Like it physically hurts to watch. Loud laughter and chattering was heard on Thousand Sunny now that lunch is ready and the crew is happily eating together..

“Oi Luffy..! That meat is mine, get your own!” Zoro shouts, scolding his captain who stole the meat that was meant for him.

“Bleeehh, mine now, shishishi..!” Teases the captain, munching on the drumstick in his hand, pissing the moss haired male.

“I'll slice you up, you shithead!” Threatened Zoro, grabbing the sword by his waist—stopped by the one and only God Usopp.

“Whoops! Zoro, calm down and just eat, because if you don't.. Luffy will finish your food, hehe..” The sniper stated, calming the swordsman who huffed, going back to eating.

“Haha, Luffy, you already ate a lot, yet you're still not full?” You snickered to the captain who gobbled down every food in his sight.

“Yeeaaahh! Mah stomach ishn't full yet, so am gonna eat more!!” Luffy exclaims with his mouth filled with various food he got from his crew members.

“Ah? Then here, have some more. I already got my fill anyway.” Offering your food, Luffy's eyes shone brightly, a big, bright smile on his face.

“Uhwhuaaaahhh! Food!” Biting on the food you offered, Luffy muttered a ‘thanks’ and took your leftover meal, continuing to eat with a smile. “Thanks, Y/n, you're such a good friend..!”

Hearing his words, the table went quiet—especially you, who's heart stung with pain from the words you received from Luffy, the man you're crushing on..

“Eh? Why's everyone suddenly so quiet?” Luffy innocently asks, tilting his head to the side as he munched his food..

“A-Ah, it's.. It's nothing, just go on and continue eating, don't mind it...” Whispering your words with a stammer, you flashed a smile, hiding the pain your heart is experiencing..

“Mhmm, okay, let's continue to eat!” He commands as the crew nods in silence—eyeing each other, then to looking you.

“Y/n, you good..?” Nami asks through a whisper, looking at you with a small pout on her face as Robin used her hana hana no mi powers to bloom a hand to soothe you, patting your back..

“I'm.. I'm good, yeah.” You murmured, eyes taking a quick glance to Luffy who brushed off the happening as if it's nothing..

“Don't mind Luffy-san's words, Y/n-san. He's just like that.. Uhm, friendly.” Brook uttered, pouring you a cup of tea for you to drink.

“Y/n, Luffy is oblivious and dumb, so ignore him..!” Sanji grumbles, comforting you in silence along with the rest of the crew while Luffy, the captain, still ignored what everything was happening around him...

A few days passed since that day, and you've been trying your best to make Luffy realize that you like him, but the male is just too oblivious to you—worse, he treated you the same, he made you feel that you really are just a friend to him, which hurted you even more.. Until....

“Heeeeyyy! Where's Y/n?” Luffy asks, searching for you in almost every corner in the ship.

“Y/n is in their room changing, Luffy!” Chopper chimes, swinging his feet as he sipped the juice Sanji made him.

“Ohh? Are they gonna be done soon? I'm boreeed, and I already miss their presenceeeee!” He exclaims with a pout, chidishly rolling on the floor, muttering your name.

“Just wait for a few more minutes, Luffy! They're gonna be done SUUUPEERRRR soon, yeaah!!” Franky gushed, doing his signature pose as he spoke.

“...But wait, did you just say—” “THAT YOU MISS THEIR PRESENCE!!???”

Exclaims the whole crew, eyes bugging out of their sockets as they looked at their captain in disbelief..

“Yeah! I miss them already, I want to chat with Y/n!” Confirming what he said, Luffy smiled—while Nami covered her mouth in shock..

“Oh my! Is this for real now..?” She muttered, followed by Robin's slightly dark words, “Yes, after Y/n's heart was coldly stabbed by the man they love, it turns out that he cares for them..”

“Ho~? This is unbelievable and shocking..” Zoro mutters with a smirk, drinking his sake as he did. And Usopp, who's beside him, had his jaw drop to the ground..

“Luffy... You.. D-Do you..... DO YOU LIKE Y/N!?” Usopp asks with a loud boom of his voice, recomposing himself and immediately dashing to the captain—gripping his shoulders tightly.

“Eh? Like? Mhm..” Thinking for a moment as he sat down the floor with crossed feet and arms, Luffy's cheeks got dusted with a faint blush—his mouth curving upwards to a smile before he answered,

“I like them, of course! They make me feel happy the whole time, and I love spending my time with them! I love them..!” Luffy confessed with an exclaim, looking bright as ever like the sun—but the brightness dimmed soon later...

“..If.... If only they liked me back, man.. I'd be happy as heck..” Luffy mutters in a gloomy tone, his words making the whole crew explode..

“ARE YOU SERIOUS RIGHT NOW, LUFFY!?” “OH MY GOD, I KNOW THAT YOU'RE DUMB AND OBLIVIOUS, BUT THIS IS TOO MUCH FOR ME.” “WHAT THE HELL DUDE!??”

....Shouting incoherent scolds at Luffy, you then emerged out of your room with tears in your eyes, choking on your own sobs—catching everyone's attention, especially Luffy's..

“Y/n...!” Luffy shouts in panic, dashing to you, “W..Why are you crying? Are.. Are you okay!? I'll kick the ass of those who made you cry!” He assures, his calloused hands gently touching yours, taking it in his..

“Luffy...” You called, wiping your tears that doesn't seem to stop flowing, “You're the one who's—w-who's making me cry, you idiot..” You sobbed as Luffy's eyes widened.

“E-Eh!? M..Me..!?? Wait, so do I kick my own ass..? Ah, no! Sanji, kick me, like a lot of times, and hard too! Because.. Because I made Y/n cry...” Croaks the raven-haired male, ready to face the consequences of making you cry, accepting his fault..

“..N..No! Sanji, don't, okay—and Luffy, p-please let me talk first..” You shrieked, taking Luffy's hand and dragging his figure back to you that left to get beated by Sanji.

“Don't worry, Y/n. I won't kick this idiot's ass... Well, yet. So yeah, just talk with this oblivious guy.” Walking away with a smile on his face, Sanji dragged the crew away from you and Luffy—letting you talk with him. Alone.

“Y/n! I'm sorry I made you cry, please forgive me!” Begged the male, a worried look plastered on his face as he stood in front of you in guilt..

“No, no... These aren't sad tears, Luffy.. These are... Happy tears..” You admitted, smiling to the male who had his mouth agape.

“..Happy? Why?” He asks, taking a step closer to you. “Because Luffy...”

Looking at his eyes with a soft expression displayed on your face, you continued, “Because you like me too.”

Not believing his ears, Luffy took his time to process what you said, your words ringing inside his mind repeatedly.

“Y-You like me.. Back!?” He exclaims, still in disbelief—while you, on the other hand, just nodded with a smile.

“I'm—I'm so happy, Y/n! I like—ah, no, I love you!” Immediately dashing towards you with open arms, Luffy embraced you tightly, not letting go of you as he confessed his feelings for you.

“I love you too, Luffy..” Hugging the male back, you two embraced each other, happy for the reciprocal of feelings.. Now, starting a life with each other as lovers..
