BIOGRAPHY

Rosemary Josephine Reynolds was born to two loving parents in Bridgeport, Maine. She was a bit of a miracle child for her parents, as she was accidentally conceived many years after her sister was born. Her mother had been told she couldn’t have any more children, and yet here Rosemary was coming into their family thirteen years afterward. From a young age she had looked up to her siblings, especially Olivia who she saw almost like a second mother. The two fought a lot at first, but then became closer as time went on. Although, sometimes she found it hard to relate to the others as they were so much older than she was. At every point in her life her siblings were already several steps ahead of her. Even still, family had always been important to the young girl as she spent a lot of time with not only her immediate family but also her grandparents.

As a child she could often be found on her family farm. She loved to play around in the sheep pen and make sure all the animals were getting attention. The woman was a natural with animals from a young age, and used to say that she wanted to be a veterinarian when she was older. Her favorite animal of all was the horse that her father purchased for her, which she could be found brushing and petting multiple times a day when she got a chance. It only made sense that she eventually went on to enter horse shows with the mare, and won many awards. Each step of the way her family supported her how they could.

In high school, Rosemary’s interest shifted slightly. She became more involved in clubs at school, and started to have a pretty active social life. She was the type of girl that people couldn’t help but like to be around. While she spent time with her parents, she started to grow more independent and realized that she wanted to see what the world could offer her. The young woman set her sights on going away for college so that she’d be able to be her own person for a while. She’d thought about maybe going to school internationally, but decided against it as she was scared to be that far away from home.

Instead she ended up going to Emory University where she could be a few states away from her home, but still on the same side of the country if anything went too badly. Which was good because she made that multi-day drive home many times in order to see her family. In the four years that she spent in Georgia, she studied business. While there she also joined a sorority where she fell into the habit of drinking probably a little more than she should, and spent a few more mornings hungover than she wanted to admit to.

After finishing college, Rosemary decided to move back home. She wanted to put her degree to use and decided to become a wedding planner as she always loved attending weddings. She thought there was something magical about getting to help people out on the happiest day of their life. The woman had always been a bit of a hopeless romantic. She was certain it was from watching the love between her parents her entire life.

I’ve been waiting for an update.” With her sister, Liv had no problem coming out and asking her the question she had. “I saw you looking pretty cozy at the dance, so I hope it went well.”

Johanna’s features immediately lightened up as their blue eyes peer, in a see of people, a familiar face making sure everything was going smoothly. With a quick step, the music producer approached the young woman, tapping her in the shoulder from behind. “Excuse me, would you be so kind to point me to the Finest Catch competition?” then, a smile. “No listen. I have a plan. We get in together, one of us sabotages the rest and the other wins, we give Mal the greatest father’s gift of all times!” the music producer enthused, reaching over to hug Rosemary. “You got some time to catch up with an old friend that hasn’t seen you in over a week and missed you? We can get in some of the rides— to test them but also, have some fun.”

Eunomia slept like a rock. The healer worked over her while she rested and she woke, eventually, to peals of laughter and golden sunlight streaming into the birthing room. Nahida pronounced her able, and she found that she was able to stand and walk without help. A servant came to bring her pastries and fresh flower-scented tea with a wedge of lemon. Her body still tingled with the effects of the magic; though her body moved when she willed it and she wasn't in pain, she felt strange and tender and empty.

And, again, mostly, she missed her mother.

At first, she'd cried helplessly at the idea of bringing a child into the world without her family's support. Even after months, the pangs of anxiety she felt never lessened. But she found, when she stepped into the hall and was greeted with elated cheers and congratulations from half the living creatures in Rosehall, that she needn't have worried in the slightest.

The birth of a faerie child - of a High Lord's child - had caused celebratory commotion like Nomi had never seen. It was comparable to the breaking of Amarantha’s curse in Rhodes. After she managed to fight her way through the well-wishers, Tamlin informed her that they were expecting guests - representatives from the nearby villages were coming to Rosehall to pay tribute to Spring's new princess.

In response to her expression, Tamlin shrugged.

"If anything, this is your fault, my dear. Everyone likes you; they didn't care nearly so much when I was born."

Indeed - by lunchtime, the hall was swarming with faeries of all sorts. Stout dwarven-kin, nimble goblins, pixies and sprites, even tiny wil-o-the-wisps no bigger than the nails on her littlest finger. Wraiths and nymphs peeled themselves out of trees and ponds and sat themselves down for lunch in the gardens. The sentries and stabelhands joined the kitchen staff to help prepare meals for the travelers but many seemed to have brought their own food.

And with that, the gifts. Nomi accepted cuttings from gardens, little dresses and shoes and hats, music boxes, dolls and pillows and blankets, and all manner of more impractical things - a necklace of freshwater pearls, a loadstone, the branch of a cherry tree with a single, eternal pink blossom affixed to the end.

