“Why can’t you just go to an actual professional and pay them to give you hepatitis like a normal person?” asked Jason through a mouthful of food.

Roy waved a hand dismissively. “Those are so overpriced. Anyone can do this. I’ve done a bunch of my tatts myself, it’s not that hard.”

Jason lowered his gaze pointedly to Roy’s arms, which were covered in tattoos of varying skill. “I wouldn’t brag about that,” he said. “You look like Post Malone.”

Bernard raised an eyebrow. “I’m surprised you know who Post Malone is, honestly.”

Jason scoffed but made no rebuttal. He’d never reveal that he only knew who Post Malone was because he was featured on Taylor Swift’s latest album.

Roy said, “He only knows him because of Taylor Swift.”

“Fuck off, Roy.”

“Tell me I’m lying, Mr Tortured Poet.”

Jason threw his fork at him. Roy caught it and shoved it in between the couch cushions. “That’s what you get for reacting impulsively,” he told Jason. “Now you can’t eat your dinner. What did we learn?”

Bernard was watching the whole thing with his hands covering his mouth. “It’s so criminal that I can’t start a TikTok channel with you guys,” he bemoaned. “You’re all children and no one would ever believe me.”

Summary:

In one night six year old Dick Grayson loses everything. In the audience Bruce Wayne feels something he hasn't in a long time and he knows he just can't standby and watch.

Bruce takes in Dick and soon the kid is an integral part of the Justice League's world and all of the heroes. Robin becomes a staple as the first kid sidekick but that doesn't mean Batman doesn't have more.

This is a prequel to Young Justice in a universe where the Batfamily is already all together. Their family grows from Dick, Bruce and Alfred to add Barbara, a flying alien Uncle, a snarky former thief, a kid genius and a little ninja girl among others.

3. Do you share your fic ideas, or do you keep them to yourself?

= I mostly share them, either with my wife or my girlfriend or my friends etc. I really like talking through my creative processes and asking for advice from ppl I trust. I also like to share my stuff on the internet, particularly tumblr

19. Do you enjoy writing OCs or do you prefer to stick solely to canon characters?

= In fic I can only write canon characters, I can barely convince myself to name a waiter or random person at a mall, and even then it's probably meant to be a canon character, I just chose to leave it up to interpretation. I do have OCs... I just choose not to use them XD I may start trying to make more OCs in the future.

32. Do you take fic requests? Why or why not?

= I don't not take requests. I used to have a collection or something on Ao3 that ppl could send requests to, but I took it down after I started posting really taboo things because I was getting trolls. I did write something called The Livestream Fic where the characters would take kink requests from their viewers to do on stream, and I would have readers leave comments and put them into the fic. If I got a fic request, I would do my best to write it, and I'm always open to prompts.

75. Is there a particular fic that readers gravitated towards that you didn't expect?

= So. Aside from The Fic Series that shall not be named, I have a fic called won't you hug me and hold me (and tell me im lovely) which ships Clark Kent/Jason Todd/Roy Harper in a text message format and no capes AU. When I started it, I actually had to create the clark/jason/roy tag on Ao3 (the other ship tag I created for DC was Roy/Tim/Bart) and I really didn't expect much from my clark/jason/roy text fic, but when I was posting it every day I had pretty active readers, and I have been told by a large amount of them that they were just trying the fic for fun and came out the other side shipping the three of them. Which was my agenda. (BTW there are 4 fics for that pairing on Ao3, 2 are by me, 1 is by my wife, and 1 is by someone who writes a lot of Clark stuff)

At this point in Red Robin it’s clear Tim is perfectly fine with the idea of Damian being Robin and even agrees to have Damian out on a patrol with him.

Damian slices Tim’s line and it’s perfectly reasonable to argue he knew Tim was gonna save himself so a murder attempt accusation is probably a little far here. 

Tim has no idea what the fight is about in his eyes he and Damian should be all good past behind them etc etc

Yes Damian right next to Arsenal and Green Lantern, Roy Harper and Guy Gardner. The two evilest least trustworthy scum of the earth wait no Damian is on the hero list. Which was actively hidden away from the villain list. Tim thinks he’s as much a hero as the rest of them and as much of a threat as a fucking Green Lantern or fucking Wonder Woman. 

I too understand why Damian is angry. He is allowed to be angry. He’s allowed to be upset he thinks Tim doesn’t trust him. But we as a reader should be well aware of course Tim would trust the other heroes on that list but it doesn’t mean you don’t have backup plans. It’s literally what Bruce taught all of the Robins. 

Just like Tim is allowed to be distrusting. I mean Damian attacked him before talking to him or hell before tattling to Dick. Damian should have known better by now. Dick even realizes why Tim has a list. Dick also realizes that Damian is hurt and respects that. 

People are allowed to have conflicting feelings and both are valid. Damian being hurt doesn’t negate Tim being wary. Just like Tim being trained by Batman to do these things doesn’t mean Damian can’t be offended. 

Look Timmy never wanted to hurt his feelings. He knows Damian is a good kid that is why he’s on the hero list. But Tim is just doing what he was trained to do.

And Dick agrees with Tim because that is also what Dick was trained to do

You could never know what could happen, and Dick worried. Last time he took his eyes away from the Tower, his troll of a little brother broke in to stole his Red X suit. He didn’t want anything like that to happen again, thank you very much.

They’ve been separated since they’ve been captured. Jon had no idea how his friends were doing — where they even were. They had slapped a collar around his neck, and he couldn’t use his powers anymore.

She was surprised to see Lian Harper among the kids still doing their card knowing the little girl had been among the first ones to finish hers. Truth to be told, Ashley had been surprised to see her so eager about her work – Ashley had only see Lian's father so far, and he never talked about a wife or girlfriend of his. He was often accompanied by some people, obviously around his age, and she assumed they were his friends. Lian was running toward them with glee every time.

When people can’t pay, she do it for free, because she also just wants to help people, and they’re always willing to house her or share a meal with her and it’s more than enough. They can exchange services instead of money, or even nothing — Stephanie is not after that.

She loves to see people gets better, and the tears of joy from their families and friends. It’s all she needs.

A Steph-centric Fairy Tale AU!

“Oh, dear. I didn’t know…Well, it seems that Master Jason’s birth mother is a different lady than the one who raised him. He… Things happened on patrol some times ago, and Master Bruce was worried for him… It evolved into an argument. Master Jason… ran away to find his birth mother. It was worse than what he would have thought. Dick gritted his teeth, the worry more present than before. He could see the glances his friends were sending toward him but choose to ignore it for now.

Technically, this one isn't a WIP anymore, since it's in editing process, but oh well.

When he sees Bruce, fists tight and eyes furious, in the middle of his living-room, Clark doesn’t have to think to know what bring him here.

It doesn’t mean he has to like it.

Actually, he has a curl of anger in his stomach and a growl stuck in his throat, because Bruce has no right to show up like that to protest against things he can’t control anymore.

He still knows his — former — friend enough to know it won’t stop him.

A project of mine called "Bruce is a dumbass" (for now) where Bruce gives his kids to various heroes bc he couldn't handle raising them.

So, at night, Tim gets new friends and doesn’t hide as much, and it’s fun. Besides, they help him find where Batman and Robin are.
