I decided to try out my dehydrated soup veggies. It worked really well! My mix has Carrots, celery, yellow onion, green onion, green pepper, red and orange bell pepper, diced tomato, peas, corn, parsley, sea salt and fresh cracked black pepper, 2/3rds cup soup veg and 1/2 cup pasta to make soup I flavored today's batch with Old Bay to kick it up a little. Very tasty! Cooked in just under 15min with the Toaks Spirit Burner and Toaks Pot holder. Cooked in Toaks 900ml pot and stirred with Toaks folding spoon, everything is titanium. Finished up this moose hide pouch. Made from chocolate and cork moosehide from @tribalspiritmusic with a deer hide suede fringe. Completely hand cut and sewn with artificial sinew. We took the dogs for a walk and it was nice but it hasn't scratched my itch go for a hike. I have a new Stanley Cook and Prep set to try out with my Trangiq spirit burne for coffee and a snack. Those bags at the top are new as well. Sami coffee pouches. I use the big one to hold my day hiking snacks and the small one is the perfect size for the Stanley Adventure Cook and Prep set. 1.5L pot, Strainer lid it's just like the small pot lid but larger. I'm anxiously awaiting warmer weather! Cold icy and crazy here in Regina today. This is my NATO Replica Pack. I've had it about a year now and used it a few times. Its nice to have a heavy canvas backpack with decent straps on it. I'm considering trying to wax the canvas but I have to do a little research and see how to go about it. I could also treat it with linseed oil from some reading I've done, again would have to learn how to do it as I go from an internet resource but it's a well made pack so I think I'd like to give it a water proofing. The other option is just use a trash compactor liner to waterproof just the main compartment and leave it canvas but I really think I'd like to try a traditional waterproofing.
