didn't like me anymore..."

"W-Wait, what?" he questioned before realising the situation from your perspective. "(Y/N), did you not get my message?"

"You didn't send me a message at all."

Kaoru checked his phone and you were right, there were no messages delivered to you, but what you didn't know was that he did send you a message, it just didn't send due to an error. He explained that he was going to get you, but he did get caught up in a lot of work which Anzu was a part of. So when that was finished, he decided to walk her to the bus stop before retrieving you. After all, he stood by his words - girls shouldn't walk themselves alone at night.

After the two of you bid farewell to Anzu whose bus arrived, Kaoru continued.

"I'm so sorry, (Y/N). I had my phone on silent too so I didn't know you called. I was the one who should've called," said Kaoru with such sorrow in his voice. "I'm sorry. I can't imagine how you felt when you saw me here with Producer instead of you."

Kaoru has always been correct with your emotions and reactions, and he was spot on with this one too. Perhaps it's because he knows female emotions more than the average male as he was always with them during high school.

It was silent for a moment. Kaoru was getting increasingly nervous at how quiet you were being. He tried reaching for you, but you'd take a step back each time he did.

"Do you still like her?" you asked.

"What...? Of course not," he said. "The only girl I love is you, (Y/N). The only girl I will ever long for is you. The Producer is just a friend to me now, nothing more. You're all I ever want, all I ever see. I'm sorry that this situation has made you lose your trust in me. I will do better to show you that you mean the world to me."

Kaoru always had a way with words. He seemed remorseful too, for leaving you in the lobby. Well, you supposed he didn't do it out of malice, and his words were sincere.

You took a step closer to him. "You're sure that I'm not your second option?"

He wrapped his arms around you and you let him. "You were never an option to begin with. I just knew you were the one."

After all, when he saw you were there at the bus stop with him, his eyes instantly lit up just like the stars in the sky. You may not have noticed this, but everyone around you did. Kaoru only had eyes for you and you only.

"To make it up to you, I'll sleep over at yours tonight, okay?" he suggested in which cheered you up quickly. The two of you held hands throughout the rest of the journey back to your place, happy in each others' presence.

RINNE AMAGI – Purposefully making you jealous

You hummed to yourself happily, carrying a packed lunch between your fingers. You decided to surprise your boyfriend with a homemade lunch box since he usually buys himself lunch at the cafeteria, and it would be nice if he had a home-cooked meal from time to time.

You waited for him at the cafeteria with a smile on your face as you tapped on the lunch box excitedly. You couldn't wait to see his face when you surprise him with lunch. Imagining how he'll thank you by patting your head made you feel giddy.

When Rinne finally appeared, you stood up from your seat to call him over, waving your hands to get his attention. There wasn't too many people at the cafeteria, so he should be able to spot you without any difficulty.

His eyes lit up and his lips curled into a smile. "Ah," he said as he headed towards you.

As you opened your arms, expecting him to engulf you into a hug, he completely ignored you and passed by you without second thought.

“There you are, onee-san!” he greeted.

You turned around, confused by his behaviour. Your arms drop to your sides as you find him beginning to spread his arms wide for Anzu, the producer who was currently eating her lunch at one of the tables behind you.

You stand in your spot, completely speechless. Your hands began to tingle as your eyes threatened to spill tears.

"Oh..." you muttered.

You quickly walked away from your table, leaving the lunch box behind. Thoughts about your relationship with Rinne spun in your head. It wasn't as if he didn't see you. He purposefully ignored you and went straight to Anzu. But what about you, his girlfriend? What was he trying to imply by doing that? Is he already throwing you away for his producer?

"(Y/N)!"

A hand grabbed your wrist, forcing you to stop in your tracks. Rinne turned you around to face him.

"I was kidding!" he blurted out. "Sorry, sorry. I thought it would be funny!"

You stayed silent, your eyes focused on the ground. He didn't sound too sincere. Your hands clutched themselves into fists as your nails dug deep into your palms. Rinne was aware of this. He took your hands in his to slowly unfold them from their current position.

"(Y/N)~" he sang. "Come on, look at me..."

He held your chin up so he could look you in the eyes, but is surprised when he found out that those eyes of yours were coated in tears. Immediately, he brought you to his embrace, stroking your back apologetically.

"I'm sorry," he murmured. "(Y/N), I'm sorry."

The sincerity in his voice was apparent now.

You gripped onto his shirt angrily. "You're not funny..." you hissed. "That wasn't funny."

"You're right. It wasn't. What could I do to make it up to you, huh?" he said softly. He let you go so he could cup your face to plant a kiss on your lips. You avoided his affection by not returning the kiss. "You looked so happy when you saw me too... Argh, I feel really bad now."

"You should..." you mumbled, returning back to your table to show him the lunch box you made for him. "I even cooked you something for lunch too and this is what you pull?"

Rinne is able to read the room well, but he just couldn't help it. A laugh erupted from inside him. You were just too cute!

"Kyahaha, you cooked me lunch?!" he exclaimed excitedly. "Aww, that's so cute. My girlfriend's the best!"

He hugged you from the side in order to kiss you on the temple. A small smile appeared on your face, but you tried looking away so he wouldn't be able to see it. Rinne saw it alright.

