My media this week (30 Oct-5 Nov 2022)
Tumblr media
📚 STUFF I READ 📚
😍👂‍ The Long Game (Game Changers #6) (Rachel Reid, author; Cooper North, narrator) - #1 this story runs concurrent to Role Model so I thought it was good to read it straight after #2 I love that we got such a great sequel, showing them working out some more relationship stuff (cause as much as I love a HEA idea, HEA's require intentional action) but mainly #3 I need zero reasons to reread Shane & Ilya, my forever faves
🥰 Dear Mr. Postman (odetteandodile) - reread - delectable 'marriage for insurance while secretly pining' fic. so much good pining in this.
🥰 The Lady And The Tiger (Shivadhverse #3) (Sam Starbuck aka @copperbadge) - just so in love with this delightful fluffy series!
😊 Piece of Cake: A Swanley Story (Swanley #2.5) (Valentine Wheeler) - super cute short queer romance, love to see a legit older MC
🙂 Study Hall (Alec J. Marsh) - D/s short story
😍👂‍ Howl's Moving Castle (Diana Wynn Jones, author; Jenny Sterlin, narrator) - this narrator was great and I adored that they gave Howl a Welsh accent from the jump
🙂 There Are No Wolves in California (Werewolves on the Other Hand…) (isthatbloodonhisshirt (wasterella), KioFox) - 49K, Sterek - pure wish-fullfillment of a bullied Stiles being rescued by a wolf pack
💖💖 +270K of shorter fic so shout out to these I really loved 💖💖
Mise en Place (Draco_sollicitus) - MCU: shrunkyclunks, 26K - reread - absolutely adore this omegaverse shrunkyclunks
In the Woods Somewhere (AidaRonan) - Stranger Things: Steddie, 5.5K - wow wow wow! incredible monsterfucking fic with great feelings. love love love
Ink & Ivy (ToBebbanburg) - The Old Guard: Kaysanova, 28K - reread - lovely, soft, wonderful modern tattooist/florist AU
Where There's a Will There's a Way (xiaq) - The Mandalorian: DinLuke, 21K - reluctant accidental Mandalore Din & Jedi twink Luke - just oodles of fun
📺 STUFF I WATCHED 📺
Ghosts - s2, e5

Re, the bts anon: hello, I’m back, and not to be annoying, but what we’re your favorite parts? I know the clips are a big one but mine was like Jacob saying he wore paste on nails instead of acrylics bc he was afraid to scratch his baby girl and I just thought that was so sweet.
And the fact, they got ALL the directors in this, showing everyone that it’s not just Jones here. Like, IM YELLING CRYING SCREAMING.
Yes omg thank you for telling me about it and you aren't being annoying at ALL! That part was super sweet like 🥰🥰🥰 Jacob Anderson may be an amazing actor but he is also a dad first (Just like Louis 🥰)
There was so much I loved in that behind the scenes like I can't even choose it's just like "all of it" but I think like you said they did a good job of showcasing how much of a group effort it was, like breaking it down into the components that go into making the show and getting to here from everyone. I really liked the sets and costumes and sfx sections because I love love love location sets and what wasn't on location is so well made. They mentioned that they recreated houses that are now demolished from old pics for the set. The detail in the set design is wild, I love the trick doors and peepholes for them to test if it's still light outside. They kept saying they had to "think like a vampire" 😂
They have different contact lenses for the different moods of the vampire, saying the vamp eyes get dialted when they are aroused or about to eat, which this is what I'm imagining:
Tumblr media
I have mixed feelings about Anne Rice myself but it's undeniable she wrote some of my absolute favorite books so the sections where they talk about her, Sam Reid saying he went and talked with a New Orleans bookshop owner where she used to do events and talk about her legacy. How Jacob Anderson says he wishes he had been able to meet Anne Rice and thank hed because he felt so seen after reading IWTV. There is just so much love and dedication for the source material and to the current fans (they said there will be easter eggs only fans of the books will catch and then cliped to Lestat at a party saying he once wished to be a priest while trying to charm Louis's parents) it's really really a labor of love and just very impressive. It really feels like they took Anne Rice's story and are extending it and adding to it with love

Riding the Lightning: Final Part
Pairing: Spencer Reid x Reader
Word Count: ~1.9k
Warnings: canon violence, canon language, canon talk of death, methods of kill, fluff and angst
Author’s Note: I do not own anything from Criminal Minds. All credit goes to their respective owners. If there is any warnings that exceed the normal death/kills from the show, I will list them. If you’ve seen the show, then it’s the same level of angst unless otherwise stated.
Feedback is gold, and it’s the only currency I take
There are only two hours left, so if you’re going to do something, then you need to do it now. Penelope has been working overtime to see if she can’t track down Riley without the help of Sarah, but she really made sure he wouldn’t be found. She really doesn’t want Riley to surface.
“Check all police and hospital records dating back to September 1990,” Gideon asks of Penelope, and she gets straight to work.
“You know, you should check local newspapers to see if anyone reported any abandoned babies,” Spencer suggests.
“Yeah, I don't give a damn where the governor is, we may have found proof that Sarah Jean is innocent,” Sam Shapiro says over the phone.
