I'm a little unsure about this edit I tried. I feel that maybe a softer transition between the dark and the light side of head would look better - maybe something to try in the future! I quite like coming back to images with a fresh set of eyes at a later date, it can really help with decisions. I have understood why "solar halo" was named so. It isn't rainbow spot on the sky. It's full circle around the sun. The HDR photo shown it. Я понял, почему "солнечное гало" так называется. Keeping up the cool vibes to help with the heat with another shot from Finland. One of the amazing sled dogs from @lammintupa These chaps have so much energy and drive and the their power and strength is really something! I'm usually a fan of a vignette of some degree in my work, but for a lot of winter shots I find actually a negative vignette can work even better! Why do I keep doing this? That is something I wondered when we came back from our skiing trip to our accommodation 1 km away and about 130 elevation meters (naturally uphill). On return trip one of us was crying and wouldn’t walk or climb or do anything but lay on sledge. So frustrating especially when check-out time gets closer minute by minute and everyone is hungry and tired. I guess I still believe that the 80 % that went well will win the 20 miserable % (which feel like 50 % in my head).
