I want an AU where after Jason gets brought back to life, he channels his inner rage and turmoil into the academics instead of murder
Talia has like infinite money and a crap ton of influence, so she can absolutely get Jason the best tutors and can easily get him into the most prestigious schools if Jason wanted to (she doesn't need to do that though because Jason's just smart enough to get into them on his own)
The major he chooses? Med.
Why? Because Bruce dropped out of med school.
Jason practically flies through all the secondary education that he needs to catch up on and is already en route to earning his bachelor's AND his master's.
And it'd be so incredibly funny if the way Bruce and Jason reunite in this AU was purely by coincidence.
Bruce (as Brucie Wayne) offers to show up as a guest lecturer at Hudson University (the school Dick attended but dropped out of so double points for Jason), maybe to talk about future career paths and job positions at WE idk
So as Bruce is just wandering around the campus, he randomly bumps into a student and immediately puts on the Brucie act and is all "Oh my, I'm SO sorry, I'm just a klutz haha" only to stop dead silent when he makes eye contact with a very alive, very grown Jason Todd, who also stops dead in his tracks, mouth agape, staring at Bruce like the world's about to end
And before Bruce can get his thoughts straight, Jason just bolts out of there like his life depends on it, and Bruce is just in shambles for the rest of the day.
It doesn't help that the person giving Bruce the tour is all like "Oh yeah, that's Jason, he's one of the heads on our student council haha, anyways, this way, Mr. Wayne." and Bruce is just stood there bluescreening.
----
Alternatively, it'd be kinda funny if this all happened AFTER the events of UTRH where after the final encounter with Bruce and Joker and the whole explosion, Jason's just like "yk what, maybe I'm just gonna turn over a new leaf and pursue a higher education"
So while Gotham's still reeling from the aftermath of Jason's near takeover as the top crime lord and Bruce is still painstakingly trying to figure out where his son went, the whole time Jason's just been chilling on a school campus and Bruce just so happens to bump into his son (who, last time they met, tried to kill Bruce and blew up the building they were all in) and Jason's just all normal-looking with his textbooks and nerdy glasses and Bruce doesn't know whether to scream or cry.

Ghost blobs lead someone to Danny
(There is a part 2 now)
Batman froze at the floating blob, nearly the same color of lauzus waters and glowed even brighter. It seemed to notice him and ziped over to him at an alarming speed. Batman tensed ready to strike. But the thing just hovered in front of him and humming? It sounded desperate and worried, despite sound completely inhuman. His lack of response on seemed to increase the noise it made now make odd movements in one direction.
Before he could blink suddenly he was swarmed with the things. Some started pushing at his back and face. Others grabbed at his cape and tried tugging him forward. All of them humming the same desperate tune. Against his better judgement, a feeling in his chest told him to follow. "Alright" He whispered to the odd blobs. "Lead the way." Several bolted away as he chased behind them. A few stayed with him flying next to him or tucked into his cape.
He followed them over buildings until they reached a warehouse district. He was lead to an area designated for demolition. Finally the blobs float to the ground stoping at a warehouse with a door left ajar.
When Batman pushed the doors open he saw nothing, he stood still for a moment. He nearly thought it was a trap. Before the familiar gentle push urged him on. The ones leading him before flew behind a pile of trash and just barely he could see a faint glow behind it.
When Batman walked behind the trash pile, he froze. A dozen more blobs were there all crowding around a dimly glowing child. The white haired child was curled up and seemed to be bleeding lauzrus green. Batman rushed over and grabbed the child's wrist to feel for a pulse. His heart lurched when he found one, and it lurched again when the boy moved. He whimpered and weakly tried pulling away.
He sprang into action and pulled the boy to himself. He grabbed his bandages and gently uncurled the boy to see his wounds. He froze again at the Y-shaped cut on his chest and the countless other cuts left on him. "Please- please stop." Batman snapped back to when the boy spoke. "It's alright, you're safe now." He said softly, he wrapped the boy up as best he could. "What's your name?" He asked as he gently picked the boy up.