“She really only had a maximum of three hours between police visits. It was four p.m. so traffic was pretty heavy. Whatever she did with Riley had to be local,” Spencer theorized.
“In 1990, there were three babies that were abandoned in Septemeber,” Penelope reveals.
“Three-year-old boys?” you ask.
“None.
“Why doesn't she just tell us where Riley is?” Spencer says in frustration.
“She is protecting him against Jacob. She refuses to let him be Jacob’s last victim. If he knows who his real parents are, then he’s haunted for life, and that’s exactly what Sarah doesn’t want.”
“Look, they are being executed within an hour of each other. What hope do we even have to finding him in time?” JJ asks.
“You know, it's quite possible, she doesn't even know where he is anyway.”
“No. she knows. We’ve got to get into her cell. Y/N, come with me.”
You follow Gideon to find the warden since he is the only one who can grant her access outside of her cell. He’s right outside of Jacob’s cell, and as much as you despise being around him, it’s for Sarah. Once he sees you, he smiles evilly, but you ignore him as best as you can.
“You've come to see the show?” Jacob asks.
He’s in the process of being shaved for the electric chair, but you ignore him.
“We need to get into Sarah Jean's cell. I believe the proof--”
“I can't do that!” Charles Diehl hisses and takes you two off to the side. “All official lines of communication are now over.”
“We just need five minutes,” you beg.
“Agents! They want the memory of these two individuals erased.”
“Five minutes. Please. That’s all we need,” you plead.
Charles sees the desperation in your eyes, and he just sighs with a gentle roll of his eyes.
“Five minutes.”
“Thank you. Come on,” Gideon urges.
He takes you to Sarah’s cell once it’s clear to go inside and look through everything she has. It isn’t much, but you don’t have a lot of time. Gideon goes straight to work in rifling through the books and mattress for something, but you’re drawn to the painting of her son in the field. He’s running happily, and you realize there is something pulling you to that specific painting. Gideon notices you just staring at it, but he doesn’t yell at you to keep looking. He knows you have something.
“What is it?”
You reach for the painting and take it off the wall, turning it over to reveal a newspaper clipping of a teenage boy. It’s about an award that he won, but there is no mention of what the award is, where he got it, or his name. However, you take one look at this picture and know it’s Riley.
“This is Riley. He’s alive,” you say and show him the picture.
“Let’s go.”
Gideon puts everything back the way it was before leaving the cell. You can’t be here when Sarah Jean comes back, and luckily, Penelope isn’t that far from her cell. As soon as the technical analysis sees the picture, she freaks just a little.
“That's Riley. It's her son, isn't it? Someone tell me it's him, please,” she begs.
“Yes, it is,” you nod.
“JJ, circulate this photo to the press. See if anybody recognizes this boy,” Hotch orders.
“Do I say who we think he is?”
“No just put him out as the missing persons.”
Before she can leave, a loud noise goes off that signals something. It’s not a good noise, you know that for sure.
“Okay, what does that mean?” JJ asks.
“It means Jacob is being moved to the execution chamber,” Spencer says.
You grab the photo of Riley and inspect it. There is nothing on here that suggests where he is because Sarah cut out the words. All she wanted was a picture of him, and that was enough for her.
“She cut around the photo so no one can read the text. He was two when he disappeared. This boy is sixteen or seventeen. If he's Riley, it would mean it's a recent photo.”
“Once Jacob's dead, do you think Sarah Jean would tell us if this is Riley?” JJ wonders.
“No, she won’t,” you shake your head.
“Gideon, she has to know we know.”
Gideon gives one single nod as the two of you head over to Sarah’s cell where she is finished being prepped for the execution chamber. She knows you took her photo which means she knows you know Riley is alive and well. It doesn’t take long for Jacob to be killed, and as soon as he is, you hope Sarah will tell you where Riley is.
“Jacob is gone. He's no longer any threat to Riley. Tell me where he is. We can stop this madness,” Gideon says when he sees her.
“There is no greater gift in life than that of being a parent. Yet so many of us abuse and squander that gift. You can deny being a parent all you want, but I know you are one,” she says to you. “I made my decision fifteen years ago. This has never been about Jacob. It's always been about Riley.”
“That's why we can't let you do this,” you beg.
“This isn't about you and me.”
“I know it isn't. That's why I'm not going to let Riley lose the greatest gift he knew he had,” Gideon declares.
“But that is my gift to him, and I'll not let you destroy that.”
You two leave her cell, and Gideon looks at you with a curious gaze.
“Are you a parent?”
“No. She’s lying,” you shake your head. You refuse to open the locked parts of your mind. There are a lot of secrets back there, and they are locked away for a reason. “We have to find Riley. Come on.”
You two head back to where Penelope and the rest of the gang are.
“Only people Jacob allowed Sarah Jean to know were the family she cleaned for,” Gideon thinks out loud.
“Sarah Jean worked for wealthy families all over Hampton. Let's go over all the families in the state of Florida who were looking to adopt in 1990, and let's see how many lived in Hampton,” Hotch orders, and Penelope goes to work.
“Families looking to adopt... hundreds.”
“How many from Hampton?”