"(Y/N), I love you," he said in his most serious tone. "I'm sorry for what I pulled on you, but let's enjoy this lunch together, okay? I'm hungry for what you cooked me!"

You rolled your eyes, but mimicked the grin on his face. Despite Rinne's childish antics, you appreciated how quickly he is able to make you smile again. The two of you eat lunch together, laughing at each other's jokes and stories.

When he was ready, Shu didn’t want to be impulsive or to make you uncomfortable by any means.

Their first kiss was far more than he expected, to the point where he held their jaw gently, kissing you deeply before parting away as he averted his eyes with a soft gaze.

Nagisa Ran

he didn't really think you would actually get mad at him for doing it but judging from your background and how you are it was only to be expected

his life shattered when he heard you say no gambling and no drinking and stuff

you would make him go do unit practices because laziness is not an excuse

although you do like his laidback side but you would often tell him not to sacrifice himself for the sake of others

Rinne practically cackles as he ruffles your hair, affection hiding behind the amusement that made his blue gaze shine. You were always so predictable, so easy to tease, so fun to get the reactions out of. Even now, you were scowling at him, running your fingers through the hair he had so easily mussed up, your cheeks puffed out.

"How many times do I have to tell you, that just because I am shorter than you does NOT mean you can mess with my hair however you like!"

"Kyahahaha! Then should I pick you up instead?"

You immediately distance yourself from him, giving him a glare that only makes him laugh again.

"Don't you dare."

"Alright, alright! I'm just messing with you."

Rinne finally stops laughing, seeming to calm down within seconds as he holds out a hand to you. His expression is one of remorse, his blue eyes pleading with you.

"Come back. Please?"

You hated how weak he made you. How easily he could sway you. How you could never stay mad at him.

How you could never actually hate the effect he had on you.

With a sigh of exasperation, you place your hand in his, allowing him to pull you closer. The breath leaves your lungs as he pulls you in for a bear hug, giving you a squeeze as he kissed your cheek.

"You know I can't hold back from teasing you."

"You could at least pretend to try."

You grumbled in response, returning his hug to show him that you were not actually mad at him.

"I am trying!"

"Liar."

"You wound me."

There's nothing but amusement in his voice as he tugs on a lock of your hair before letting go, smirking at you as his hand stays on the small of your back, keeping you close to him.

"If you keep wounding me like this, you'll need to take responsibility, you know?"

He leans in briefly, nipping at the tip of your ear before pulling back to chuckle at the way you blushed.

Niki and HiMERU snickering behind you, Kohaku looking tired, as you stare at the small doll, that once used to be Rinne Amagi, sitting on your bed.

You're honestly not sure what to think of it. How? Well, he always gets himself into crazy shit, what're you expecting? Why a doll? Again, what were you expecting?

HiMERU recalls that you have to kiss the nui in order to return it back to normal, but...

Why not Niki- he was the closest to Rinne out of all the Crazy:B members including you, no? How come the three made it your job to make sure your leader was all right?

Unbeknownst to you, this was apparently the plan all along. While you were prancing around doing work with your unit, Rinne would chase you, try to make you notice him in that way, try to make you like him. But whenever he made an approach on you, you were either too distracted to notice or brush it off.

So he went full lengths this time, making sure everybody else was on board. They too have seen Rinne helplessly scratch at your feet, begging for attention, and they were pretty much tired from him whining about it.

Back to you, you weren't sure what to think of this situation. You were definitely feeling butterflies at the idea of kissing him, basically. And even as a doll, his electric gaze irked you to the bone.

After being urged by Niki, you tentatively picked up the doll, gave it one final glare, and brushed your lips against the sewn mouth.

Which within a second turned into a pair of real lips pressing against your own in an almost rushed way. Your eyes flew open and you jerked your head back, but a large hand pressed against your back and pressed you close to none other than Rinne, who had his eyes screwed shut and a bright blush decorating his cheeks.

There are sleepless nights with him — perhaps on on a rainy day you'll often stay up late together, huddling close to each other for warmth in silence or during nights where he doesn't feel like sleeping — he'll make it your problem too and keep you up all night with him. (interpret that however you like.)

Yet today was rather different. He feels a certain emptiness inside his heart, all alone in the bed with his own thoughts forced to be kept to himself while the clock ticks every second he's awake. It isn't like him to feel this sad or sentimental, is it? The Rinne Amagi, the crazed gambler of Crazy:B, all alone with nothing but thoughts left keeping him awake at night.

Luckily, you came by just at the right time. Work had forced you to overtime more than you'd even like — it's way past midnight; at this time of the hour, you were sure Rinne was in the room, snoring loudly but you heard not even a sound from your shared bedroom and that rose an eyebrow of suspicion from you.

You didn't waste time though. You quickly put your stuff on the table and walked towards the bedroom — without hesitation twisting the doorknob open as you gently push forward into the room.

"Rinne...?" You called out, unsure whether he's in here or not because of how quiet he is. From the dimly lit light of the living room entering the room, you see him motionlessly in bed without even moving a muscle; what's even concerning is that he's still wide awake.

"Rinne, are you okay?" You ask again, slowly walking towards the bed and kneeling down besides on the floor beside it while gently poking his cheek.

