...OK so... For me personally it doesn't change anything to my plans. The main reason I want to marry them is because in 2020 Trump called a travel ban on people from my country to the US, and the democrats didn't get us out of that one either for a year after that. I think most people forgot anyway. I've lived in fear of such a travel ban coming back ever since because it was horrible to bear with, so now that the guy who put up the travel ban on my country is back, if anything, I'm more determined than ever to marry them and join them over there, so we can be reunited and protected against any such form of separation before he fucks up any chances for that again.

That said... That's one very specific part of the picture and I have yet to discuss it with THEM properly yet. So I don't wanna project my own choices on them. I don't wanna get them stuck in a situation they'd rather not be in. So we'll see I guess. But as far as I'm concerned I'm still down to head to that dumpster fire anyway and face it with them if it must be so. To be honest, even if I stick to my position in France, the US has an art of making what happens in their country everyone's business, with consequences all over the world, and I'm expecting it to be even more the case with him, so I don't think other countries will be particularly safe either.

Y’know, looking back on it, it really is a shame that Ben 10 Vs Green Lantern is marred by so much controversy and toxicity, because honestly? It’s really solid matchup in concept.

In terms of connections, they’re green-colored heroes given astounding abilities by alien artifacts of great power, who serve as members of intergalactic peacekeeping organizations.

In terms of fight potential, they both have absolutely ridiculous amounts of versatility, with Ben having dozens of shown aliens in-series and over a million canonically, and the Green Lantern Ring is literally just “whatever Hal thinks, happens”. Their cocky personalities would let them bounce off each other well personality-wise too.

In terms of debate… well, it’s still argued about to this day, sooooo-

actual antlered helms seem to be reserved for members of house baratheon BUT☝ there r other ways to incorporate the stag element into the KG armor that doesnt entirely rely on the horns

the first is the use of stag themed accessories and embroidery. I imagine that'd be for when the KG are off duty/not wearing armor/ceremonial garbs but the embroidery of their capes with white/silver thread, while subtle and not even noticeable from afar, both give it come additional texture while keeping it bland and show their actual allegiance. theres also stag pins for capes etc etc.

the second (and the simplest i guess) is armor engravings !!! also gives additional texture to the design BUT☝ is the way I'd chose to replace the scaled armor of the targaryen era as its more structured and much more what I imagine the stormland armor would look like.

the kingsguard armor (and general look) is meant to be rather bland in comparison to the lords and other knights of the realm with the caveat being that they're seemingly allowed to pick their own accessories, swords and helms. helmets seem to be of their own choice but if not. i imagine they can be decorated too

now i think most of this applies to the targaryen era kingsguards too (the main difference being the style of armor shifting over decades) BUT☝ im also a believer in them and them only having the scaled chainmail. it doesnt go with the baratheons. robert can stick with basic chainmail with additional details elsewhere
