According to Israel Hayom, Rep. Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) has recently begun to meet with “Jewish leaders in her election district.”
OK, so Ariel Kahanah, who reported the story, doesn’t know that AOC represents NY 14, which includes the eastern part of The Bronx and part of north-central Queens. The Queens portion includes Astoria, College Point, Corona, East Elmhurst, Elmhurst, Jackson Heights, and Woodside. The Bronx portion of the district includes City Island, Country Club, Van Nest, Morris Park, Parkchester, Pelham Bay, Schuylerville, and Throggs Neck.

I checked the UJA databank on the Jewish community of NY 14. It has 26,300 individuals who define themselves as Jews, out of roughly 700,000 residents, who are 50% Hispanic, 17% Asian, and 9% Black.
Out of the Jewish population, 8,400 are 65 and older––1,500 of whom live alone, and 12,400 are ages 40 to 64. 7,600 are poor or near-poor. 3,000 are of Russian origin. 5,600 are biracial. Fewer than 7,000 attend any synagogue, be it Orthodox, Conservative, or Reform.
In other words, AOC very likely did not meet with Jewish leaders in her election district. According to Israel Hayom, she held several closed meetings with a group of rabbis and Jewish leaders, men and women, who belong to the progressive wing of the Jewish community and some of whom are close to J Street.
And this is the bag where the AOC cat has been hiding all along. AOC met with progressive Jews from J Street and similar anti-Zionist, anti-Israel circles. And the reason she had to keep those meetings secret is that even those lefty Jews are kind of pariahs to the squad caucus.

The attorney for Kevin Monahan told a Washington County jury Thursday that his “old man” client fatally shot 20-year-old Kaylin Gillis by accident on April 15 using a defective shotgun while under the mistaken impression that the young woman and her friends were bikers threatening his rural home in Hebron. “This was a terrible accident. Somebody should have realized that by now,” Arthur Frost, the attorney for Monahan, said in his opening statement before County Judge Adam Michelini. The builder was in his home on a mountainside when, according to his attorney, he awoke to the sound of a rumbling motorcycle. Frost said his client, a professional motorcycle racer, worried that bikers and possible “reinforcements” were coming after him. The attorney said Monahan handed a revolver to his wife, Jinx, told her to hide in the closet, then walked outside to confront the would-be intruders. He said Monahan was armed with a 20-gauge shotgun that the lawyer contends will fire without the trigger being pulled. He promised jurors an expert witness would support that opinion. Frost, who repeatedly cast his 66-year-old client as an elderly man who lives in an extremely rural area, said Monahan walked onto his wraparound deck and spotted a motorcycle and two sports utility vehicles that appeared to block any possible escape. He said Monahan fired one warning shot to scare away the vehicles, then stumbled and “bangs the gun and it goes off.”  He said Monahan later learned the second shot struck Gillis, of Schuylerville. The first-floor courtroom of Michelini was crowded with more than 50 observers, including Gillis’ family, media and court employees. Monahan faces 25 years to life in state prison if convicted of second-degree murder, reckless endangerment and tampering with evidence.

I honestly didn't know the Hamiltons took in John Bradstreet's son! Are there any reports of his stay at their place?
Not much is known about Philip Bradstreet Schuyler, or about his time at the Hamilton's.
Philip B. Schuyler was born on the 26, of October, 1788. When his father, John Bradstreet Schuyler (The seventh child and eldest surviving son of Philip and Catharine Schuyler), died August 19, 1795; Philip B. was just shy of his 8th birthday. His grandfather, Philip Schuyler, was appointed his guardian, but he was taken in by the Hamilton's. Yet it seems like he was sorta co-parented by the Hamilton's and P. Schuyler.
Philip B. stayed with the Hamilton's for an unspecified amount of time, Allan McLane says that he; “spent most of his early life with them.”
That summer, when the Hamilton's moved back into New York, Philip B. - alongside the rest of the Hamilton boys (Philip H., Alexander Jr, and James) - was taught on Staten Island, at Bishop Moore's school;
“John Bradstreet, the eldest son, to whom the estate of Saratoga was given, had married Elizabeth Van Rensselaer, the sister of the Patroon Stephen, the husband of Margaret Schuyler. His married life was brief. He died a few years after, leaving a boy, Philip, to be the representative of the name. This boy was sent to the Hamiltons', and with young Cortland Schuyler and the Hamilton boys went to Bishop Moore's school for boys on Staten Island, returning to New York Friday evenings to spend Sundays with the Hamiltons.”
(source — Catherine Schuyler, by Mary Gay Humphreys)
His grandfather kept a close eye on his studies;
“I am persuaded my Philip will acquit himself well, I have remarked with great pleasure when at New York, that his judgement was already sound, and that he promised to be a good scholar.”
(source — Philip Schuyler to Elizabeth Hamilton, [August 10, 1800])

“What arrangements can be made for your nephew Philip I wish him to be at his ordinary studies until he entres college pray consider of, and write me on the subject.”
(source — Philip Schuyler to Elizabeth Hamilton, [April 30, 1802])

Philip B. remained dependent on the Hamiltons even during college;
“During his collegiate course he lived in New York, and for part of the time in the family of his talented uncle, Alexander Hamilton; a rare privilege, that, for a young man in the formative period of his life.”
(source — The Story of Old Saratoga: The Burgoyne Campaign, to which is Added New York's Share in the Revolution, by John Henry Brandow)
Being an only child, Philip B. inherited most of his grandfather's and father's famed estate in Old Saratoga, New York (Schuylerville). Philip B. married Grace Hunter - sister of John Hunter of Hunter's Island - in New York, September 12th, 1811.

American Progress: The Saratoga Monument And An Apple Orchard. McMansions Everywhere
I love American history in the unique way the children of immigrants do.  My family knew only too well what it meant not to be free. This was the promised land for my family, the first place on the earth where they might feel safe and free. Whenever I go into Saratoga, often these days, I go through Schuylerville, named after the slave-owning General who led the Army that won the Battle of…

Monahan told jurors he believed he was “under siege” on the evening of April 15 and facing an “invasion” outside his home on Patterson Hill Road in rural Hebron when he came out with his 20-gauge pump action shotgun to try to scare the group away. Gillis died from the second of two shotgun blasts prosecutors say he fired at an SUV after Gillis and her friends got lost and turned around in his driveway. It struck the Schuylerville woman in the neck. “My only job is to protect my wife,” the salt-and-pepper haired Monahan, clad in a dark suit and tie, said during questioning by his attorney, Arthur Frost.  Monahan said he initially fired a warning shot at the intruders outside his property, but they did not leave. He testified under cross-examination that the shot was an attempt to begin a conversation with the group. “I wanted them to give me some indication of what their intent is,” Monahan testified. “The warning shot, to me, is almost like starting a dialogue.”

Have You Ever Loves Your Dentist And His Or Her Staff?
I went to get my teeth cleaned at Dr. Jacob Merryman’s Merry Man Family Dentistry in Schuylerville, New York, this afternoon. My teeth are in good shape; my implant went very well. Everyone has a different story about dentists in America; mine was unpleasant. I always dreaded going to the dentist; it was something I often had to do but hated to do. I was struck by the fact that I looked forward…