“Uh, three families. The James', the Coulfied's, and the Sheffield's.”
“Looks like the Sheffield's removed themselves from the list in October 1990, and then moved out of Hampton,” you note when you read what’s on her screen.
“That's one month after Riley vanished where did they go?” Gideon asks.
“Uh, Keystone Heights. We got a match on the photo. It was in a piece of local daily news.”
“Call Morgan and Elle and tell them to get to the Sheffield's house.”
You take out your phone and dial Derek’s number with waited breath.
“You got something?” Derek answers.
“Get to the Sheffield’s house. We found her son. Keystone Heights,” you say and give him the address.
“That’s not far from here. We’re on our way.”
“Thanks. Call when you get there,” you say to him and look at Gideon. “He’s going there now.”
“Byran Sheffield,” Spencer reads from the real article the picture came from. “Local cello prodigy, seventeen-year-old Byran Sheffield won a scholarship to play the cello.”
“Let’s go,” Gideon motions for you to follow him.
You rush over to where Charles Diehl is taking Sarah to the execution chamber. They haven’t gone in yet, and you arrive just in time.
“We found him. We found her son,” Gideon reveals to the warden.
“Unless I receive an official stay of execution from the governor, I'm duty-bound to see this through,” he sighs.
“My son is dead, agent Gideon,” Sarah tries.
“I have agents on the way to his house as we speak, and the governor is standing by.”
“Why can you not accept the truth?”
“We can't. This isn't it,” you say emotionally.
“Agents are with in minutes of finding her son, alive,” Gideon says to Charles.
“I am truly sorry,” he sighs and pauses right outside the door. “Hold here.”
“What wouldn't you do for your son to give him a life you could never hope to dream of? I am at peace in the knowledge that my son is free to be whatever he chooses to be.”
“If he knew who you were, do you think he'd choose to allow you to walk in there?” you ask.
“If he knew who his parents were, can you imagine the damage my legacy would leave him?”
“Can you imagine what he would feel? Knowing his mother spent fifteen years on death row, innocent of all charges, just so he can be free of her?” Gideon argues.
“Not me, Jacob. It isn't just my life you have in your hands. It's Riley's life, too. You have the chance to save my son's life.”
“We choose to save yours, too,” you sniffle tearfully.
“My life ended the day I met Jacob,” she repeats herself.
“Gideon, I've got Elle. She says they're at the Sheffield's house,” Penelope says over the earpiece.
“It’s time,” Charles sighs and reaches for Sarah Jean.
“Take your hands off her,” Gideon snaps and speaks into the earpiece next. “Tell Morgan to kick the door and get in the house… whatever it takes. I said take your hands off her.”
“Agent Gideon!”
“A few moments, please,” you beg.
“Gideon, they've got him. What do are we doing here?” Hotch says from next to you two.
“I'm standing here because of choices I've made. Don't let my son be Jacob's last victim. Let me go. Let us both go,” Sarah begs with tears in her eyes.
You can’t help but cry at this because she is an innocent woman being killed for something she never did. Gideon sees this, but he knows he can’t do that to her. It’s all up to Gideon right now, and he makes the right choice.
“Tell Morgan... it's not her son. That we've made a mistake,” he sighs sadly.
“Let him go it's not the boy,” Hotch says into his earpiece.
“Would it be too much to ask if you two are the last faces I see?” she asks of you and Gideon.
“No, it wouldn't,” you whisper.
She gets taken inside the room, and you and Gideon make your way to the gallery where there are other people. You can’t believe they are here to watch a monster die, but you know she is completely innocent. You’re full-on crying right now, but Gideon is keeping it together better than you are.
Sarah Jean sees you two, and she just smiles at the thought of going in peace. You hold eye contact until the black cloth is placed over her head, and you just continue to let the tears fall for the woman who did what she thought was right.
“What we do for ourselves dies with us. What we do for others and the world, remains and is immortal." - Albert Pine

I am now only accepting requests if submitted to my ask box.
I am willing to push the limits in just about anything but I will not write about anything that has to do with bodily fluid/ excrement as a kink (no scat play, no golden showers etc)  and absolutely no Pedophilia.
If you want smut, I need you to tell me what kinks are a no no for you.
If you ask me to write for a character that is underage, there will be no smut unless they are aged up.  (My big one is Teen Wolf, as you see there is no real smut for the in cannon times but I will definitely write smut for the characters)
If it’s on my Masterlist I will most likely write for it - some of these state that  there are characters I won’t work with however. I also have a list of Characters below that I will for sure write for if you wanna ask about a specific fandom or character feel free to :)
Unless otherwise stated, I will work under female reader requests. You want gender neutral or male!reader please clarify that- I can also do cannon ships but those don’t seem as popular here.
If you want an OC - I am going to need details (name, nicknames, general personality, hair length, eye color, etc) this can be sent in more than one ask if you are Anon or if you request from your own Tumblr, we can chat
What kind of ending do you want?
Please give me a little bit to work with - if it’s something like “Stiles x Reader, friends to lovers trope” this can be interpreted in lot of ways… try something like “Stiles x reader, Friends to lovers  where the two have been friends since they were children and after seeing her at homecoming, Stiles manages to confess his feelings- happy ending”  If you don’t know what you want, feel free to send that too but I will take full creative license. with it.

