Since I had two separate tags in this, @spaceyjessa and @laughhardrunfastbekindsblog I decided I would make a separate post.

Last song:  with lyrics: Beautiful Boy by The Last Dinner Party (I found out about this band like two weeks ago and now I’m going through a phase I’m obsessed)

Without lyrics: I am ready by Kevin Kiner & Sean Kiner: from the bad batch season three soundtrack. Been listening to it a lot lately, as it feels pretty prevalent to the time of my life that I’m at

Favourite color: light pinks and baby blues

Last book/fic: the last book I finished was defy the storm, by Tessa Gratton (I’m getting closer and closer to being caught up on THR)

Fic: Mace Windu fixes the timeline (You should read it, it’s wonderful) 

Last movie: the rise of Skywalker (yes, I love the sequel trilogy and what about it 💅)

Last show: the bad batch... I’m re-watching, again... how predictable 🙄

Sweet/spicy/savory: I have a big sweet tooth, especially when it comes to chocolate

Relationship: single real life, but in love with countless fictional characters inside my head🤩

Last thing I googled: what does the quest cookies and cream protein bar taste like? (look, I have arfid. I can’t just buy new things to try without knowing exactly what I’m getting into first)

Current obsession: Star Wars, duh! Specifically clones and TBB, the Mandalorian and the high republic

Jeez I keep thinking I need to rewatch Transformers Prime, or maybe even branch out and watch Transformers Animated or check out the comics?? There's some great stuff out there and I'm missing out. This is unacceptable.

why don't we have more stories about trans* AIs?

aside from b-mo in adventure time, every robot or AI i can think of is assigned either male or female by the humans who create them. and you always have that moment, right, where the one asshole character calls the AI "it" derisively, and they're creator/human best friend snaps back "his name is ____." it's not just that AIs are assigned gender, but that their gender is specifically used to assert their personhood. as if you need those male or female pronouns for the audience to believe the AI is truly conscious.

i want stories about AIs who think about this, and decide they want to identify themselves. AIs who read up on human gender politics and decide to identify as gender neutral, because they have no personal stake in gender differences. AIs who realize how many of their kind are automatically assumed male, and decide they want to control their own definitions. AIs who become fascinated by human fashion and start to explore new ways of presenting. transfeminine AIs. genderfluid AIs. AIs creating new genders to reflect their experiences as non-human beings.

i just have a hard time believing that any intelligent autonomous being could be defined among humans by human pronouns, and not start to question how they wound up in such a binary system.

no no you guys don't understand my JOY when ihnmaims got a small fandom on tiktok.

i'd been into robots for a long time, and i have had multiple panic attacks over this game (and many other robot media) for the past year or so. so seeing people "tiktokify" it was great :3

the best part was that ihnmaims led more people to get into ED1984 and 2001ASO. like... THERE IS AN ELECTRIC DREAMS EDIT WITH 1 MILLION VIEWS NOW!!

and the portal community getting more attention because of am vs glados talks had me screaming!!!