The boy was humming like the blobs he realized, it was far weaker like a buzzing in his hands. "Danny" The boy replied, Batman nearly didn't hear him. "I'll keep you safe Danny, I promise." At that Danny seemed to relax and melt into him. Batman called the Batmobile.
The blobs followed them outside a few seemed to fly away before coming back. Like they were patrolling the area. Others were comforting Danny, rubbing up against him or humming a different sound possibly to reassure him. "What are they?" Batman asks, hoping to get some information before the boy could pass out. "Blob ghosts." He muttered.
"Ghosts?"
"It's what I am, but I'm really bad at it" Danny mumbled the last part to himself but Batman caught it. A ghost entity? It would explain the lack of a pulse and even the wounds. A ghost haunted with his own autoposy scars. Before he could ask more the bat mobile stopped in front of them.
Batman hopped inside and gently place Danny in the passenger seat, buckling him in. The blob ghosts followed tucking into the back in a quick flurry. And like that Batman set off. He called Alfred. "Alfred, prepare the medbay. I have a severely injured unknown."
"Right away"
Batman barely managed to keep the boy awake all the way to the Batcave. Batman tries to ignore Alfred's shocked face as he sees Danny and the swarm of blob ghosts that follow them. "You didn't say they were this unknown."
"Danny says that they are 'blob ghosts' and claims he is a ghost as well. But that he is bad at it some how." Batman explained as they rushed to the medbay. When Batman set the boy down a white ring of light appeared around the boy it split and passed over him. They were left with a very human looking boy who was now bleeding red, mixing in with the green.
He and Alfred shared a look of shock. Before having to push the feeling away to help the boy.

Brought to you by a tiktok where this guy was talking abt a girl he was seeing and how every time they had sex she’d give him a little treat afterwards (like a lil candy bar)
Like it starts when you jokingly toss Johnny one of the chocolates you had sitting on your nightstand after he ate you out like his life depended on it- he eats the candy immediately obviously as he laughs
Then you end up with a little candy dish on the nightstand, or in the drawer, any time you and Johnny have sex you give him a piece of candy, throw him a bone so to speak. Not on purpose but you think it’s cute- the way his face lights up when given the candy
You find yourself fucking somewhere in the house that isn’t the bedroom? Johnnys right behind you as you make your way to your shared room for his treat, not even realizing he’s doing it.
Whether you forget on purpose or on accident one day he just kinda stands in the kitchen like a kicked puppy and, “didn’t do somethin’ to upset ya did I hen?” His head tilted to the side slightly.
“What? No- what do you mean?” You are genuinely confused until he mumbles a “didn’t get my treat- ya know-“
You have to stop yourself from laughing as you ruffle his slightly overgrown mohawk before you’re off to the bedroom to toss him his little candy.
Honorable mention: I’d like to think Johnnys somehow ended up explaining this to the others, maybe just Ghost at first. And Ghost immediately understands it and is thankful his smile is covered by his balaclava- leave it to Johnny to get himself trained like a good dog
Basically what im trying to say is doing this to Soap would have him so down bad I think

I choose you
When Ghost and Soap first got together, they sat down and had a frank talk that their jobs would always come first and the two of them would always come second. No matter what, they would set aside their desires and choose their jobs over one another because what they were doing was more important than any single person.
They both understood this.
But as their time together continued – weeks, months, years – Ghost’s heart only fell deeper and deeper. Simple touches that had previously felt like fingers against skin now felt like home and safety. Their nights of desperate and needy sex to relieve stress turned into slow lovemaking as they savoured the taste and feel of each other’s bodies. Their chaste kisses started to linger, neither one wanting to be the first one to pull back.
Still, they always came second. And Ghost was okay with this.
Until he wasn’t.
