"WHAT THE HELL THEODORE!" You were trying to make sense of everything you had been told by the boy who you thought was the love of your life. Your lover.

"Baby, it didn't mean anything to me, I promise. She came onto me and I just didn't know what to do." Your (soon-to-be-ex) boyfriend was stood up now, raking his hands through his hair. Hands that you thought would hold yours forever.

"Yeah, and she didn't mean anything when you took her up here and slept with her. That's not the kind of mistake someone makes, Theodore." Every time you called him Theodore, it pained you slightly. You never called him Theodore. Hardly anyone did. To you, he was Theo, Teddy, Baby, and if you were frustrated, Nott. Never Theodore. And to him, you using his full name was like a stab in the heart.

"Look, darling I'm sorry. I was drunk. I wasn't thinking straight." Theo was stressing out now. He loved you. Yes, he cheated, but she didn't mean anything at all to him. She was nothing in comparison to you. Surely you could realise that...

"Theo, you can't expect me to believe that. I wish I could un-recall how we almost had it all, but I can't. I can't ever forgive you for this. Ever." You were determined not to cry, but here the tears were, spilling down the edges of your cheeks. God, why were you like this. He cheated on you. He didn't care, but you still love him more than your existence. Love's a funny thing.

"Y/N, you're the love of my life. I can't find a world for me without you in it."

"Then you're going to have to look harder, Theodore."

Even Theo was crying now. He was so beautiful when he cried. But he usually cried to you, not for you.

"I love you, Y/N. Please. Forgive me. I'll change. I'll be a better person. And I'll never do it again." Theo begged, pleaded with you. He wanted you back. And deep down, you knew you wanted him too. But you couldn't take him back.

"I love you too Theo. But you won't change. I know you won't. I'm sorry."

You go to leave the room before Theo grabs your wrist, pulling you back.

"Please," he says, gazing into your eyes, his spilling over with tears, "Don't leave me. You're the love of my life. Please."

"You were the love of my life. But I can't stay with you. You're the loss of my life."

And with that, you're over. You squeeze Theo's hand three times. Your life didn't seem golden anymore; it was black and white once more.