Supernatural on HBO: Assorted scenes rewritten for a “TV-MA” audience.
Leave Your Boots By The Bed: SPN/BtVS, Sam Winchester x Faith Lehane. Companion piece to Big Damn Heroes. Surprisingly soft, with lots of extremely athletic sex. ~7350 words, explicit.
Whoozits & Whatsits: SPN/CM, Sam Winchester x Spencer Reid + magic. 431 words, mature.
Cherry: SPN/CM, Sam x Spencer. In which Spencer eats a popsicle. 240 words, PG.
The Bight: SPN/CM, Sam Winchester x Spencer Reid. Shibari as sensory grounding. ~1130 words, rated R-ish.
One Thing At A Time: SPN/MCU, Dean Winchester x Bucky Barnes. Dean’s first time with a guy. 311 words, mature.
Punishment: SPN/CM, Sam x Spencer. Spencer is a little shit, Sam isn’t actually mad about it. 177 words, mature.
Firsts: SPN/CM, Sam Winchester x Spencer Reid + first date + first kiss. 469 words, PG.
Speechless: SPN / CM crossover. Sam x Reader x Spencer Reid poly threesome smut. ~680 words, explicit.
Silver Linings: SPN/CM, Sam Winchester x Emily Prentiss. Conference table sex. 558 words, explicit.
Dangerous: Walker / SPN crossover. Dean Winchester x Cordell Walker, 367 words, rated R.
On The Edge: SPN/Lucifer crossover. Sam Winchester x Mazikeen. Demon blood, in a sexy way. 493 words, explicit.
Not Your Average Love Story: SPN/CM, Sam Winchester x Spencer Reid. Essentially a rewrite of Supernatural 12x01, “Keep Calm and Carry On,” except Spencer and Sam are adorable dorky murder boyfriends. ~3490 words, rated PG.
Sharp Edges: Sam Winchester x Spencer Reid. Working title was “Reluctant Sadist Sam: An Ode to Matthew Gray Gubler’s Bone Structure.” BDSM and oddly timed neuroscience jokes. ~4880 words, rated a very hard R. And a follow-up ficlet: Handle With Care, 521 words, mature.
Sam: SPN/CM, Sam Winchester x Spencer Reid x Penelope Garcia. Could function as a follow-up to Sharp Edges, but stands on its own, I guess? Nothing too explicit on-screen, but there’s a distinct BDSM flavor. ~700 words, rated a hard R.
The Rockstar AU series: SPN / CM / RPF crossover! Feel-good fluff and chaotic gay shenanigans. Most pieces can be read as standalones.
Five Times Spencer Doesn’t Meet Sam, and One Time He Does: Sam Winchester x Spencer Reid. Five near misses through the years. ~4630 words, rated PG-13.
The “Coffee & Psychopaths” series: Criminal Minds x Supernatural crossover. Nothing shippy, just soft dorky male friendship. Sam and Spencer meet at an NA meeting and drink too much coffee.
Quitting: Half-truths, abandonment issues, recovery, bioluminescent bacteria, and dreams. ~7300 words.
Spitting Venom: Trust, forgiveness, Super Soakers, Doctor Who references, leviathans, and existentialism jokes. ~10,300 words.
Origin Stories: Magic, motels, galaxies, legacies, and pink drinks with little umbrellas in them. ~9520 words.
The One Where Dean Hits On Prentiss: SPN x CM, Emily Prentiss x Dean Winchester. Set in a silly little world where the Winchesters consult for the FBI, or something? 286 words, PG.
Brains Over Beauty: SPN x CM, Sam Winchester x Spencer Reid with a side of Jemily. Margaritas and surprises. ~900 words, G.
Set Yourself On Fire: Background Sam x Ruby but not pairing-centric. A look inside Sam’s head during “I Know What You Did Last Summer.” Rated R.
Big Damn Heroes: Buffy x Supernatural crossover! Assorted surprise pairings. Mostly just character-driven lolz and geeky references galore. ~4930 words, rated PG-13.
This Tall To Ride: Sam x Frank Iero. Nobody asked for this weird-ass crossover but I fucking love it. Raunchy blowjobs with much hair-pulling. ~2750 words, explicit.
Aliens: 31 Days of Halloween challenge fic featuring teenage!Winchesters, with the reader as the middle sibling. Underage drinking with lots of silliness. ~1160 words, rated G.
Moose and Squirrel: Crack in which Sam and Dean turn into an actual moose and squirrel. Crackity cracktastic crack. ~1200 words, PG-13.
Back to the main masterlist here!

Top Reads of 2020!
Tumblr media
Here are my top reads of 2020! These are the 5 👑 books that I read this year and would want with me if I somehow ended up on a deserted island! This year I wanted to keep my top reads to only one book per author unless it was a series, so I decided to have honorable mentions if an author wrote more than one book this year and I loved them all.
In no particular order my top reads are the following:
👑 The Brayshaw series by Meagan Brandy. This series has strong heroines, alpha heroes and twisty storylines that had me riveted to the pages!