The other High Lord's, too, were prompt in their tributes. Helion sent a basket of fruits - pomegranates and oranges, adorned with rosemary, and other symbols of prosperity and longevity - and a handwoven blanket with the solar motif of the Day Court. This was Nomi’s favorite present. Thesan sent the most practical gift: a clever pair of looking glasses that were meant to be placed, one at the cradle and one on the parent's nightstand, enchanted so that they would know if the baby became fussy at night. Naturally, this was Tamlin's favorite.

Tarquin sent a set of seaglass windchimes to hang above Semele's cradle. Kalias sent her a practical winter coat - deep purple and lined with white fox fur, a few sizes large so that she could grow into it - and a matching hat, mittens, and boots. Eris sent a circlet of bronze and gold apple blossoms, which was very pretty though both Nomi and Tamlin agreed that they couldn't really picture Semele wearing such a thing.

The Night Court sent a note affixed to a bottle of wine. It read, "Good luck, you'll need it."

"Its not even a good vintage," Lucien complained when he saw this. He popped the cork and took a swig, swallowing bitterly. "Cheap bastard."

"No cursing in front of the baby," Elain scolded. Her smile was fixed to her face, though, and she promptly returned to cooing at Semele, who slept through all of this, somehow, and to Nomi's immense relief.

"You know," said Elain, leaning over to give Nomi one more peck on her cheek. "I don't recall nearly so much fanfare when Nyx was born."

"Typical of the Night Court," said a passing sentry, dispassionate. "Hide the lady's pregnancy til the last moment, then pretend it's business as usual."

"Its different here," Nomi agreed, shifting Semele slightly in her arms. She was heavy, and yet weightless, and soft. "What do humans do, when a child is born?"

Elain shrugged. "Oh, not much. It'd be bad luck to celebrate anything until they're about five or so - too old for faeries to want to eat them and such."

"No talk of cannibalism in front of the baby," said Lucien.

Luckily for all of them, Tamlin was utterly obssessed with his daughter and was cataloging her every expression or new experience, and told these stories with enormous pride to anyone who happened to stand in his presence.

31 March 1974 - Queen’s first headlining gig at London’s historic Rainbow Theatre. This concert will forever remain an epic moment in the band’s incredible, five-decade-long rich history!

The show was properly recorded and was later proposed to be the band's first live album, but ultimately shelved. It was eventually released officially in 2014.

Queen quickly sold-out the 3000-seat Rainbow (which cost just £1.20 per ticket) marked a turning point in the young band’s career – and secured Queen as one of the era’s most exciting new acts.

Freddie is seen in an elegant new white outfit at the beginning of the show, created by designer Zandra Rhodes. Rhodes explained in 2013, "I hadn't designed any menswear before then, but I realised he'd need a flamboyant look. It was a very exotic time for me, I remember Queen gave me tickets to their show in London shortly after I’d made the first pieces for them. You could imagine that white top onstage and it was just absolutely amazing. It’s always wonderful when someone puts on your clothes and just feels lovely.”

Rhodes also said, “Freddie was a hidden revolutionary in the fact that he dressed exotically and wore make-up. I think he was probably one of the founders of the androgynous movement in fashion.... The thing that’s so fabulous, is that Freddie in my white pleated top went on to become one of the iconic images of him. It’s incredible to be part of that history!”

“We’d done our support tour and then promoter Mel Bush came to us – he was a pretty top promoter at the time – and he said ‘I think you guys can headline the next tour’, and we were surprised,” recalls Brian May in the mini-doc.

“I remember thinking ‘Wow, that’s very quick,’ because normally you would support a few acts and build a following, and then you would go on your headline tour. But he said ‘No, I feel you can do it, you can sell out all these places’ and he gave us a big list – Newcastle City Hall, Manchester’s Free Trade Hall or whatever, you know all the sort of classic gigs that rock bands do, and he said ‘you can fill all these and at the end, we’re going to do the Rainbow.’”

The adoring fans who turned up for this iconic performance could have predicted that Queen would go on to become arguably the world's best and most successful rock group, although many more may have suspected it after this stunning show.

Here is a review by Rosemary Horide, a major force behind Queen's early popularity:

"What a night! It was a finale of the big Queen tour throughout the whole country. It was the conclusive evening for their reputation. Their lift was meteorical. So many people had challenged if Queen had the authority to play in such a prestigious place as the Rainbow. Freddie appeared in his new specially eccentric white "eagle's" costume, bouncing and miming with even bigger ecstasy than ever and sang even better than any time before. One couldn't believe it's the first time of Queen appearing themselves in such an important place. After a while they got used to taking advantage of the big stage. After two encores they left the stage during a big applause of the audience."

This phenomenal performance showcases Queen at their loudest, Rawest and heaviest. Roger Taylor is downright frenetic at times, his fills rolling like boulders. John Deacon is predominately a fingerstyle player With his solid and inspirational playing that helped them all to shine. And of course Brian May’s musicianship is precise and masterly, and the harmonious, melodic chemistry between himself and Freddie is undeniable. There’s no one quite like Freddie as his voice was electrifying and soothing like fine silk. A must watch concert for everyone.

