So I'm gonna be honest I haven't read any of the comics? But I saw a bunch of people redrawing this panel and it is absolutely adorable so BANDWAGON HO I'm really happy with this one, I was doing some tests with softer more pastell-y lighting and it really suits the tone of the piece imho n_n

the saddle bag, designed by john galliano for dior, debuted in 1999 on the runway in dior’s spring/summer 2000 show.

the design was inspired by the shape of a jockey’s seat, and it is said that galliano was inspired by the famous photographer helmut newton’s photograph Saddle I, Paris, 1976.

in 2000, the bag appeared on season five of the cult show Sex and the City. the iconic character carrie bradshaw carried a saddle bag, catapulting it to ‘it bag’ status.

from then on, the saddle bag could be seen on the arms of it girls everywhere