Start with book 1, Boys of Brayshaw High: https://www.meaganbrandy.com/bobh
Tumblr media
👑 The Brilliance Trilogy by Lisa Renee Jones. I just love Lisa Renee Jones books! She knows how to write romantic suspense that keeps me engaged, and this one had music which made it perfect.
Start with book 1, A Reckless Note: https://www.lisareneejones.com/brilliance-trilogy.html
Tumblr media
👑 The next books in The Devils’s Due series by Eva Charles. I read the first 2 books in the series, Depraved and Delivered, last year, and they were on Top reads of 2019 list. I continued to love this series this year with Bound and Decadent about 2 different couples in The Devil’s Due universe.
Info on The Devil’s Due books: https://evacharles.com/devils-due
Tumblr media

Note
fandom ask memes 1-10?
1. If you could hit any character without repercussions, who would it be? This is hard cause I could hit a lot of people, so I’m thinking which would have the worst repercussions that I can use this chance on. I suppose Damon Salvatore bc if I hit him, he’d probably kill me, except in this situation where there absolutely cannot be any repercussions.
2. What fandoms were you a part of that you aren’t any longer? Um... 5 Seconds Of Summer? I still like their music, and even watch interviews on occasion but I’m just not like engaged anymore. The same goes for Justin Bieber (mostly old interviews and music). And then I guess I’d say Little Mix, I don’t watch interviews and rarely listen to them. Also #fuckzaynmalik2kforever. I don’t think I’ve ever let go of any of my TV fandoms because it’s easy to separate them from their actors (whereas music acts and models and things are just those people) and you can always rewatch.
3. Characters you would marry in an instant? Lizzie Saltzman, Allison Argent, Cassandra Pressman, Caroline Forbes, Hope Mikaelson, Stefan Salvatore, Dean Winchester, Steve Rogers, Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo vers only), Tony Stark, Stiles Stilinski, Isaac Lahey, Landon Kirby, Edward Cullen, Cedric Diggory, Rupert Giles, Steve Harrington, Dan Humphrey (IT MADE NO SENSE THAT HE WAS GOSSIP GIRL), Betty Cooper, Neal Caffrey, Spencer Reid, Spencer Hastings, Ray Palmer, Nate Haywood, Zari Tomas, Peeta Mellark, The Doctor (David Tennant and afterwards), Clara Oswald, Rory Williams, Ianto Jones, Josh Wheeler, Farkle Minkus, Riley Matthews. I know that’s already a lot but tbh there’s probably more.
4. Are you likely to blush when a sex scene comes up or can you read/watch it with a straight face? I can read smut anytime, anywhere, around anyone, with a straight face. However I can’t watch sex scenes with a straight face if anyone’s in the room.
5. What is your favorite overused trope? (Best) Friends to Lovers.
6. Do you read fanfiction? If so, do you have any favorite authors or fics? I do! There was one series that inspired me to write but I’m not going to name it bc the author was mean to me :))) And of course my favorite authors are all my friends, you guys always come up with such interesting ideas and I love to get involved.
7. Name a main character you wouldn’t mind naming someone after? Allison Argent, in fact if I ever have a daughter I’ll name her Allison. Both because of AA and because I really like that name.
8. Do you prefer happy, bittersweet, or sad endings? Depends on my mood, but usually Happy endings.
9. Do you like prequels? Um... I haven’t read or seen a lot but generally no. However the Star Wars prequels are good.
10. Characters that deserved worse? London Lovecraft Festival: A Teatrichal Celebration of the Works and Mythos of H.P. Lovecraft. February 3-9, 2019 at The Old Red Lion Theatre, 418 St. John Street, London, UK. Info: oldredliontheatre.co.uk; londonlovecraft.com.
Taking place over seven nights, the festival will have original and gently-loved productions presented to London audiences deep in the depths of darkest pub theatredom. With world premieres as well as tried and true creations, both Lovecraft novices and deeper initiates should find their palates tickled and their brains disturbed.
6:00pm Sunday, February 3rd Pickman’s Model Meet Richard Upton Pickman, an artist shunned by the establishment because of his horrifying paintings. But what kind of company has Pickman been keeping? And who — or what — pays a visit to his studio on one terrifying evening? The story is perfect material for Nunkie Theatre — one-man performances by Robert Lloyd Parry, who is best known for his adaptations of the work of PD James. He’s an amazing actor, with a real talent for bringing a story to life and sending a shiver down your spine. Although this is a rehearsed reading, the fright factor should be very high as the original story is one of Lovecraft’s best and Parry is an expert at filling intimate spaces with lurking horror.
7:30pm Sunday 3rd Night of 1000 Tentacles Clocktopus Cabaret presents: Night of 1000 Tentacles! On their second expedition,  Captain Bang Bang and her trustworthy first mate, Stormina Teacup, set out for eldritch realms. Join them and a host of London burlesque and cabaret favorites, including Dolly Trolly with a brand new Lovecraft themed act, and necromantic sorcerer – er, magician – Chris Benkin with his sleight of tentacle, for an outstanding steampunk/transdimensional night of wonders. You will gasp, you will gibber, you will wonder … where did they hide those eyeballs?
