Was Scruffey scrapped after his incident with Oliver, just like his RWS counterpart? Is he later replaced by Hector as the leader of the trucks?

Well, considering that there is rights here for sentient machines so unless he wanted to be part of a police investigation like the Dominic brakevan incident.

Here it was thank to duck and diesel’s rivalry since scruffey and the trucks got the blunt of their rage and bitterness while they were working on building the Waterton branch so he wanted to pay them out since they took it out all on him.

Though they’re since made amends and yeah Hector is technically the main leader (he’s been the president and one of the founding members of the annual rolling stock convention)

Hi everyone! Remember when I said that I have another AU planned up my sleeve? Well, here it is!

TTTE: Ghost Pals!

Note: This page isn't completed yet. Updates will be added to this when I flesh out the AU.

Warning: Mentions of d34th and mπrd3r

It's inspired by @fraiserabbit , @sodor-spirit , @bruhstation and @dieselstooyou 's AUs! (Until The End, Casa Tidmouth, Sodor Spirits)

A heaven, hell and god definitely exist in this AU, and you can either go to the afterlife, be reincarnated, or become a ghost.

Ghosts are known to have special abilities depending on how he died.

And, inspired by “The School For Good And Evil”, have mogrification abilities, which they mainly use to turn into their old machines.

And if you see a ghosts without any massive blood or injuries, they are in a shaded form. It's an illusion that ghosts can use to look more approachable and appealing. When it's removed, the ugly horror of what's under the illusion is revealed.

Most ghosts don't understand why they didn't just immediately go to heaven, but some say it is because of a faulty God.

The story centers around Alfred (yes 98462)

So after he died he decided to haunt the island for 1: s××ts and giggles 2: malicious intent and 3: spite for the living, ESPECIALLY crovan.

But years later he, in his words, got “bored” of spooking people. But later on he figures out he's so stupid to not know that there's a bunch of other ghost on Sodor, which leads to some interesting adventures.

This is also a musical AU. So like, they kinda sing here—

That’s all I'll say for now so let's move on to the characters:

Alfred (98462)

The most aggravating little s××t

Doesn't really believe that he did anything wrong.

Attempted to kill Henry, Gordon and possibly Crovan (his ex-crush)

Died attempting to kill Henry and Gordon (via explosion)

So now he can explode shiet

Got trapped in a tea kettle (haha loser)

First met Godred as a ghost.

Now haunts and hurts people out of spite and fun.

Trucks, cars, coaches, etc... are scared of him.

Views his newly found friends as companions or slaves.

Doesn't get along with Timothy. Thinks he's an annoying nuisance/insolent smiling prick.

Thought he was the first ghost on Sodor (stupid idiot lol)

He's basically like Beetlejuice, except he's not a demon straight from hell.

He starts these stupid shenanigans on Sodor for the fun of it, or at least... that's what he says.

Him singing “Jacks Lament” proves that there's at least a small tint of humanity that grew inside of him throughput his years of death, but why does he always try to discard this?

Godred

Died from falling down a mountain.

The second ghost on Sodor.

Because he died falling off a mountain, and therefore can float and cause earthquakes.

Obnoxious, very self-important and stubborn.

When other ghosts started to come to Sodor, he attempted to act as their leader.

That is, until Timothy came.

People liked Timothy more than him because he was less bossy.

Timothy and him are unfriendly acquaintances.

Culdee is his childhood friend, and didn't meet him again until they both worked at Sodor.

He's probably depressed as hell.

Despite his problems, he much more normal and sane than everyone else in the group

Like he's just thinking, “How did I get myself into this— oh wait its because I DIED.”

Who knows, there might be a reason why he's such a pompous jerk.

Timothy

The leader of ghosts on Sodor

Is Thomas' older brother.

Died after plunging off a viaduct near the harbour.

Is Thomas' ghost guardian

Arrived on Sodor via ship when he turned into a ghost.

Mainly creates bubble shields and stone walls or platforms.

And due to this, is regarded as weaker by the other ghosts.

Has a kind, gentle and optimistic exterior

But to some it looks rather...off puting. Something about his smile and his eyes say that he isn't all that much of a saint.

Welcomes everyone's BS with open arms (in other words, deals with the shenanigans that occur)

Seems to be wise and level-headed, accepting his death and saying that it's the way of life.

But he looks after Thomas so much...

And Neil often finds him sulking in him room with old photos of Thomas.

No one really knows if he's actually moved on yet.

Oh, the poor, wise man...

How long until his sanity finally shatters?

Proteus/???

Died from falling off a viaduct into the water. But most people don't know that.

He can control water and create hurricanes with it (for some reason, and his lamp holds a secret power)

Doesn't remember much. He could remember having a job at the heavens, giving people the lives they deserved.