"Rinne." You called out again when he didn't respond. You don't know whether he's doing this intentionally or not, but you're really not enjoying it very much.

"Rinne!" You whisper yelled, and finally he seems to respond. A loud sigh escaped his lips as he slowly shifts to his side to turn and look at you.

You look straight into his eyes and your eyes narrowed; softening at the sadness you saw the beneath blue ones. You weren't sure exactly why he's this sad, but it made you feel guilty about it even if you've done nothing wrong. Seeing him who is usually so loud and annoying sad in the middle of the night makes you uncomfortably shitty.

"Took your sweet time comin' home, did you?" He asks, his hand reaching out to gently tuck a strand of hair behind your ear.

"Are you mad at me for coming home late...?" You ask, your body tenses up slightly at the uncertainty guilt you felt, but you swallowed it all, not wanting to make it seem like you're getting the wrong idea yet.

"Not really, 'm really glad I have someone reliable like ya to call my sweetheart." His frown then suddenly itched into a smirk as he wraps his arms around you in a surprise attack and dragged you into bed with him without even thinking about letting you at least change into your pajamas first.

"Rinne, come on...!" You giggled, trying to squirm away from his tight hug that kept you still with him on the bed.

"Ya kept your boyfriend waiting for so long and have the audacity to complain when he wants to spend time with you?" Rinne replied, squeezing you tighter in his affectionate tight hug while he presses soft kisses all over your face.

"At least let me change clothes first..." You tried to compromise while being suffocated with his overbearing kisses. On an occasion; on nights when he couldn't sleep — he'll give you all of the affection you could ever asked for that it becomes overbearing. But he is an overbearing person from the start; just as annoying as the first time you've fallen in love with him you can't help but let yourself melt into his affection. This is really what you needed after a long day at work.

"So, just stay with me for a while, 'kay? At least until I fall asleep. I couldn't sleep without ya by my side." His arms only tightened around your waist as he pulls you closer to his body and rests his head on your shoulder, inhaling your scent happily without complaints anymore.

Neither do you have any complaints left to speak of. It felt too nice, having him this affectionate towards you like this. Maybe... You'll stay with him for a while.

Hello, dear stranger on Tumblr. You may call me Cramathonn or Cram. I am just a silly guy who wants to write about his favorite characters casually, accepting requests every now and again. I prefer to be referred to with he/they/it pronouns, eventually the neos bomb/bombself.

Instead of sharing the fandoms of which I will most likely write/yap about, I will share the characters in specific, for I find it easier and less stressful for myself. That way, I won't feel obligated to write for charactes I'm not that interested in.

rinne loves every single thing about you. if somebody were to ask him why he's so deeply enamoured with you, he'd go on a tangent about how happy he is in your presence, about how your smile brightens his day, about how oh-so endearing you are, about how you're the one who completes him as a person.

he has never been afraid to show you how in love he is, always brazenly giving you his affection no matter who's around you both. now of course, this factor only intensifies on your birthday. on this day, he's more than determined to let you know that you're the most important person in his life.

as the sunlight peeks into your shared bedroom through the blinds, rinne's sleep is interrupted, but he's much too excited about what's going to happen throughout the day to sleep in. he glances at you who's peacefully asleep in his arms and he can't help the smile that graces his face.

he discreetly gets out of bed, knowing that he can't delay too much on his surprise since you're an early riser. cooking has never been rinne's strength, but with a month spent on perfecting your favourite breakfast (with niki's assistance, of course), he was confident enough to not ruin it.

the appetising smell of food cooking is what wakes you up and the absence of your boyfriend next to you in bed alarms you immediately. you get up and make your way to the kitchen, beyond surprised when you find rinne in an apron placing food on the table.

"happy birthday, baby," he says with a grin on his face, walking towards you to engulf you in his loving embrace. his smile widens further when you thank him for having cooked breakfast for you and he places a chaste kiss to your lips.

he leads you to sit at the table where your food is and he watches with a lovesick gaze as you dig in happily, complimenting him about how well it was made. he can't help but kiss you again after you finish your meal, pulling away only to pepper kisses all over your face and hear you giggling.

when you smile warmly at him, it's like his world stops completely to admire you. rinne decides at that moment that would do everything possible to see your beautiful smile for the rest of his life.

he loves you more than anyone, more than he had ever thought was possible. he's completely and utterly infatuated by you, and he knows that he'd do absolutely anything for you, the love of his life.

mayoi absolutely loves you and how small and cute you are! he likes holding you and having you in his lap, and he's known to play with your hair a lot. you two have a huge height difference and he loves taking advantage of it.

he absolutely hates being in crowded areas, so for yours and his own comfort, mayoi takes you through the various tunnels and vents he knows of. it's pretty scary at first, but with him around, it's easy to adjust to.

if he absolutely has to be out in a crowded place though, mayoi's got one arm around your waist, holding you so close that you two are practically glued to one another. the thought of losing you in such a terrifying place was awful!!

on another note, he actually kind of likes going out shopping with you! he gets to choose outfits for you, even if you never end up buying anything. he just loves seeing you looking cute in something he chose especially for you!