9:15 PM Sunday 3rd Cool Air Dr. Muñoz has spent their life battling the forces of death. When Miskatonic University student Natalie Peaslee comes looking for help for her heart, she has no idea how far Muñoz will go to win that fight. As summer rages, they’ll both need to keep a cool head to make it out of Arkham alive. This staged reading directed by Emma Muir Smith marks the European debut of Ron Sandahl’s stage adaptation, originally presented at Seattle’s Open Circle Theatre in 2005.
7:00pm Monday 4th Lovecraft Shivers Do you like stories that make the hairs stand up at the back of your neck? Sam Enthoven’s Shivers nights have been giving aficionados that sensation of spiders down the spine for more than a year now. Sam picks and adapts the finest frightening literature and finds great performers to read it. The twist with Shivers is that these tales are then paired with live sounds from his uniquely uncanny instrument, the theremin, and some of the best up-and-coming artists from London’s experimental music scene. The result is a kind of cinema for the ears and imagination, with storytelling and sound combining to draw you irresistibly in, to reach cold fingers into your mind, to give you Shivers. The stories of H.P. Lovecraft have, naturally, featured at previous Shivers nights. We’ve performed From Beyond in the chapel of Abney Park Cemetery and Dagon in the hold of Spanish galleon The Golden Hinde. The opportunity, however, to put together a new all-Lovecraft Shivers for the festival that celebrates Horror’s dark prince himself is, like his legacy, irresistible. We look forward to scaring you.
7:00pm Monday 4th Albertina West: Reanimator Schoolmates Albertina West and Carla Milburn are scientists in  pursuit of knowledge – about reanimating the dead. But when the formula only seems to work on the freshest of bodies, it’s a small step to take from robbing graves to murder. And for some reason, the awakened dead don’t seem very happy about it… In this work commissioned especially for the London Lovecraft Festival, TL Wiswell extends her suite of genderswitched Lovecraft tales to this perennial favorite. Come and see a play Borne and Walk (but not come back for revenge).
7:00pm Tuesday 5th and Wednesday 6th Providence “Life is a hideous thing.” Prepare to be amazed, terrified, and driven insane! Great Cthulhu may be sleeping beneath the sea, but in Providence, Rhode Island, Lovecraft can’t get a wink. Join the morose and miserable Howard Phillips Lovecraft, author of ‘The Call of Cthulhu’, ‘Shadow Over Innsmouth’ and other incredibly weird tales, as he contemplates the many mistakes that make up his life. His father went mad when he was four. He suffered a mental breakdown when he was eighteen. He lived with his overprotective mother until he was thirty. He loathed seafood, loved coffee and hated immigrants. Indeed he despised anyone who wasn’t an 18th century English Gentleman.  But he hated himself most of all. Lovecraft’s losses were fortunately our gains as his enigmatic, tortured mind gave birth to a body of work we now consider as the foundations of the modern horror genre. Using physical comedy, live music and all the classic horror tropes you can rattle a chain at, Dominic Allen (Belt-Up, A Common Man) and Simon Maeder (Superbolt Theatre) explore a wretched life and ask a haunting question: can any love be salvaged from one so filled with hate? Winner of Vaults Festival ‘Pick of the Week’ award.
9:00pm Tuesday 5th and Wednesday 6th The Lurking Fear and other stories Nestled in amongst the Catskills, sits Tempest Mountain. Far from a vacation destination. This mountain is shrouded in death and destruction. At the heart of all the horror, sitting empty and imposing atop the mountain, is the legendary House of Martense. No-one from the town below, that lies quivering in the shadow of the Martense mansion, ever dares venture up there. Especially when there’s a storm brewing. That is until an inquisitive young journalist, with a self-confessed ‘Love of the grotesque and horrible’, finds herself alone, following the trail of what the locals will only call “The Lurking Fear”. Broken Word Productions Presents The Lurking Fear and Other Stories, an adaptation of H.P. Lovecraft’s “The Lurking Fear”, as well as an introduction to some of his shorter stories. With the aid of puppetry and storytelling, follow our Hero as she faces one of Lovecraft’s deadliest monsters. This is Broken Word’s second theatre production, following it’s 4 star debut with Train Journey at the Camden Fringe earlier this year. They are excited to be taking, somewhat of a darker turn in presenting the World Premiere of (in their opinion) not one, but two of Lovecraft’s finest horrors.
9:00pm Thursday 7th The Witching Hour Montague Rhodes James returns with another selection of unsettling tales of antiquarian terror! Brave the horrors lying in wait within “An Episode of Cathedral History”! Witness the spectral malevolent seeking revenge in “A Warning to the Curious”! One-man show and follow-up to our successful touring production of “Old Haunts”. Jonathan Goodwin plays M.R. James in a show scripted by himself, and directed by Gary Archer.
7:00pm Thursday 7th Lovecraft After Dark Allow the cosmic horror of Howard Philip Lovecraft to envelop your senses and blast your imagination! At any moment, the terrors of the Ancient Ones may be unleashed upon the world. The Elder Gods scrutinise our every deed, awaiting their opportunity to reclaim what was once theirs. Madness will be a blessing to those mere mortals who witness the crawling chaos soon to be released upon mankind! Jonathan Goodwin plays Cornelius Pike in Lovecraft After Dark. The show is scripted by Goodwin, and co-directed by Goodwin and Gary Archer.
