Deep Water Prompt #3190
I pick up a deity who promises that if I give them a ride, I’ll be able to reach the other coast without needing gas. But there is all sort of trouble that can find you, in three days with a god.

Whump Prompt #1206
Submitted by Anon - thanks!
I feel road trip whump isn't appreciated enough. There are so many avenues to explore: stoic whumpee gets car/regular sick while the van is packed with their found family, whumper shoves whumpee in the trunk, having to take care of a dangerously ill person at a rest stop for some reason. Plus, it's a great way to have whumpee and caretaker or whumper get to know each other better.

The darkness of this van is comforting but lonely. I wish you could be sitting next to me.
Warm thigh smushed up with mine, soft hand keeping mine safe, looking beautiful in the passing street lights.
But instead I sit alone, in the dark. The seat next to me unfilled, the street lights highlighting nothing.

Fernweh, a German word, encapsulates a sensation that resonates with many of us—the irresistible urge to explore far-off places, to wander beyond the familiar and immerse ourselves in the wonders of the unknown. It’s the insatiable longing for distant horizons, a craving that fuels the soul’s desire for discovery.