☆ — REi SAKUMA !!

although he never says it, rei thinks you're absolutely adorable. fawning over you is common from him, but he very clearly holds back if he thinks he'll make you even the tiniest bit uncomfortable. is calling you cute allowed?

he enjoys cuddling you, because you fit so snug into his arms, it feels more like he's got an oversized cat than anything. he would be lying if he said he disliked it, because getting to nap with you like this is his favorite part of the day. plus, you take up less space in his coffin!

rei himself isn't a huge fan of crowds. he would sacrifice that preference when at a Knights concert, but any other time? he would rather avoid it. and he knows you feel the same way too, so he usually carries you around everywhere when you're in a heavily populated area.

he has and probably will continue to drag you to Knights concerts with him, though. although he's not the strongest, he's known to occasionally sit you on his shoulders, but that only lasts for about half an hour until he's just completely worn out from it.

☆ — RiNNE AMAGi !!

how do i put this..? rinne shows affection in such a way it's almost startling to you. he picks you up, he throws you at couches, he drags you around whenever he sees something that excites him.. honestly, he's just so hyperactive it's insane.

crowded place? do not fear! he's got you swung over his shoulder in no time, speeding forward to your desired location faster than you can say his full name. it's terrifying at first, but because he's pretty tall, you barely end up bumping yourself into other people. still, it concerns you that you're kind of just flying around there.

as expected, rinne is also the type to make fun of your height. you can't go a day without hearing him pick on you for it, so much so that you're not even angry at him anymore and have instead resorted to making fun of him for being tall. and then the debate of which one is more ideal starts..

he picks you up if he wants to hug or kiss you. he absolutely could bend down, but it gets a reaction out of you when he suddenly lifts you up and starts leaving kisses all over your face. he's affectionate and he'll find any excuse to show that to you.

When Rinne Amagi, leader of Crazy:B and king of troublemakers asked for you to come with him someplace, the signals were basically blaring inside your head. Not that you actually had a choice, seeing as he already had an arm around your shoulder and started dragging you with him, either not hearing or just straight up ignoring any words of protest coming from you.

To say you didn't like Rinne could be quite the understatement. He'd always do these kinds of unreasonable things, and just expect for you to play along. You know that getting riled up is exactly what he wants, but it's not like you can just bottle up your grievances against him! Even now, he can just squeeze you in tighter as you try to flail around to no avail.

When you realized that trying to escape was just a waste of energy, you decided to just hang your head low and follow his lead. Still though, it did make you a bit embarrassed to be this close to Rinne. Sure, he was crass, loud, and did nothing but cause problems for you; but you know that it's not like he ever did anything with purely bad intentions, and if it really comes down to it, he was objectively a pretty attractive guy.

You quickly dispel such thoughts, realizing that such an intuitive person as him could probably find out what was on your mind if you linger on it for too long. "Amagi-san... Where are we even going?" A sigh made its way out of your mouth at the end of your question.

"Come on now, we're best buds aint' we? Just call me Rinne already!" He lets out that signature hyena laugh of his and you wonder when exactly he started considering you a 'best bud' of his, or maybe he was just trying to get a reaction out of you? I mean, sure maybe to other people you two would seem close, but you know within yourself that you did not like this man at all. You try your best to keep a poker face, and it seems like it was good enough to dissuade him.

"I made it big at the pachinko machine earlier! So now I gotta spend all this cash while I'm still feelin' the high!" Your face sours at that, partly wondering whether or not to even bother scolding him on that awful outlook. When Rinne suddenly stopped, you looked up to see that the two of you were at the entrance of a nearby mall. You sighed again; he really was about to spend his money, wasn't he?

He brings the two of you to the first store he could lay his eyes on, which seemed to be cute store full of plushies and other toys. He grabs a bunch of random stuff off the shelves and shows them to you, his sparkling eyes catching you off guard. "Hey, which of these do you think otouto-kun would like?"

When you look at the things he was presenting, it was quite difficult to make a choice, seeing as he just grabbed all sorts of things. "Hmm..." You took a good look at everything, before coming to a pretty sound conclusion. "If it's your little brother, he'd be plenty happy with anything just as long as it was you that got it, wouldn't he?"

Rinne ponders on your words for a bit, his finger on his chin as he makes a comical thinking face. "I guess so. Still, what looks good here?" He nudges the things back at you, and you take another look at them. There were a bunch of kids' playthings like action figures, dolls, cars, and plushies. Jesus, how old was the target demographic that Rinne was going for?

"I guess this? It's got a sketchy looking face, like you." The fox plush you were pointing at did have quite the strong resemblance to Rinne, and while you'd never admit this next part, it actually looked quite cute. Rinne turned the plush in question to look at him, imitating the dumb smirking expression it had. "cute."

Your eyes widened when you realized what you just said, but you start to thank every known God in existence as it seemed like Rinne didn't hear you. Rinne then turns to look back at you. "What's up? Somethin' on my face?" He moves a bit closer to you, pretty much forcing you to look at his face. When he's up close like this, you really can't help but admire how handsome he is.

You can feel your face start to heat up and decide that literally nothing would be worse than having Rinne see that. "Huh?! Hell if I know, go look at a mirror or something!" Before he could even reply, you brisk walked all the way out, leaning against a nearby wall. You were quite curious as to what he was going to end up buying though, seeing as he showed you some pretty childish options for his younger brother.