7:00pm Friday 8th & Saturday 9th 3:00pm Saturday 9th Late Night with Cthuhlu It’s been a few hundred years since the Great Old Ones awoke from their ancient slumber and enslaved humanity. Yet somehow, against all the odds, life has gone back to normal…ish. Thankfully, the people of London now have something to look forward to at the end of a long day of suffering and toiling. A being known only as THE PRODUCER has ordered the city’s best Television Station (or maybe the city’s *only* television station) be reopened, and for the broadcast of a new state-approved talk show “Late Night With Cthulhu” to stretch its tendrils onto the airwaves. Join your hosts Arabella Fenneck Reid and Sebastian Baxter Thompson for the newest instalment of your new favourite (and mandatory) evening of post-apocalyptic light entertainment. Late Night With Cthulhu is a heart-shuddering romp through a world after the return of the Great Ones. So come along and tune in for an evening of all stars, guest stars, and things beyond the stars! If you’re lucky, you might just go insane…” Trigger warnings: Strobe Lights, Loud Noises, Creeping Dread.
5:00pm Saturday 9th Writing Lovecraft A rehearsed reading of the winning play written for the London Lovecraft Festival.
9:00pm Friday 8th and Saturday 9th The Colour Out of Space With their signature live-Foley treatment, Shedload bring the already potent storytelling of Lovecraft to life through a carefully structured mix of live readings by highly-trained and experienced actors, and sound effects, performed by our very own Foley experts. For this, we rely on a whole ‘shed’s’ worth of sound makers, including every day items such as gardening tools, coal scuttles and salad spinners, as well as more niche instruments such as the ‘sea hoops’, grapefruit (and other choice fruit & veg items), and our prized possession: the Waterphone; an instrument that will no doubt be familiar to every horror film fan. So picture the scene – a dimly-lit stage, with a set comprising Arkham’s town sign and boundaries; a lone narrator, centre stage, using to great effect Lovecraft’s faithfully-adapted writing to describe the horror of the disintegrating farm animals before him – but hang on! – not only are you picturing this, you’re hearing it too: A pig barks out its last rattling breath as its skull collapses – its rotting flesh spills out onto the ground… – voice actor, red pepper, grapefruit, and a hammer – The RØDE mic does the rest. Chilling screams from the attic, complete with nails scratching on wooden floorboard, and the palpable wail of the strange celestial matter plaguing the farm… namely, The Colour out of Space.
12:00pm through 10:00pm, Sunday 3rd through Saturday 9th Patient 4620 Gretel Sauerbrot: a once famous artist, admitted to the Raventhorne Institution and then never heard from again. You are invited to the Royal Museum of Contemporary Art, and through a series of audio guides you explore and uncover clues to Gretel’s past. This unique theatre show is a blend of immersive theatre, auditory storytelling, and art installation; resulting in a rich and sensory experience that won’t be easily forgotten. To experience the show at its fullest, audiences should bring a Smartphone or WiFi enabled device, along with a headset. In the event you cannot provide your own device and/or headset, you will be loaned items on entering the show.

Seasons Tags
i was tagged by @duskysimmer thank you bb! ♡
1. which season are you going to play with first?
probably autumn so I can transition into winter after!
2. from what you’ve seen in the trailer, what are you most excited about?
oh gosh...so much tbh! more gardening features like flower arrangements, the swing set and kiddie pool, creating my own holidays and playing existing ones and definitely the changes in weather like blizzards!
3. what’s your favorite season irl?
autumn and winter ♡
4. what’s your favorite flower/plant?
I love so many flowers (or rather just...all of em) so its hard to choose >< I do especially love any sort of small ground cover flower or big bushy ones like hydrangea! As for plants I love any sort of succulent, ferns, more ground cover and big ol pine trees
5. are you going to create a new sim/family or are you going to keep your current household?
def going to keep both my current saves, I can’t wait to experience seasons in generation 2 of my legacy because I can experience every season with all age groups!
6. what would you like to see in this new add-on that we haven’t seen yet?
ugh, spiral stairs PLEASE or even just like.. different stairs with wide bottoms/tops, the ability to split them ect ofc theres more I’d love to see but it wouldnt be in this pack
7. how do you feel about not having a new neighborhood?
I’m actually really glad they decided not to focus on a new world, chances are if they did only that world would have seasons lol I think they did a great thing by focusing on what they already have since they havent done that yet and the packs we’ve gotten werent.. all that great
8. snow, rain, sun or wind?
SNEW ❄️
9. favorite refreshing drink in summer?
iced tea/snapple peach tea though I drink it throughout the year
10. favorite hot drink in winter?
peppermint mocha!
11. walk through the forest or by the beach?
forest def, though to be fair the forests near me are right next to the ocean so..