In a 1975 interview Roger Taylor explained their choice of attire: "It provides a good contrast, I think, on stage. We like most of the actual colour, apart from the extremes of black and white, to come from the lights on stage" (in a mid-80s interview John Deacon reminisced about how Freddie and Brian dominated the songwriting in the early days but that Roger was very involved "on behalf of the overall image of the band and how to actually be a successful rock band").

After the show, a teenaged Simon Townshend, younger brother of The Who's Pete Townshend, told Freddie Mercury backstage that Queen were "much better than my brother's band." Freddie was thrilled with the compliment, even coming from a 13 year old. Interestingly enough, in a 2005 Uncut interview, Brian May declared his belief that The Who were the better of the two bands.

Many years later, Brian May reflected on playing the Rainbow: "We had a dim, distant vision of what Madison Square Garden might be like in America, but really no idea of what it was." He added, "After that, everything was a bonus. Everything was something which I had never even dreamed about."

The next time Queen would perform at The Rainbow was in November during their ‘Sheer Heart Attack’ tour and due to popular demand, a second sold-out night was added.

Camp Half Blood. First is the cabin leader/oldest unless the oldest of the cabin turns down the leader role. Demigods have become less frequent in recent years but every cabin has at least one occupant besides Hera’s cabin that is a tribute to the goddess.

Zeus: Cody Rhodes.

Zeus’ cabin is pure white, shadows appear to have lighting on them. Cody hates his father and regularly curses him, making a small camp away from a statue of Zeus to be able to sleep.

Hera: None, cabin is nothing more than a tribute. Constantly vandalized until Chiron told everybody to stop.

Poseidon: Roman Reigns, Mia Yim, Ava Grace

Poseidon’s cabin is much like a dock with walls built around it. A large fountain sits in the middle, one of many presents for Roman from his father. A small room appeared when Mia was claimed, to give her privacy. Roman has a trident from his father.

Hades: Malaki Black, Violet Giliath, Paige Bevis, Ruby Riott, Darby Allin, Rosemary.

The Hades Cabin is black with green flames lit on torches, the interior is also black, with beds lining the walls. Coffins used to be there but thrown out. Twins Paige and Ruby line their walls around their bed with band posters. Darby Allin had shelves installed for his skateboards. Malaki and Violet are co-leaders and as such each have private rooms.

Ares: Raul Mendoza, Santos Escobar, Joaquin Wilde, Elektra Lopez, Raquel Gonzalez, Leon Ruff, Adam Page, Dio Maddin/Mace, Keith Lee, Ember Moon

Ares cabin is painted dark red, the grounds alined with land mines, the cabin members usually like being paid in sharp things in exchange for being told where the mines are. Leon is constantly teased for being so small and skinny but his brothers and sisters defend him. Raul is the cabin leader due to Santos turning it down

Athena: TJ Perkins, Drew Gulak, Dominik Dijakovic/T-Bar, Sami Callihan, Jake Atlas, Mustafa Ali, Kay Lee Ray, Baron Corbin, Xia Li, Boa, Charlotte Flair, Adam Page

A white cabin, the walls are aligned with blue prints and all the beds have a private desk. TJ is in a constant battle over the cabin leadership with Charlotte who has grown selfish and wants to position for nothing more than it’s title.

Demeter: Aliyah, Anna Jay, Evil Uno

Aphrodite: Vanessa Borne, Zelina Vega, Andrade Cien Almas, Angel Garza, Ace Austin, Zelina Vega,

A pink cabin that smells like perfume and hairspray. The sons and daughters of the love goddess are beautiful and could pass as supermodels. Ace has the rare ability of charmspeak, though he never uses it

Apollo: Elias, Crazzy Steve, Trey Miguel, Charly Caruso, Dana Brooke, Adrian Neville/Neville, Humberto Carrillo,

A large cabin, completely gold, causing many headaches if looked at for too long. The children of Apollo are musically and athletically talented. Humberto happens to be the cousin of Andrade, Angel, and Zelina though their mortal side

Artemis: No one, the hunters of Artemis stay there whenever they visit the camp. Silver cabin that glows in moonlight

Hecate: Toni Storm, Bayley, Candice Lerae,

Iris: Mandy Rose, Xia Brookside.

Nemesis: Pete Dunne and Rhea Ripley (twins)

Eris: Liv Morgan and Jamie Senegal (twins)

Hephaestus: Becky Lynch, Jon Moxley, Wes Lee, Austin Flynn

This cabin looks a-lot like a factory, faded bronze and has smoke coming out of the roof twenty four seven. It is normal to see the children of Hephaestus covered in oil, dirt and cuts and bruises. The four occupants each made their bed, Austin’s has a radio stationed to Olympus and Becky’s has a waterbed for example

A simple wooden cabin with the walls taken out to make sure Johnny isn’t planning pranks or worse. A force field is around the cabin to protect him from monsters. A purple sword given to Johnny by his mother hangs on a hook, cursed to cause bad luck to whoever steals it until it is given back to Johnny.
