Seitokai Yakuindomo 2nd Feature Film Releases Key Visual, 1st Trailer for July 10, 2020 Release

    The official website for the anime adaptation project based on Tozen Ujiie's four-panel school comedy manga Seitokai Yakuindomo has posted a key visual and a 45-second teaser trailer for its forthcoming second feature film. Despite the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, its release date in Japan has not yet been changed from the original date of July 10, 2020. The 60-minute first film Seitokai Yakuindomo: The Movie was released on July 21, 2017.

      All of the main voice cast and staff are confirmed to come back for the second film. Hiromitsu Kanazawa (Princess Lover!, W'z), who directed all of the previous series, returns to the director's chair at GoHands, alongside character designer/chief animation director Makoto Furuta. 

  The second edition of the film's advance tickets with the four-type tin badges are now available at theaters.

Seitokai Yakuindomo, locandina e primo teaser del nuovo film

Il lungometraggio sbarcherà nei cinema giapponesi il 10 luglio.

Pubblicati un nuovo poster e un teaser trailer per il secondo film d’animazione tratto dal popolare manga “Seitokai Yakuindomo” di Ujiie Tozen. Il prossimo adattamento animato dell’irriverente commedia farà il suo esordio nelle sale giapponesi il 10 luglio, scanso posticipi a causa dell’emergenza COVID-19 in Giappone. 

Il lungometraggio è diretto e sceneggiato ancora una volta Hiromichi Kanazawa (K, W’z, Seitokai Yukuindomo) presso GoHands (K, Mardock Scramble). Il character design è di nuovo ad opera di Makoto Furuta, che si occupa anche di supervisionare le animazioni, mentre le musiche sono curate da Yuya Mori.

Il cast rimane lo stesso dei precedenti adattamenti, con l’aggiunta di Miho Okasaki (Rimuru Tempest in That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime) nei panni di Yuu Hirose:

La scuola superiore femminile Ousai Academy ha appena deciso di aprire le porte anche all'altro sesso. Iniziano così le avventure per la matricola Takatoshi Tsuda che viene costretto ad assumere la carica di vicepresidente del consiglio studentesco come unico ragazzo all'interno di un gruppo di sole donne: la bellissima e inflessibile Shino Amakusa, la piccola e terribile Suzu Hagimura, e la dolce Aria Shichijo

Il manga ha iniziato la sua pubblicazione nel 2007 nella rivista Weekly Shounen Magazine. L’opera ha già ispirato due stagioni televisive di 13 episodi ciascuna, un film d’animazione, uscito nei cinema giapponesi il 21 luglio 2017 e ben svariati OVA.

Seitokai Yakuindomo Anime to Return with Its 2nd Film on July 10, 2020

King Amusement Creative officially announced today that a second anime feature film adaptation of Tozen Ujiie's four-panel school comedy manga Seitokai Yakuindomo is set to be released in Japan on July 10, 2020.

  The manga has been serialized in Kodansha's Weekly Shonen Magazine since 2008 and has released 18 tankobon volumes so far. Its first TV anime adaptation by GoHands was aired for 13 episodes from July to September 2010, and its second season followed with another 13 episodes from January to March 2014. Then a 60-minute first film Seitokai Yakuindomo: The Movie was released in Japan on July 21, 2017.  

  While no plot details are currently available, all of the main voice cast and staff are confirmed to come back. Hiromitsu Kanazawa (Princess Lover!, W'z), who directed all of the previous series, of course returns to the director's chair at GoHands, alongside character designer/chief animation director Makoto Furuta.

  The first edition of its advance tickets with a clear file will go on sale at theaters from December 27, 2019.