12. swimming pool or ocean?
pool, the ocean near me is too cold and others I’ve been to are too strong or just gross (and I mean like.. muddy bathwater gross)
13. where would you like to travel if you could leave right now for a week?
honestly I’m kinda on a kick of wanting to go to london so maybe there
13. how is the weather today?
surprisingly sunny with some fluffy white clouds, meaning if I so much as walk out the door without antihistamine in me my head will feel like a stuffed up watermelon
14. what new traits would you like to see in the new add-on?
gardening ones! loves/hates warm/cold weather, and just some more general ones tbh
15. do you like to play with supernatural creatures like vampires and aliens? and if so, would you like to have witches/fairies/elves?
typically the only supernaturals I ever liked to play with were aliens but ts4 isnt all that great with them, but I do love having a variety so I would definitely like to have at least witches, zombies and werewolves again
16. what is your favorite thing to do during winter?
go walking in the snow with my pups, taking pictures, sitting and watching snow fall through a window (I can do this for HOURS), cooking/baking, listening to christmas music and watching christmas movies!
17. …during spring?
staying indoors, though I do like going to a drive to see all the flowers blooming
18. …during summer?
never going outside LOL sometimes I like going into our backyard with the firepit on and roasting marshmallows but only if its still somewhat cool - if I get hit with the sun or heat I break out into a rash on my hands and that’s no fun 😒 (as you can imagine, driving through arizona was hell, I had to cover myself with a blanket in the car rip me)
19. …during autumn?
sorta the same things as winter tbh! taking pictures, cooking/baking, going on walks and drives to see the leaves changing
20. have you already pre-ordered seasons? and if you haven’t, are you going to pre-order it or wait until it comes out?
nuope, tbh this is the only pack I would love to buy if I could!! but for now I’m still using a crack (sorry but I’m not paying $500 that I don’t have right now for the rest of the packs I need when I’ve already spent thousands on the franchise, in the future I will)
21. in which neighborhood are you going to play first with seasons?
gen 2 might still be in san myshuno when it comes out, but I’d love to see windenburg and brindleton bay during the seasons!
22. do you listen to music while playing? and if so, what are your favorite songs to play to?
sometimes, its usually just my mix of ballads I always have on (dbsk, solo super junior, exo ect) or instrumental music I grew up with (ie sanctuary series by sam reid) but most times I just have youtube on in the background watching achievement hunter lets plays or watching most haunted
23. what’s your favorite thing to do in the sims? creating sims, building, etc?
before it was always creating sims and decorating, but now I have to say my favourite thing is actually playing the game (which is a shocker for me outside of ts2) I’ve actually gotten quite into having a retail store and tbh I want to have more
24. what’s your favorite kit/pack/add-on?
so far I’d have to say pets because of the obvious
25. and finally, what add-on/pack would you like to see next?
UNIVERSITY!! I would also like to have a pack for more various jobs like in ts3 ambitions, I never realized until yesterday how much I needed the ability to have a tattoo parlor or hair salon. I’d also like a more sciencey themed pack! With bots and more mad scientist type objects
I tag @simcophogi @thatonebrobo @miniculepxls @grimsimm @pollinationqueen @moodensim 💖

Rules for requests
Hey! I really appreciate requests and happily welcome them when they are open but I do have a few rules and preferences that I would like people to know before sending in a request. (:
I do not write smut. Not only do I suck at it but it’s very challegning and difficult to write. It just makes me uncomfortable as of right now so please don’t request it.
I do appreciate requests and will try my hardest to write them but if on rare occasion I just can’t picture a scene or be able to write it properly I might choose not to write it or post it but I’ll tell you if that happens so you aren’t checking for it to be posted!
Please try to be detailed when sending in requests. I will most likely write a imagine much better when I have a image in my head of what you want, “Bellamy fluff or Carl Grimes angst” doesn’t really give me much to work with.
I do not write anything suicide related. I will write something where reader or character is sad, has anxiety, etc but I’m not comfortable writing things like suicide or anything like that. I’m sorry.
If you request an imagine and you’re gender fluid or identify as a male please include that in the request as I usually write from a girls perspective but I want my account to be a safe space for everyone.
Here are the characters, series, or movies I’m interested in or educated on.
my preferred are in bold
Bellamy Blake, The 100
Carl Grimes, The Walking Dead
Enid, The Walking Dead
Raven Reyes, The 100
Jonathan Byers, Stranger Things
John Murphy, The 100
Jasper Jordan, The 100
Carl Gallagher, Shameless
Steve Harrington, Stranger Things
Anakin Skywalker, Star Wars
Klaus Mikaelson, The Originals
Rebekah Mikaelson, The Originals
Kylo Ren, Star Wars
Rick Grimes, The Walking Dead
Dean Winchester, Supernatural
Stiles Stilinski, The Walking Dead
Sam Winchester, Supernatural
Clarke Griffin, The 100
Cassie Howard, Euphoria
Peter Parker, Marvel
Glenn Rhee, The Walking Dead
Spencer Reid, Criminal Minds
Hope Mikaelson, Legacies
There are definitely more, I just updated this on 4/7/21 and have watched and connected with many more characters since I wrote this so, if there’s a character you want to request that’s not here there’s no harm in trying!
If you don’t follow the rules your request will not be accepted.
Please only request when requests are open.
