I've moved on to book 2 of the Science of Victory trilogy. The grand majority of Ivan Tsaritsyn's chauvinistic crusade is behind me now. The last 2 books in the trilogy are significantly shorter than the first one, around 100 pages each, I think. The second book is about a hostage terrorism situation that takes place on Halloween. The first book was anti-witchcraft, and the second is anti-Halloween, I guess. Pretty serendipitous that I started reading it during October. I'm not sure what the final book in the trilogy is about. Not even the trilogy's Wikipedia page, or the book's own summary on the pirating site, said so. I'll have to read it to find out. I suspect that it isn't a proper ending to the series, but rather, the author simply stopped writing because the clout from writing trashy anti-Harry Potter pro-military propaganda dried up.

On the last 14 chapters of this book. Once I'm done reading it, I'll be able to print and fanbind it. Except I'm not an actual fan, so I'll be... hatebinding it? I guess??

Also. The guy who explained this to Ivan did not even do petty theft to him. He literally ASKED for his possessions POLITELY which. Isn't actually petty theft. Hilarious.

I am halfway done reading Children Against Wizards

Children Against Wizards Part 2 Chapter 9 should be considered a war crime. I think. I knew this book was racist but this is the worst of it I've seen so far.

- Main character Ivan Tsaritsyn assumes the alchemy teacher vaguing about no-good alcoholics was talking about Zulu people (The teacher was talking about him) (Ivan isn't actually an alcoholic the teacher just said that because he's Russian) (They're both racist)

- The alchemy teacher is a Jewish caricature who loves money a lot and tells his students to worship money

- A Japanese student is referred to as a J*p (Derogatory outdated term)

- She's not in this chapter but also. There is a Hawaiian student named Aluluhaloa Maunaloa. She is described as fat and flat-faced and ugly. I hate it here.

😭 I just checked, and Children Against Wizards has 580 pages. 580! I'm only on page 84 or something! The protagonist hasn't even arrived at the titular wizard school yet! Compiling it in Google Docs will take forever... I'm still going through with this though. Probably. This book is going to be massive when I finally bind it

Because it may be hard to read: "I'm going to do this to Leonard Ryabinovsky. This isn't an extremely bizarre and far-removed euphemism that indicates my like or dislike of him. He is a character in a book that I will pirate. With this bookbinding method. Except my book will be red, and have more holes in it."

Leonard is Harry Potter, but trans and the Science of Victory's bad guy. I am not kidding.

(I have also pirated Leonard himself and turned him into my own oc, but that's an entirely different thing I'm not going to get into. Yet. Maybe.)
