Some of you might be interested in this Medium essay I wrote a couple years ago. The crazy thing is that a little over a year after I published it, I went through my own ordeal with a seemingly “progressive” church and learned exactly what it means when the church lets you down.

I didn’t realize it at the time, but I was writing truths to myself before I could really understand them.

seven seconds is my favorite early seasons criminal minds episode because it's immaculate it's right between gideon leaving and rossi coming. everyone absolutely did great they didn't NEED another person to solve the case everyone was on their shit. hotch and prentiss looked like they were going to beat the uncle's ass when they took him in that back room. emily looked like she was gonna swing on the aunt. jj and derek were on their shit at every turn. reid and garcia were doing their thing. it was perfect. my friend and i were talking about it the other day and like. the team up in the later seasons is good BUT this is the perfect team because they're frankly the only ones who can tolerate each other at their worsts (later additions were good but they never saw the rest of them at their lowest imo the only other person who did was alex and i think she was the only other good long-term addition as far as emily's replacements went + tara luke and matt at least saw reid at his lowest arguably) so like. it could've remained the six of them. no one else could be the leader of this specific group but hotch. derek and jj serve as the big guy / media liasion but also the more empathetic ones who make people feel safe and heard. reid and garcia are irreplaceable geniuses in their own right but emily is also?? not exactly replaceable. she has a very specific set of skills and hotch chose her to be his replacement when he left for a REASON. if i had to pick a line up it'd be these six (hotch, prentiss, morgan, jj, reid, garcia) and then alex, tara, matt and luke (i'm VERY biased)

I’m frustrated with this season because while the Jughead and Veronica stuff is cute, it’s happening while Tabitha has all her memories in tact and is still very much committed to Jughead and in love with him while working her best to save everyone’s lives. And it feels a little dirty of the writer’s to wipe Jug’s mind and literally send Tabitha away just so he can touch lips with Betty and Veronica... like Jug loves Tabitha so much, and her not being there feels empty and wrong. 

I have no doubt that Jabitha will get back together once the writers put Tabitha back on our screens, but as a viewer it’s just super frustrating. Why does the final season feel so directionless (plotwise)? Why are our characters still memory-wiped? Will they ever actually start to remember? Maybe get Tabitha back in the show and I can forgive it, but we only have like 20 episodes to wrap up the entire show? What are we even doing?

so here i am again ... just caught up with the last two episodes of season 7b ... and i feel like banging my head on a wall :)) what's new :))

you know s2 of the 100 will always be my favorite season, it was brilliant and the writing was absolutely incredible and I don't think any season will ever top it but saying that, S4 does come close!!! it was exciting and the writing was good and the storyline of trying to save everyone was so good and bellarke actually interacted most of the episodes maybe that's partly why I loved it lol also loved s6 though mostly for bellarke but also the storyline was decent! i understand why some didn't like s5 it wasn't my favorite but I never would've wanted the 100 to be cancelled before s6 because some of those bellarke moments in S5&6 were incredible and 6x10 is one of my favorite episodes and if we hadn't had that episode I would've been so sad!! jroth is a petty pos they wrote a scene where bellarke got together in 6x11 then he changed his mind because he sucks and they did a total 180 and rewrote it ugh anyone that watched the show and didn't think bellarke was leading to endgame was in denial truly!! all the foreshadowing, all the parallels and quotes about love and etc they were supposed to be endgame end of the story! whether you hate them or not it was supposed to be them together!! I got off topic I always do because I'm so upset and angry they weren't endgame but yeah!! I'm actually on the S4 finale in my rewatch and I genuinely did love that season for more than just bellarke but yeah!

agents of shield s7 really was a shockingly good conclusion to something I like… like on it’s own it’s a good season but I don’t really realize how highly I think of it overall (it’s not agents of shield s4 who’s praises I’ll sing any day of the week) until I think about how many concluding seasons or books of shows or series I love could have been better if they were more like it in a variety of ways…

i like doggett more than mulder, but i still don't think i like him enough to be Husband Material. BUT (spoiler if you do plan to watch the x files, so sorry) doggett was a caring father and wanted to do anything in the world to protect his child. not saying mulder wasn't, i just don't think i could have mulder in my life forever lol. scully is very much best friend material (for myself), and would be a supportive shoulder to lean on but also someone to take trips with to unwind (as long as it's not to maine). her and dogget coupled together would provide normalcy to one's life - in this case "mine" - whereas i feel like mulder would be exciting but Too Much to have in one's life ("mine") for more than a short period of time. i've said it before, and i'll say it again, mulder would be a really fun neighbor lol
