GULYÁS MÁRTON! TESSÉK AZ ALAPMŰVEKET ELOLVASNI!

Rövidnek kell lennem, mert az Ágnes azt mondja, hogy ha hosszút írok, azt nem olvassák el. A töpörtyűs sztorim, az ritka kivétel.

Szóval: ma délelőtt végre kihúzták a Havasné fogát, hazajöttünk, megebédeltem, aztán megkérdeztem magamtól, hogy nem kellene-e végignéznem Gulyás Márton interjúját Kőszeg Ferenccel a Partizánon, hiszen boldog-boldogtalan azzal foglalkozik? Végignéztem a rövidített, nagyjából 1 óra 40 perces változatot, és két megjegyzésem van.

1. Ez a Gulyás Márton pont olyan aprólékosan felkészült és totálisan tehetségtelen, mint a Sanyika. Ha hozzám járt volna az egyetemre, akkor tudhatná, hogy nem árt, ha fejben tartja azt a hírszerkesztői örök igazságot, miszerint mindig abból kell kiindulni, hogy az olvasó, illetve a néző először találkozik egy témával, ezért nem árt, ha legalább az elején összefoglaljuk, hogy mégis miről van szó. Ebből következően, mondjuk egy mai egyetemistának semmit nem mond -sajnos- a Szabad Kezdeményezések Hálózata, vagy az, hogy miképpen készült, és kiknek a közreműködésével a Beszélő, ki az a Magyar Bálint, aki létrehozta, majd tönkretette az SZDSZ-t, nem is folytatom. Szinte követhetetlen volt az első egy óra.

2. Ahogy elnéztem délután az internetet, ma Magyarországon a legfontosabb kérdés az, hogy Kőszeg Ferenc, a Helsinki Bizottság alapítója, támogatja-e a pedofíliát vagy nem. Nekem csak egy nagyon halk kérdésem van: se Kőszeg Ferenc, se a szorgalmas Gulyás Márton nem olvasta Thomas Manntól a Halál Velencében című könyvet, és hogy a jóisten faszába nem hozták szóba Nabokov Lolitáját? Hogy a picsába van az, hogy amikor azon polemizál két ember, hogy idős férfinek joga van-e erotikus kapcsolathoz egy fiatal lánnyal, és meg bírják állni, hogy ezt a két alapművet nem hozzák szóba?

Thomas Mann – most hagyjuk, hogy voltak-e homoszexuális hajlamai vagy nem – arról ír, hogy egy idősödő írót hogyan csábít el egy velencei szállodában a családjával ott nyaraló, lengyel fiúcska.

A Lolita nagyjából ugyanerről szól, azzal a különbséggel, hogy a csábító ebben az esetben egy fruska.

Végül: Gulyás Márton körülbelül olyan szinten van, mint annak idején a társam, Forró Tamás vagy ami a legrosszabb, Hajdú Péter, akik képesek voltak az összes, felírt kérdést feltenni, és gondosan ügyeltek arra, hogy egyetlen, kollégák által kiválasztott bejátszás se maradjon ki.

Na, azt azért nem állom meg, hogy ne írjam le, még Ágnes is egyetért velem abban, hogy Kőszeg Ferenc nem egy vén, demens, hülye. Mielőtt még vérszemet kapna valamelyik idióta a Fidesz környékén, csak ismételni tudom Kőszeg Ferencet: a pedofília tűrhetetlenül büntetendő, és nem állom meg, hogy ne ismételjem meg: hogy a büdös francba lehetett több, mint húsz percig beszélgetni egy ilyen kényes témáról anélkül, hogy szóba kerülne a Halál Velencében vagy a Lolita? Már elnézést, de azért ez a műsor mégse a Hír TV-ben ment le! (Ágnes: ,,A Kőszeg még a legelején megemlítette Babitstól a Halálfiai című regényt, de azt meg Gulyás nem olvasta.” Mentségére: én se.)

Majdnem elfelejtettem, miután végigszenvedtem a Gulyás Márton interjúját, lejöttem a kertbe, a diófa alá. Elkezdtem olvasni a húgomtól kapott, Az igazi (Márai Sándor) című könyvet, mire megjelent Havasné a tálcával. Libazsíros kenyér zöldhagymával, külön, kis tálkában a só! Hát állítsa valaki azt, hogy nem fejlődőképes az emberiség! Egyébként a sörért nekem kellett bemenni, de ez már tényleg apróság. (Az Ágnes megint riheg-röhög, vannak kedvenc hozzászólásai, de ezekre én fittyet hányok.)

