Just saw someone saying that the main 4 in Riverdale getting in a polycule is the best ending that could have happened and when someone pointed out that Jughead is aroace and romance repulsed they got super butthurt bc "it was not cannon in the original comics" and "it was not canon in the show"
That's what I say, before following any alloallo person in fandom and listening to their opinions the first thing you need to look for is if they are normal about aspecs. Most are not
I can't even count the times when I see a queer person in fandom, usually so up in arms about representation, happily erasing aspec characters' sexuality

Also….Archie is not getting nearly enough crap for his asshole move and lack of self awareness.
Who the hell asks their fairly recent ex who they had moved in and planned a life with to give him (not even sell) an engagement ring.
For him to give to her best friend who he got with like two weeks after their break up. Which was just months ago.
Yes it was weird Archie, it was inappropriate, and Veronica who was already resigned to dying now had to deal with unnecessary emotions.
You love nostalgia just get a ring pop or propose without a freaking ring.
The absolute audacity.

Stranger Things S4 just rehashing stuff Riverdale did better seasons ago, yet still having people say its a good show really proves the anti CW bias in this society smh. An hour long Netflix original can laugh while a 40 minute CW show can merely chuckle......

just finished pll:os and I’m convinced RAS only knows how to do two types of mystery reveals:
1) crime is committed. on a surface level it seems like there could be a number of suspects that match the general physical description of the culprit, but the second you take a closer look at all of these potential suspects and their relationships with the victim, it becomes abundtantly clear that only Character X could be the culprit if the reveal is going to have an even remotely dramatic effect. subtle evidence continues to be built up in favor of Character X being the culprit, which would be fine except they’re the only potential suspect for whom evidence is being subtly built up for. the culprit is revealed as Character X.
2) crime is committed. there are plenty of potential suspects, many of whom have the potential be incorporated into a highly complex and well-thought-out plot. the culprit is revealed as Character Y, who has had a total of six minutes of screen time the entire season.

Wtf, why wasn’t TBK unmasked?!?
Why just kill him and then not show us who he was or what drove him to be a deranged psychopath?
Ugh.
What an unsatisfying resolution.
(Though the BettyxArchie fluff was much appreciated.)

I can see that the Riverdale writers watched Once Upon a Time recently. It's giving Storybrook.