Which should've been fulfilling, but it wasn't.

And the image of him spiraling down into the water, again and again..

His sense of sight has gone dead, and can only rely on the lantern he holds to lead his way into the dark.

If it isn't lit, we're going to have problems.

Proteus isn't his real name, and was just given by other people when he worked at this “heavenly place”. No one alive remembers seeing him or what his name was, much to his detriment.

He's got quite the hostile attitude and some anger issues.

Most people don't see his lost sense of identity and his misery.

Oh, the poor soul.

He can't remember anything. What he did to have his sight taken away from him, to be treated like a slave, and to die in such a horrid way...

What was he ever done to anyone?

Why was he only ever viewed and used as a tool for the success of other people?

S.C Ruffey, Smudger, and others are yet to be made in this AU :)

TTTE X TOUHOU Abilities and Youkai Types

here we go lads, this is gonna be absolutely looooooong so if you wanna keep reading, there ya go

Thomas is a suzuhiko hime and she is capable of being really useful. So when you hear those bells, that’s when she’s come to help.

Edward is a harionago and she is capable of using her hair to attack. Considering she’s a harionago, that can be very dangerous as the ends of her hair has hooks. Henry is a kodama and she is capable of guarding the Forest of Magic. She oversees the forest and punishes those who cause trouble with ease. Gordon is a yonaki baba and she is capable of using negative emotion as energy. Tragedy and despair attracts her and she cries during the night to farm that negative energy.

James is a siren and she is capable of causing hypnotic trances by singing. As such, she’s become very snobby and prideful, thinking she’s the best. Percy is a momonji and she is capable of mastering Hanafuda. She’s actually much wiser than she lets on and challenges travellers to a game. If they lose, she gets their soul.

Toby is an ikiryo and she is capable of making others forget minor details. Even minor details can end up being a major difference.

Duck is an aosagibi and she is capable of communicating to non-youkai animals. She especially enjoys talking to the ducks.

Donald and Douglas are twin nigawarai and they are capable of turning positive energy into negative energy. They convert it by striking with scythes. Donald causes anger and Douglas causes sadness. As such, Gordon has taken them in as her servants. Oliver is a tennyo and she is capable of using positive emotion as energy. Being the opposite of Gordon, they don’t get along well but her relationship with Gordon is better than her relationship with Diesel. Bill and Ben are twin zashiki warashi and they are capable of turning negative energy into positive energy. They use toy hammers to strike the sadness away. While they look very much like the same person, they have one difference, that being the color of their scrunchies. Bill (pink scrunchie) deals with happiness and Ben (blue scrunchie) deals with relaxation. Oliver enjoys their company and tends to hang around with them.  Diesel is a hinoenma and she is capable of dancing to avoid danmaku patterns. She is extremely vain and usually gets angry when she suspects someone is trying to outshine her. She especially hates Duck and Gordon. She is the second in command of the Shikome who often encourages and partakes in their gossiping and bullying. Diesel 10 is an amikiri and she is capable of manipulating rusted metal. She was once a normal amikiri who cut meshes and nets but she was attacked by humans and almost exterminated. She recreated her right leg, left eye and her right arm from scrap metal. Her right arm seems to have been possessed by a tsukumogami as she names her right arm Pinchy. She is the true leader of the Shikome but they prefer Diesel.

Scruffey is a ninmenju and she is capable of scaring people with her sudden laughter. She is the leader of the Dryads, a group of lesser plant youkai who tend to cause mischief and chaos in the Forest of Magic. Henry often is the one to make sure they’re not causing trouble.

!TW: SPOOKY, MELTING, AND SPOILERS FOR HOHL 5!

'Thumper's Final Act'

Thumper's spiral from being manipulated (and more-so threatened) into working himself pretty much to death in the fifth episode of HOHL; really shows how good the scene composition and writing is in these movies.

Tbh I'd be lying if I said it didn't unnerve me when I first saw it. I couldn't see any other outcome other than Thumper straight up breaking down after pushing himself so far. The sputtering and black smoke of his engine frying up, the way he jittered around on the floor from the heavy vibrations of banging on hard rocks, I rewatched it multiple times. Each time I was trying to trick myself into thinking he would be alright afterwards.

Due to his score in the soundtrack being aptly named 'Thumper's Final Act', I lost hope lmao. This is by far the best, and one of the ONLY inclusions of this character in such an impactful story arc. Well done bluesnowplow, now I want more. Also this post would be a thesis if I started rambling about the bigtop scene or Scruffey so I'm not going to do that

’Hector the Horrid!’ is basically ‘Toad Stands By’ if Oliver took the Steven Universe approach to sorting S.C. Ruffey out.

Not that it’s a criticism, I am a Steven Universe fan, but it’s funny how these two trucks were handled with their methods of bullying being not too different.