Elma Lewis (September 15, 1921 – January 1, 2004) was an influential educator and advocate for the arts. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of immigrant parents from the West Indies. She was a product of the Boston public school system and earned a BA from Emerson College while working as an actress. She earned an MA in Education from Boston University.

She opened the Elma Lewis School of Fine Arts in 1950 in the Roxbury neighborhood of Boston. Originally housed out of an apartment, the school quickly grew and expanded. She formed a friendship with Eli Goldston and was able to have the old Hebrew Academy and Synagogue building in Roxbury appraised at 1.4 million and then donated to become the site of the Elma Lewis School.

She taught ballet to impoverished kids in Roxbury partly to show them the possibilities of their bodies and minds and thus remind them that they could overcome their circumstances. Her students went on to careers in entertainment, and the arts, and some have opened their specialized schools as well. Students like Ipyana Wasret, a renowned art curator, and writer Sayif M. Sanyika, credit their success to the foundations they obtained from her school. To expand the arts in her community and get drug dealers out of the area, she created a summer theater program, Playhouse in the Park, and brought in musicians ranging from Duke Ellington to the Boston Pops Orchestra.

She founded the National Center of Afro-American Artists as an umbrella organization for her school and similar programs throughout the nation. Although the Lewis school closed in 1986, the NCAAA continues to carry out the mission she envisioned.

She was awarded a MacArthur Foundation Fellowship for her work in cultural development in Boston’s Roxbury. She received the Presidential Medal for the Arts from President Ronald Reagan. Sanyika Shakur

Minden kornak megvannak a maga kedvenc részeg színészei, a nyolcvanas években volt ugye Katona János („anyucikám, dehogyis iszok, itt vagyok a szervízben…” stb.), aztán Forgács Gábor, a jódlizó részeg, aki még bandzsított is a nagyobb hatás kedvéért, meg minden. Mindkettő óriási Művész, de a részeg alakítások Paganinije mégis csak Pethes Sándor volt.

Pethes Művész Úr amúgy kb. az összes magyar filmben játszott! Főszerepet ugyan soha, mindig csak 1-2 percre bukkant fel, de az legalább tökéletes volt. Első filmszerepét 1924-ben kapta, az utolsó mozija 1981-es, ez majd 60 év a kamera előtt, akárhogy is nézzük.

Amúgy az apja, Pethes Imre, a Monarchia színészkirályaként tündökölt, Cyranot, Bánkot, Leart és Hamletet játszott, a Nemzeti Büszkesége volt, akit Ady, Kosztolányi és Molnár Ferenc istenített. Szóval elég nyomasztó színészbölény lehetett. 😊 Sanyika viszont nagyon nem úgy nézett ki, mint egy hősszínész, hagyta is ezt a fenébe. Nem próbált apja nyomdokaiba lépni, inkább az epizodisták királya lett. Nagyon helyesen! Így csak 1938-ban 18 filmben szerepelt, más színésznek az életben nem jut ennyi. 😊

Minden létező foglalkozást eljátszott, volt báró, gróf, kifőzdés, anyakönyvvezető, tanár, szobrász, orvos, hírlapíró, könyvelő, játékosügynök, parkett táncos, elmegyógyintézeti beteg, ügyvéd, lakáj, féltékeny férj, szerkesztő, magánnyomozó, titkár, bankár, inas, igazgató, pincér, jegyző, főhadnagy, vegetáriánus, tűzoltóparancsnok, sofőr, vőlegény, forgalmista, cigányprímás, szájharmonikás a vonaton😊 Az imdb olyanokat sorol fel még, hogy „részeg vendég”, „kocsmai részeg”, „a báró bohém barátja”, „a részeges kalligráfus” és így tovább. 😊

Leginkább persze a link úriember szerepek álltak jól neki 😊 Emiatt ’45 után sem játszattak vele soha melóst, a Rákosi-korszakban ilyen kispályás reakciósokat alakított, aztán megint mindent 😊

Jöjjön is egy összeállítás a karakter-király ittas szerepeiből. 😊 A Művész úr hol spicces, hol atomrészeg, énekel, csetlik-botlik-dülöngél, flörtöl, másokat idegesít vagy szórakoztat, sztorizik, táncol. Mindegyik lenyűgöző kabinetalakítás 😊 Van egy bejátszás a Bors István című filmből is, ahol egy italos ügyvédjelöltet alakít (41 évesen) 😊 Felmerül a kérdés, hogy beugorjanak-e a kocsmába, mire a válasza: „Jogilag nincs akadálya.” 😊 Hatalmas poén, mindjárt megpusztolok a röhögéstől 😊 LEL

I know that what he did was wrong....but I can't help but see a child rather than some "scary unhinged monster" he is usually painted to be. Or a joke. A meme. Didn't win the race and allat.