You start massaging the space between your eyes, when you suddenly feel a hand on your shoulder. He didn't even seem all that troubled by how you shouted at him earlier. "Alright! Next stop!" He holds you by the wrist and drags you to a jewelry shop, letting you sit down on one of the chairs as he looks at the stuff they had on display.

When you realized this might take a while, you decided to go check some of the stuff out too, seeing some reasonably priced accessories like necklaces, rings, and such. They seemed like the type that Rinne would often wear, so you wonder if this was a shop he frequented.

Your eyes land on a pendant that had a modestly sized jewel of your favorite color on it, making a mental note to come back to this place soon once you had some money to spare. You decided that it would probably best to go back to Rinne, turning around before bumping into something.

You look up to see that Rinne standing right in front you, and you wondered just how long he was there. "Uwah?! What do you think you're doing?!" You quickly made space between the two of you, taking a few steps to the side. Rinne's eyes linger on what you were looking at for a few seconds, before he let out a small chuckle.

"I'll be here a while. I'm not sure what a good gift for MERUMERU would be, so just sit tight somewhere nearby would ya'?" He makes a shooing motion, signaling for you to go and find something else to do. A part of you was kind of disheartened at that, a slight frown appearing on your face before you did as he said.

You were walking around aimlessly, though still close enough to the store so that Rinne could find you easily if he were to finish soon. Though the day has been quite hectic so far, you can't say that you completely hated it. Sometimes you wonder why Rinne even hangs around you, compared to him, you found yourself to be a total square. You can't even admit to yourself that you like him, and you treat him badly because of that.

What if one day he gets tired of that? Of you? To try and shift your thoughts, you slap your cheeks more forcefully than you wanted, having to wince in pain at what you just did. "Ugh... Stupid Rinne." You cover part of your face with the back of your hand, knowing full well that you were blushing quite a bit.

"Oh? Turns out you can call me by my first name!" Your jaw drops when you realize that the worst possible person to have heard you, just heard you. Your mouth starts making all sorts of weird sounds as Rinne pulls your hand down, showing your blushing face to him in all its glory. "Wouldja' look at that? You're way cuter like this, you know?"

Rinne puts on his iconic hyena laugh as he started to poke your cheeks, making you even more embarrassed than ever. "Come on, aren't you gonna' yap at me like usual?" Rinne was more than ready to play this game for the long run, until he realized your eyes were starting to water. "I love you."

"HUHHHHH?! Someone starts crying and THAT'S the first thing you say to them? Just how stupid can you be?!" Rinne didn't even give you time to react before putting you in a headlock and giving you a noogie. "Are you an idiot?! What are you doing!"

"Kyahaha! That's more like it! Can't have you cryin' on me on our first date now can I?" Ugh, just what is this guy talking about? You wanted to complain some more, but you suddenly realized you didn't even want to cry anymore; let alone feel sad. Not that you'd give him any credit for this, seeing as he was the source of your grief to begin with. He lets you go, rustling your hair a bit before a more serious expression appears on his face. "I love you."

"I heard you the first time!" You don't really know why, but you can somehow tell that he was being serious. He's trying to hide it, but you can see how his hands were shaking ever so slightly, and how the tips of his ears were just the slightest twinge of red; though that was hard to make out because of his hair being a similar color.

"I love you." He repeats like a broken record, his piercing blue eyes not wanting to stop looking at you for even a second. "I lo-"

You put your hand over his mouth, your heart not being able to hear that phrase even just one more time. "Okay! I get it! Stop saying it already!" You can hear his muffled voice try to sound out another 'I love you' and you suddenly feel like punching him in the face instead of giving him a proper answer.

You close your eyes and take a deep breath, needing what little help you can get in order to mentally prepare yourself for what you were about to do. When you decided you were ready, you pulled your hand away from his mouth, looking him in the eyes. "I'll only tell you this once, so clean those ears out and listen up." Rinne's eyes start sparkling, and you suddenly feel a whole new level of nervousness. "I love you too, you big idiot."

You were preparing yourself for whatever it was he would do next, not sure if he would pull you in for a hug, or scream at the top of his lungs, or maybe even admit this whole thing was an elaborate prank. But when none of that happened, you couldn't help but raise an eyebrow at his relative silence. "Hey, Earth to Rinne? You there?"

You shake your head when you receive not even a nod in response. "You still need to finish shopping, don't you? Come on." You realized by now that he probably only came here to buy gifts for his friends, and probably made you help him pick out gifts as a pretense for going out with you.

You turn around and try to look for a good shop for the two of you to visit next when you suddenly feel something around your neck. You tilt your head down to see that the pendant you were looking at earlier was now situated on you. Then, you felt something placed on top of your head, grabbing it with your hand to reveal that it was the fox plush that you found rather cute earlier.

You sighed, finally realizing what was going on here. Rinne probably intended on buying all sorts of stuff that you wanted and then giving them to you as a gift at the end, but without making it obvious to you by disguising it as gifts for his friends.