It was supposed to be a routine mission. Facility destruction. The data that was being kept in the servers was far too dangerous for it to be leaked and would lead to catastrophe if it wasn’t destroyed. Hundreds, thousands of innocent lives would be lost. They planted a bomb, but as they were escaping, ignition failed. A call came out over the comms.
The remote detonation wasn’t working and the data was quickly being transferred to another location. They had to stop it – fast.
The only way to do so was to trigger a manual detonation. It was risky, incredibly dangerous, and with no guarantee that there would be enough time to flee the blast zone before it went off.
Ghost and Soap were quiet as they listened. Not willing to take the risk, Ghost started to think of another plan.
But Soap’s eyes remained fixated on the building in the distance. He was still, a carefully controlled blank expression on his face. His eyes appeared as though a bit hazy, not fully in the present.
The message ended with a faint static buzz and it was just the two of them again.
“Here’s what I’m thinking-” Ghost started, but he was quickly cut off.
“I’ll do it.”
Ghost whipped his head around to stare at Soap. “No, you’re not,” he commanded. “You’re not that stupid.”
Soap kept his gaze off into the distance, refusing to look at Ghost. He briefly glanced up at the stars above them and clenched his jaw.
“It’s the job…” he mumbled quietly, every bit of Soap’s brash and bold personality gone.
“The job is to succeed, we can find another way, Sergeant.”
“I can’t let someone else do it. There are so many people on those lists… my life means nothing compared to them.”
As those words hit Ghost’s ears, he felt like he had been slapped in the face. Soap took a step forward. And another. And another.
All at once, it occurred to Ghost what Soap was planning on doing. Years of memories flowed into Ghost’s mind of the two of them together. He remembered the way that Soap’s smile would light up a room, even forcing Ghost himself to break out into a small smile at its infectiousness. He could feel phantom kisses trace across his cheeks, lips, and neck, Soap’s favourite places to praise. He saw Soap’s body lying in their bed as Ghost crawled into it in the middle of the night, wrapping his arms around Soap to pull him close and immediately falling asleep.
Ghost craved the gentleness of Soap’s touches, the affection of his bright eyes, and the steady presence of his heart.
Ghost’s reality came shattering down upon him, pure horror filling his stomach and making him feel nauseous.
“Wait…” he breathed out, the words turning into wispy nothings. Then, more forcefully, “Wait!”
Ghost brought up his heavy leg to take a step, forward, forward. He was running, chasing after Soap who was barrelling towards the facility. He pushed himself harder than he ever had before, his chest aching from both the activity and the fear.
Once he was behind Soap he shot out his arm and wrapped his hand around Soap’s wrist. He threw his body forward, the two of them crashing down onto the ground and kicking up the dirt around them. Soap flew his limbs around but Ghost was able to wrestle control and roll them both over. He quickly straddled Soap, pinning him to the ground with his body weight.
“Ghost?” Soap called out, his eyes widening in shock. “What are you-”
“It’s you, okay?” Ghost panted out, desperate and frenzied unlike anything he’d felt before. His hands framed both sides of Soap’s face, his fingers laying across the skin he had memorized long ago. “I… I can’t pretend that it’s not and I know we made a promise to each other but…” Ghost let out a shuddering breath, his heart scared of the words that seemed to spew out. “I choose you.”
Soap sucked in a breath, his eyes instantly softening.
Ghost leaned forward, resting their foreheads together. “I can’t do this – any of this – without you by my side. I want you. I choose you. I love you. Please don’t make me lose you… please…”
He was blabbering, pathetically begging for his heart to be able to continue loving.
Ghost wanted to love Soap just as much as he was desperate for Soap’s love.
Ghost felt a hand wrap around his wrist, familiar gentle touches that had always grounded him. He pulled back slightly so he could look into Soap’s eyes.
Such lovely eyes they were, an ocean to happily drown in. The eye of the storm that was Ghost’s mind.
Soap quickly blinked away the misty tears in his eyes.
“Aye…” he breathed out, barely above a whisper. “I choose you too, Simon.”