When I first heard his music and then saw that he immediately went to jail, I felt strange. I could hear the talent in his delivery and had he been given the right guidance and resources, he would've gone on to create something great.

But you know, I wonder if he would've wanted to do that, even if he was free. I sometimes notice that people who have lived that life have no interest in arts, just what is infront of them, what is reality to them. Does it make money? Does it prevent them from being in danger? That type of stuff.

Because it seems like the arts is like....a fairy tale to them? Kinda like how poverty is a fairy tale to upper middle class/upper class people?

I know that the victims of his actions suffered real pain. I don't deny that at all and I don't mean to trivialise it. Sure, he should pay for his crimes. But I genuinely feel like...he's not the problem, he's a symptom of it. I mean, he's 15. The thing is, he should've never been holding a gun or living that sort of lifestyle in the first place. So how did he end up in that position?

And it's so messed up that we glamourise this type of stuff. We like it. We encourage it. We want to see young children holding guns, following the footsteps of their older counterparts, "carrying the mantle". What mantle? Violence? Ignorance? Like I'm sorry but that's what it really is. It's like people joining the military for legacy reasons. Except it's on the streets, it's "colored", it's "poor", and therefore it's illegal.

My grandpa and my dad was like that. Not that they lived that lifestyle but they were surrounded by people that did, and whether they realise it or not they internalised similar values and passed them down. I had to do a lot of inner work to undo it and I still haven't managed to undo everything. I can't imagine myself having a child because I'm scared I'll pass something down to them myself. Because I'm not gonna lie, I can't disagree when I say that violence and ignorance has a lot of appeal. I mean, a lot. And in some circumstances it's scary to be otherwise, to not be aggressive, to not be angry. Because it could mean you're vulnerable, and vulnerability is incredibly scary depending on the context. (Because there are environments that encourages and actively requires some form of "vulnerability", or at the very least a feigning of it, or else you're a "threat" and a "delinquent".)

But at the end of the day, at least what I personally realised was that, we just all want to be seen and treated as human. That's all. Violence is just a means to it. Just like feigning vulnerability or politeness.

And it's funny cause what happened to Tay-K in the end as he strived to uphold those things (that at this point, could be considered "tradition", because I define "tradition" as "peer pressure from your ancestors/predecessors")? Incarcerated for 55 years and won't be eligible for parole until 2047, especially since his "friends" took a plea deal and threw him under the bus while he kept his mouth shut, and he also became a bit of a joke/meme. Or sometimes people just think it's a cool thing to say "free Tay-K!" but really, it's just a trendy motto moreso than anything said with sincerety.

It reminds me of a quote from Sanyika "Monster" Shakur, who said in an interview how people that "shine the brightest" end up incarcerated forever or dead so "what you really want is a nice little glow".

And think about the song he blew up from. "The Race"? He made that song/video while actively trying to dodge arrest and then the video went up on the day he was captured. It blew up because of the hashtag #FREETAYK and debuted at #70 on the Billboards. Then a whole bunch of other musicians, with nothing to do with his lifestyle or his experiences, remixed his song and capitalized off of his hype. The hype from his arrest and "authenticity" of the "gang lifestyle" behind the song or whatever the fuck. Like....is it just me? Do none of ya'll think there's something sick about this?

(But that seems to be a running theme for musicians/cultural icons anyways, especially the ones that had any sort of message. Like Bob Marley or Tupac, they're just icons to put on shirts or whatever with quotes, to sell merchandise and to "act cool" with.)

I tried to choose photos where Tay-K wasn't holding a gun or trying to uphold some image. Because I think he's human and that's how he should be seen. (I know he's doing "American Sign Language" with his hands but lets be honest, who wasn't this ignorant as a child? I have a few photos looking this stupid myself. I know, I'm such an adorable farty potato fairy today but I had my moments.)

I don't know. The older I get, the more minstrelsy and anti-human the whole "culture" feels. Well, not necessarily the "culture", but rather the people perpetuating whatever ideas they have of it whether it is that they "sell" or "buy" the "product".