You grabbed Rinne by the wrist, taking the initiative this time as you point at a nearby shop. "Well? What are you waiting for? You won it big right? I'm not letting you go until I squeeze every last penny out of you!" This time, it was Rinne letting out a sigh as he got dragged from place to place, his wallet bleeding more and more as the day went by.

When Rinne had not even a single cent left, the two of you found yourselves absolutely swarmed with an innumerable number of bags and wrapped presents. Rinne would usually totally hate this kind of situation, after all, not having money means not being able to gamble. But being able to make you smile this much makes him think that maybe it's a price he's more than willing to pay.

"I lo-" Rinne got cut off when he felt you flick your finger right at his forehead.

"I get it, dummy. I'll be in your care from now on, then."

Yep, Rinne knew that he certainly wouldn't regret giving his all to you.

"Hey, thanks for helping me out with this again, Doll." Rinne said, fidgeting in place as he waits for you to finish applying his stage makeup.

You click your tongue at him, "I told you not to move! Do you want your eyeliner to be smudged?"

"... Isn't that what it's supposed to look like, though?" Rinne cocked his head to the side, smirking.

Looking back to the reference photo from the Helter-Spider performance, you frown. "What? No. That's the eyeshadow."

"Riiight..." Rinne rolled his eyes before he adjusted his seated position - wanting to get a little more comfortable so he could stay still. However, a thought had been nagging in the back of his head ever since he asked you for help on this look. "... Ugh, you'd think after me comin' here and workin' so hard to be an idol I'd get used to all of the beauty product stuff, but there's something about it that just doesn't click with me."

You offer him a reassuring smile, "It's not everyone's forte! It just takes practice, like everything else does. You already have the basics down... drawing a whole spiderweb on your own face can be a little tricky. I don't think you should be embarrassed."

Rinne opened his mouth for a moment, then promptly closed it again - his cheeks heating up as you got close to his face.

Ever so gently, you take his head in your hand, caressing his cheek before tilting it to the side. "Close your eyes for me?"

"Perfect... Good boy," You coo, uncapping your eyeliner pen and beginning to draw over his eyelid.

A small, flustered grumble manages to slip out of Rinne's lips, but he manages to stay still and let you do your work. After the first few strokes, he seems to relax a bit further.

Rinne would never openly admit this, but... he really does like getting this kind of pampering from you. Your expertise when it comes to make-up, having so much personal attention just on him, and the feeling of your hand cradling his jaw... it's all so soothing.

"You know what, Rinne?" You start, smiling at his tranquil looking face.

"... You know that I don't, Doll." Rinne replied, a small smile growing on his lips. "Other than... you love me?"

You chuckle, "Close." you whisper into his ear, playfully blowing on it. "I’m always thinking about that… What I actually was thinking was that I hope you never get better at applying your own makeup."

Rinne's eyes shoot open, his face turning a bright red from your teasing. "Huh?! The hell are you talkin' about?!"

“Well,” You give him a cheeky smile, kissing his cheek, "That way... whenever Crazy:B’s makeup artist cancels, I get to get up close and personal with the man I love."

Absolutely scandalized, Rinne nearly falls out of his chair, covering his cheek with his hand. "H-Hey! That’s playing dirty! No k-"

"No kissing before marriage? Yeah, yeah... you've said it before. Though..." You put the cap back onto your eyeliner and placed it on the counter. "I don't recall you complaining about my kisses last night..."

As you often enjoy doing, you had invited Rinne out to go on a shopping date. The two of you always have a good time together, trying on outfits and looking through all sorts of stores just to windowshop.

One of the (many, many...) things you love about Rinne is that he never shies away from showing what he likes, and what he wants. Whenever you see something catch his eye, you take little mental notes for future gifts. Rinne’s always in charge of carrying the bags on these little shopping dates of yours, but it’s a small price to pay for all the gifts you end up treating him to.

Just then, a wave of dizziness hits you, causing you to stumble forward for a moment before you catch yourself. “Ugh…” You cover your eyes with you palm for a moment – hoping the light-headed feeling will pass… even though you know it won’t. You seem to be having the start of a fainting spell.

“You doing okay, Doll?” Rinne asked, noticing your wobbly stance.

“Yeah, yeah… just a little clumsy – you know me! Too busy looking at my handsome boyfriend…” You fib, not wanting to cause him any concern.

Before you stumble again, your knees buckling, Rinne quickly reaches out to hold you upright. “You sure you’re doing okay, Doll?” he asked, concern reflected in his gaze.

You hesitate, not exactly sure if you want to tell Rinne the truth… it’d end your date early. Still, you’re in no condition to keep walking, especially not in the hot sun. “I… um…” you begin, embarrassment starting to settle in.

Not letting you continue, Rinne effortlessly lifts you up into his arms. “Y’know what, Doll? I decided I’m bored with shopping. Let’s head back to Niki’s and see if we can raid his fridge.” he winked at you, grinning.

As Rinne carried you through ES, you couldn’t help but feel a mix of embarrassment and warmth. With your head resting against his chest, you could hear the steady beat of his heart.

Once you arrive to the familiar apartment building, Rinne shifts both you and the copious shopping bags he had been carrying around so he can get his key to Niki’s apartment out of his pocket. Before he places the key into the lock, Rinne looks down at you – smiling. “… Don’t worry, Doll. I’ve always got ya.”

