Okay, maybe this is a dumb thing for me to have not noticed until now...

But did anyone else notice that if you're walking through town and the background music is playing, walking into a building CHANGES the musical instrumentation of the song? And it's the same song, but each building's instrumentation is completely different and fits the vibe of that building. That is the coolest fucking thing.

I can't believe that didn't click until like 5 minutes ago. That's such a nice touch to have put that in there. Is that a new thing they added, or have I just been oblivious this whole time?? Lol

Speaking of things I didn't realize until today, if you take a picture with an NPC, it automatically removes the talk or open shop option from the photo. My dumb ass was trying to find weird camera angles to hide it lmao.

I’ve been replaying a lot of Rune Factory 4 lately, with being snowed in since I live in the wondrous Minnesota. I played the original on the 3DS and have gotten the special edition on the switch so I’ve been trying to scrape content on any form of media. Seriously though. Where is the Rune Factory fandom? Have I been looking in the wrong areas? Even my beloved AO3 is starting to let me down (I’m sorry dear, I still love you with all my heart).

ANYWAY. If there’s one bachelor who feel like is kind of underrated overall, it’s Vishnal. Now most of you will probably say it’s Arthur or Kiel, and while I do agree, let me explain.

We already know that Doug is extremely important to the story and that a lot of people like his little wit and personality. He is adorable.

Leon is a fan favorite and I understand why. He’s attractive, his voice is gorgeous (what can I say? I’m a slut for anyone voiced by Mathew Mercer. I’m looking at YOU CHROM). His dialogue is funny and his backstory is compelling.

Now I’m also a hypocrite because I’ve married Dylas more times than anyone else. I love myself a little tsundere horse boy. His town event has me kicking my feet and don’t get me started on his voice too. I love him and his little fish he catches.

But VISHNAL. He was my second husband and I actually had a hard time deciding on how to marry first. This man is the definition of best wingman no matter what. He IS THERE for you no matter what and always treats you like the prince/princess you are. I love his little hair strand (shit I like odd hairstyles). Let’s not forget him as a battle buddy. Best one out there: I will die on this hill. Listen, Dylas is my damage out put, but Vishnal is my healer, my support, and a great damage dealer as well. I hand him my older dual blades and he wrecks shit. They fr carried me through my game.

This is just an appreciation post for Vishnal. His marriage event is very heartwarming and overran I adore him. If I could, I would have him and Dylas.

Hey Rune Factory fans! Did you know that the "Another Episode" DLC is only free this month?? I missed out on this deal with Rune Factory 4 Special, honestly I didn't know the DLC even existed until recently!

The news was mentioned in the Rune Factory 3 Special Localization Blog 1! (See highlighted screenshot below)

My favourite big brother bought me Rune Factory 4 Special Edition for Christmas and it made me cry. Not only is this game special to me as something that I could turn to every-time I got depressed and needed anything to smile about, but also the fact he remembered me talking about it years ago meant a lot to me.

I haven’t been able to play it yet due to a really busy schedule and getting terribly sick twice but I have it installed and waiting for me I’m beyond excited and once I’ve played it ill probably write more confessions about it!

Kie finally got her switch, but the only games she has are the ones through the family plan. Kie isn't complaining nope, but there's so many games she wants that it's hard to be able to play seriously LOL.

The price of games though is outrageous, and Kie can't afford them right now.

Rune Factory 3 Special Golden Memories Edition

Rune Factory 3 Special Golden Memories Edition was released in the United States on September 5, 2023 by XSEED Games for $79.99. It was the special edition box set option for the release of Rune Factory 3 Special for the Nintendo Switch, a remake of Rune Factory 3, which was originally released in 2009 on the Nintendo DS.

While not a free pre-order bonus, XSEED also offered an exclusive Golden Wooly plush keychain for those who pre-ordered, but at the cost of an additional $5.00; this was an XSEED Store exclusive and was an offer available to those who bought the Earthmate Edition or the standard issue. This keychain was not available for standard retail release. The design was based on the main character's, Micha, monster-form.

The Golden Memories Edition is fairly standard in terms of bonuses that XSEED released for the series before, but there are a few exceptions. This special edition included:

Custom outer box featuring new original artwork

Custom 5” by 8” planner containing in-game seasons in addition to a real world calendar

Original soundtrack CD featuring 36 songs from the game

Acrylic 9-piece standee, measuring 6” wide and 4” tall featuring protagonists from the last 3 games

​​This box set is has an item from the Dream Collection release of the game, which was only released in Japan, with the acrylic stand. Even the box containing the stand still features the original Japanese text.
