You will never get me to shut up about the Episode 2 scene with Vander and Powder at the Last Drop. It’s this little personal ritual that Vander and Powder share with each other and only each other and it’s ADORABLE.

Vander just knows Powder is feeling down and he instinctively tries to rectify that by making her her juice exactly how she wants it in her favourite cup with a straw. He knows something is horribly wrong when it doesn’t instantly cheer her up.

It’s interesting how similar the scene is to the Chuck scene in act 2. 

Jinx still goes through the motions of sitting at the bar and expecting to get her juice with the cup and the straw.

Only Chuck doesn’t immediately get it. Jinx has to order her drink with the hand gestures and give the bar a knock to get Chuck to remember the straw all while Chuck is shitting himself. Jinx comes into the scene with this hyper unnerving energy and feeds off of Chuck’s fear of her. 

No one else understood Jinx’s drink, no one shared the routine with her but Vander, even Silco doesn’t do it.

Kind of a reach but I think the Chuck scene subtilty conveys that Jinx actually misses Vander, she still wants the routine, she wants her drink the way Vander did it. But Vander isn’t here anymore so she needs to threaten the hapless bartender to just get some semblance of that moment she had with him.

Season 2 wishlist:  Give us a parallel to the episode 2 scene with Jinx and Warwick.

I want Izzy to be struck with a moment of full-body yearning, where he's looking out over the ocean with wide, watery eyes and it's painfully obvious that he's imagining himself happy and fulfilled and in love--and then he takes a deep breath and gets back to work, because by now he's learned that those things aren't for him, if they're even real at all

Jamie Lee Curtis as Dr. Kureha, she already called dibs lol. Let her go feral

Middle Eastern actress for Vivi (and Cobra)

Don't fuck up Chopper (no idea how to handle him, but Detective Pikachu did fine so please?). I'm ready for his backstory to destroy me

Continue the title card thing with the jolly Rogers (And have Vivi, Dr. Hililuk, Chopper, and Ace. Ooh maybe the Rumbar pirates for Laboon's episode)

I'm sure they are going to have to cut and trim some stuff down, especially if they only have 8 eps, but hopefully the pacing will be fine. Alabasta saga does kind of have a lot of characters and moving parts.

Some set up for future arcs? Like how they set up baroque works and had the Noland story, maybe there could be hints to the sky island, Jaya, or Water Seven.

claudia season 2 wardrobe wishlist part 1

Thinking about a storyline for season 2 for T9S. Basically Gwen and Leia are tired of Ozzie constantly sassing them and being an asshole whenever they talk about their problems and such. They obviously can’t talk to him because he isn’t exactly sensitive to other peoples feelings so they stop including Ozzie in their discussions.

Ozzie would notice this and go all S1 Caroline Forbes on them (aka playing the victim, calling out Gwen and Leia, them explaining the issue, him denying it, only to prove their point). Eventually he’d realize that yes he needs to be more sensitive and apologizes to Geia.

How realistic do you think would be to hope for a Loustat scene in the present day at the end of season 2? I know that in the books they only meet after Lestat tells his story but the show already changed some stuff and also season 3 is too far away! 😭

A while ago I was talking with @ifucouldfindme about the fact that I actually thought we would get the "Lestat-reveal" in S1 already - but that was before I knew that they'd split it. Which actually brings me back to saying: "I'm expecting them to show us Lestat at the end of the season" :))) Well, the next one.

Because Lestat had to have been "there" at some point to rerecord the song, and they will need to introduce him in modern Dubai for season 3... imho. (They could do it all via tapes etc and that could have appeal, also, but I really, really, really want the dynamic Armand-Louis-Lestat-Daniel. Like, PLEASE 😅)

As per Loustat specifically, it will depend on the setting of the modern part of the show.

I've said it before, I think we're likely in Merrick territory. IF that is where we are... then Louis and Lestat will meet. In a very... transformative scene, too. Literally.

Personally, for me, that would work perfectly as an ending to season 2, because it would reset their arcs with a, potentially (but hopefully much more errr... hot^^), similar scene to episode 1.

And, tbh, and I think you are d'accord here... but I would really love for Lestat to tell his story with Louis and Armand there. Just... imagine.

(And yes, season 3 is too far awayyyyy... *sniffs*)

Rewatching KinnPorsche cause (—— insert reason—-) and I was thinking it would be cool if Kinn was somehow slightly tangled in Tankhun’s kidnapping. Maybe he trusted someone - a bodyguard, a nanny, a tutor - who betrayed that trust. It would just double down in Kinn’s trust issues and also add a nice layer of guilt towards his sibling.

I really hope we get a storyline around this infamous kidnapping in season 2.

It would be best if it routes us back to Porsche’s mom, too. That juicy tidbit about her family being slaughtered by the very people who then adopted her… perhaps it was payback from her people? Maybe that’s another reason Korn hid her in his attic - as leverage to ensure they didn’t mess with his kids again. I dunno. Possibilities everywhere!

I NEED more Nifty + Alastor interactions in the second season!! As a matter of fact, I need more Alastor interactions with the other cast! I think Alastor's and Niffty's lil relationship is cute! It honest to god looks so genuine, and I like to think she didn't sell her soul to him or nothing, they just hanging out. (That probably isn't the case though) 😭 I would love to see them have a cutesy little song duet, it would probably be jazzy, but kind of chaotic and fast paced. I'd totally listen to that shit on repeat, but more than anything. I just want a Niffty song in general, solo or not. It can be the most bizarre duet, like Niffty?? Vaggie?? Tf you two singing together for??? 😭 I'd also like to see more Angie and Alastor interactions, too! Like they only spoke once in the show?? I want interactions besides Angel flirting with Al, and making him clearly uncomfortable. Like let's have them have a little chat. I can't take Alastor seriously with those fluffy ears of his, awww!! So cute, they look even more fluffier in the second pic, so adorable, they look so soft! I want to see this bitch have a mental breakdown. Even worse than the breakdown he was having in the finale song. Like don't get me wrong, I love the guy. I don't want anything to happen to him, but at the end of the day, I'd love to see him lose his demeanor. (I love angst and drama). Also I'd love to see the day where he stops smiling, like it's not going to happen anytime soon, but I know DAMN well he will stop smiling, and it ain't gonna be pretty. I'll tell you that as much, I want him to meet his mom again, and for her to get killed off for reals! 😍 And before you say, "How would he even meet her? She's in heave-" How do you know that? How do you genuinely know that?? Did Viv say? Cause I want the facts, for all she know she could be in hell??? Like I tried searching it up, and it's from the journey to the light wiki, like sorry to break it to you, lil bro. But that shit ain't real.