The swift glide of your pen on your unit’s newest album release poster brought a large smile on one of your fans’ face, patiently waiting to recieve her signed merchandise. You practiced your signature countlessly to the point of perfection to never disappoint your faithful supporters.

“Thank you so much for coming today! We hope you enjoy more of our music!” You chimed, gently passing the album to her hands.

“Of course! [unit name] just released this album a week ago but I’m already ready for another one! Keep up the good work, (stage name)!!”

She bowed in respect as you did the same, waving her goodbye as she left your booth. ‘That was the last fan for today,’ You thought, exhausted.

The sun was slowly creeping down whilst nightfall came. You watched as the staffs frantically began cleaning up the area, bringing the meet-and-greet to a close. Sighing, you rested a palm under your chin and sneaked a glance to the other group’s booth. Crazy:B, supposedly the group of idol troublemakers who wrecks havoc in the ES establishment. You quietly stared at a messy red-haired man, watching him chug a bottle of water. Ah, this is quite the predicament…How are you supposed to approach the one an only Amagi Rinne, the leader behind all of their antics?

A soft tap on your shoulder tore you away from your thoughts,

“You’re staring, y’know? Don’t tell me you’re interested in him of all people, (Y/n).” One of your unit-mates stated, following your gaze. Brushing her off, you slumped your head on the table.

“Ha?? It’s nothing like that, (unitmate)-chan! I just need to talk to him about something important, don’t you go getting the wrong idea now,” You huffed, raising your head slightly to glare playfully at her.

“Really now?” She sneered, amused, “Did you think I wouldn’t notice how your eyes would flicker to him every so often since the start of this event? You’ve barely been paying attention to our poor fans, I pity them!” She faked a cry, earning a groan from you.

“Excuse me, I was diligently giving love to my fans!” Heat was rising up to your cheeks, embarrassed to get called out so openly.

“Fufufu, you’re so cute when you’re embarassed, (Y/n)!!”

“H-Hey!” She ruffled your hair lovingly, to which you cried out. “Don’t mess up my hair!”

Whilst in the chaos of your friend teasing you, your eyes managed to wander again to meet cyan ones. Holy shit, he was staring straight at you, wasn’t he?

In a panic, you grabbed her wrist to stop her from embarassing you further.

“S-Shit! (unitmate)-chan, he’s looking at us!” You whisper-shouted. You were hoping to get some help from her but alas, all you got was a teasing chuckle leaving her lips.

“Hehehe, this is your moment, (Y/n)! He’s walking to you right now!”

Before you could protest and beg her to stay with you, she backed away swiftly to leave you alone in your seat. You hastily turned your attention back to the grinning man making his way to you as you heard her shout from the background, “Shoot your shot, babe!”

You cursed her in your mind. Taking a deep breath, you regained composure to finally come face-to-face with Rinne.

He slammed a hand on the table right in front of you, making you jolt in surprise. You gulped as he brought his face closer to yours—almost as if he didn’t understand the concept of personal space—overwhelming your senses with his scent.

Almost immediately, you shriveled back,

“U-Uh, Amagi-san, could you please back away a bit?”

He almost scoffed at you. Here he was, standing in front of another obvious admirer of his, and he was being told to step back? It seems like you were playing hard to get in his eyes, so there’s no way he would abide to that.

“Are you sure you want me to do that? I’ve noticed you eyeing me up and down just a few minutes ago, missy,” He smirked confidently whilst inching his face even closer.

“P-Please—” You tried your hardest to stop yourself from bombarding him with insults that would hurt his pride out of the goodness of your heart.

“You don’t need to be shy, I’m open for a relationship if you’d like.” He cooed and ran a gentle finger under your chin, forcing you to stare directly into his eyes.

He’s getting the wrong idea here! It’s not an issue of being shy but instead,

“Amagi-san, please—You reek of sweat.” You finally caved, telling the truth even if it’ll lessen your chances of success. You’re on a mission, and there’s no way you can fail. Not when the golden opportunity is right in front of you.

As expected, he recoiled in shock, taking full offense of what you said. A part of his mind wanted to smack you for that statement but he managed to brush it off, being a so-called bigger man that he is.

“You’re fiesty, I kinda dig that. Though, it’s rude to say that to someone you just met, you know?” He pouted playfully, carefully observing your reaction.

“You realise you have no right to say that when you suddenly invaded my personal space like that, right?” You retorted back with sarcasm.

Rinne laughed in amusement, he approached you expecting to see another giddy girl in love but this is certainly different. He was about to inquire about your strange actions when he heard Niki calling out to him.

“Rinne-kun! You should stop bothering the other group! (L/n)-san looks so done with you.” Niki roughly grabbed him by the arm to drag him away from you. The grey-haired flashed you a grin, “We’re sorry you had to deal with this dude, you could have saved so much energy.”

“Ugh, Niki, hold on, I’m in the middle of a conversation here-!” Rinne groaned in protest, still curious about you.

Wait. This isn’t how you envisioned it to be. There’s still an important issue you needed to discuss with him, you can’t let Niki drag him away!

“Shiina-san, wait! I need to talk to him!” You blurted out and reached for the red-haired’s wrist in reflex. Your small hands could barely cover around his whole wrist but you opted to atleast hold onto him firmly.

“Ah, is the wolf finally out of its’ sheep clothing? Are you ready to fall in love with me?” Rinne teased, flashing a toothy grin at your flustered expression.

It’s a little embarassing to be confessing this out loud—and in front of Niki too—but it might be the only chance you get.

Mustering up the courage, you blurted out,

“The truth is—I’m in love with your little brother, Amagi-san!”

At that exact moment, the world stopped for Amagi Rinne. He deflated in a cloud of dejection, being rejected outright, PLUS he lost to his own cute little brother, of all things. You took his unresponsive self as a sign to continue explaining, ultimately releasing your inner fangirl.

Grabbing your handbag, you shook various items out of it and displayed your most prized possessions on the booth table. Your eyes shined brightly as you stared at them, proudly showing off all of the Alkaloid—correction: Amagi Hiiro—merch you owned.

“I’ve been entranced with his performance since his debut in Kiss Of Life, he has such a unique singing voice and powerful dance moves, it’s a perfect combination!” You cheered as you held up a limited edition mini plush of Hiiro right in front of him. “He’s so adorably cute, I just wanna coddle him in so much love and affection!” You made a gesture of hugging the plush close to you, effectively showing him how much of a big fan you are.

Your face was bright in admiration as your mind wandered back to the red-haired boy you actually loved, not his other kin right in front of you.

“You see, I’ve got almost all of his available merch and I want to support him more than ever but I heard rumours about Alkaloid not having enough funds for more frequent lives unlike Crazy:B, but my agency just won’t let me reach out to them! Ah, how it must be so sad for Hiiro-kun, I’m gonna cry if he’s even just a little bit sad—” You sniffed slightly, imagining your favourite boy tearing up is enough to make your heart twist in pain.

You continued to ramble on about your love for Hiiro as Rinne stared at you in disbelief. Niki was already rolling on the floor, clutching his stomach over how much pain he felt as he laughed at Rinne.

“You’re off your high horse this time, Rinne-kun! Hahahaha, can’t believe your brother outdid you this time!” He was barely speaking properly as he laughed his ass off with tears in his eyes.

Rinne was about to smack some sense into him with some annoyed retorts but he was again pulled back into a conversation with you as you held onto his collar and pulled him down to meet your eyes.

“Amagi-san, you’ve got to help me!” You begged, giving him your best puppy eyes.

He’d be lying if his heart didn’t skip a beat seeing you asking for his help ever so kindly.

“Wh-What do you need?” He inwardly cursed himself for stuttering, feeling embarrassed for being in such a close proximity to you.

“Ever since I heard that Hiiro-kun’s brother will be attending this meet-and-greet with us, I couldn’t stay still.” You gently explained the reason why you were sneaking so much glances to him from afar. “Please put in some word to him for me, I’d like him to know I’ll be supporting him for his journey. So, he should be an idol with no regrets!”

Rinne sighed at your enthusiasm, he’s a bit conflicted. He’s still feeling slightly rejected but he’s also quite relieved to see that his brother is doing well enough to catch the eyes of another well-known idol. He rolled his eyes at you playfully, “Yeah, yeah, fine. I’ll relay that for you, missy.”

You jumped for joy and hugged him in instinct, simultaneously catching him off guard again. Heat rose up to his cheeks as you held onto the man tightly. It took him a few seconds before he could wrap his arms around your back to return the embrace.

“You’re very welcome, missy. I deserve a lot of praise for doing such a good deed, don’t you think?” He prompted for an answer from you but all he heard was a small muffled voice from your head smushed on his chest.

“Ahhh, I would be in paradise right now if only it was Amagi Hiiro’s body that I’m hugging right now—”

Cue another fit of hysterical laughter from Niki as he heard the words come out from your mouth loud and clear. “Gyahaha, it can’t get any better than this!”

Rinne pushed you away out of offence, hurt by your Amagi favouritism. He pouted, “I take it all back, I’m not helping you.”

You cried in fear, “Noooo! Wait Amagi-san, I’m sorry! I didn’t mean it!”

You used every bone in your being to convince him to help whilst Niki was on the brink of death from amusement.

Sleeping with Rinne, be it next to or in his arms, is practically creating an opening of trouble for yourself. This man is an absolute hazard in bed, lanky arms and legs strewn all over your body and the bed, blanket either completely his or thrown off to a corner of the bed.

When your first alarm sounds, you are the first one to stir awake, though you hear a muffled groan on his side.

When you poke his face to wake him up, his eyebrows furrow and he either turns to face the other side or bury his face further into you or the bed. Do not feel defeated however, he is just trying to make things difficult for you! #rinnecore

From another's point of view, Rinne is practically clinging onto you like some koala, like you're his lifeline. Though it wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that, you are the one who makes sleeping at night pure bliss for him; losing this privilege would be like losing the bare necessities needed for him to thrive.

You try to push him off, but his grip around your body only tightens as he begins to whine like a baby. He can feel your slight frustration growing and nabs at this opportunity to dangle the carrot right in front of you for just a while longer.
