You don't have to scold yourself for being upset. Being upset is a normal and natural thing. Allow yourself to accept these feelings, and learn to cope with them instead of suppressing them. You deserve to be heard and understood

So there’s been some harassment among the COTL fandom regarding fictionkin and some kins feeling like they’re entitled to restrict other people’s creative freedom just because they kin a character, and I think this needs to be said, because I’ve seen this happen in multiple fandoms time and time again.
When a person draws a character from a fandom, or a property you don’t own/didn’t create, that you also happen to identify as, they aren’t trying to draw YOU. They aren’t drawing the character in any association to YOU specifically. Yes, you may feel connected to the character or the art in some form, but they wren’t trying to draw YOU.
If they draw the character you also happen to identify as in a manner that somehow makes you feel uncomfortable, because you see yourself in that character, just BLOCK them. Because, again, they are not drawing YOU. They are drawing a CHARACTER from pre-existing media that you happen to also identify as.
Feeling so attached to a character that you feel the need to go out of your way and harass people, some who may not even know you, for simply drawing the character in a certain manner is not a healthy attachment.
You can identify as a character, but the character on its own, of a pre-existing media and brand, will always stay separate from you, yourself, and your iteration of that character as you identify as them.
You don’t owe asking someone for permission if it’s okay to headcanon a character they don’t own as something, or drawing them on a manner they deem as worthy. You can just make art. Kinning shouldn’t mean gatekeeping art.
Thanks for coming to my TED Talk, from one Lamb kin to my followers.

Ch. 1 - Divorcee
"You've got to be joking," you shook your head, completely baffled at the news you had just heard from the city clerk sitting behind tempered glass. They gave you an empathetic stare in return, a small, awkward smile on their face.
Your fiancé, Seiko, looked at you, also bewildered to the news that they had just heard. You'd kept it a well-tucked away secret up to that point in your relationship, but the cat was very out of the bag at this point.
"It's been three years, how could it have gone overlooked for this long?" You whined angrily to the poor, glorified secretary in front of you. You weren't paying any mind to the look of dismay Seiko was giving you. You had flames of anger in your eyes, nothing could distract from the rage you felt at the major inconvenience that was your ex-husband. You knew him to be arrogant, immature, impolite...the list could go on.
"I'm sorry, Ms. L/N, but we can't process the marriage certificate until your previous marriage to..." they trailed off to look at the name on their computer screen once again, "Satoru Gojo...is fully dissolved. There's nothing I can do, it needs his signature for final processing."
You took a deep breath, realizing there really wasn't anything you could do. "Thank you," you tried to contain your anger. As you spoke, the clerk handed over the paperwork you needed to finish things off with your previous marriage.
With what you needed in your hands, the two of you left the city clerk's office. You kept a straight face, meanwhile Seiko was positively seething. There was a sense of betrayal from such a serious secret being kept for the entirety of your two year relationship.
"Y/N," Seiko started with concern once you were out of earshot of the general public, "you didn't tell me you were married before."
You sighed as the two of you walked toward the subway, heading down the stairs and toward the terminal. "It's a long story," you replied in a soft tone, realizing that your serious secret could have done some major damage to your current relationship. "I kept it in for a reason."
"Well, now it's out and I need to know about it," Seiko said sternly as the two of you scanned your passes and began your wait for the ride home. "Y/N, I love you, but you can't just pass this off as if it was nothing," they hissed, trying to keep their voice low so others nearby wouldn't hear.
"Let's get home first, I'll tell you everything," you closed your eyes as if to try and meditate away the headache forming in your temples.
Tumblr media
When the two of you returned home, you got comfortable in preparation to spill the details on your little secret. Seiko sat down with you on your sofa in your shared apartment. The two of you lived in Hokkaido. You had moved this far after your 'divorce' on purpose, in order to escape a past you longed to forget. You lived humbly, but it was a happy humble.
"Do you remember what I told you about my family?" You asked Seiko who was staring at you intently as the two of you lounged on the sofa.
"They're sorcerers, right?" They replied. When you had originally told them about your family they didn't believe it. It was a power they'd only seen in movies, so they were immediately starstruck. They didn't ask much about it out of respect for you, but that didn't stop them from ignorantly researching from time to time.
You nodded toward their response. "Right, there's a lot of...bureaucracy within that community. It's almost like it's own governmental body," you awkwardly laughed to yourself for a moment, "a lot of the time, the Japanese government has to speak to us first regarding certain matters." How you spoke of this 'community' made it seem incredibly serious to Seiko, their heart fluttered from the stress of your statement. "Essentially, families involved, certain families, have sorcery that can be and have to be passed down through generations. We all play a part."
You began to recall the moment you were pulled into that room those years ago, a recent graduate of the technical college, newly aged nineteen.
Tumblr media
You came from a lineage of 'imbuers.' With a technique not made for combat, your family's power involved imbuing and maintaining cursed objects; something only your family could do. Though it was not often needed, it was still a critical part in the community, critical enough for your family to be considered a part of one of the 'big three' but not enough to make it the 'big four.' Though this did mean your family had a certain closeness to those three other families: Kamo, Zenin, and Gojo.
You had been called to the Gojo estate after work, it was a job you had recently acquired to keep yourself busy and to gain a sense of independence from your smothering family. Your parents were already there after attending a previous meeting with the head of said clan. You weren't told the subject of the meeting, just that it would be between your parents and the head of the Gojo family. Per usual for these visits, you wore a traditional kimono. It's fabric and tightness noticeably uncomfortable after your long work day. You could think of a thousand different places you'd rather be.
You were lead into one of the smaller rooms toward the back of the estate, your sock feet shuffling along the wood floors. An attendant slid back the shoji door for you to find yourself being the last one to arrive.
Your parents, as well as the head of the Gojo clan and his wife, knelt on one side of a low table, their hands folded in their laps and a formal, somber look on their faces. Notably, their son who was also your age, Satoru Gojo, sat opposite of them with an open spot next to him clearly meant for you.
He turned his head back to look at you as you entered, black sunglasses perched upon his nose. He had a pearly white smile on his face as he playfully patted the zabuton next to him to which his father gave him a stern look that Satoru ignored. You lightly rolled your eyes and took your assigned place next to him. He, too, was forced to wear a yukata for the formality of such a meeting.
You cleared your throat and cautiously looked at each of them only to receive no response to your sudden presence other than their intense stares.
"Um," your voice was mouse-like, "what's going on here? Why...did you all summon us like this?" Satoru's presence was certainly a surprise. Usually these meetings were about an object needing imbued where only the family heads were involved.
You noticed your parents exchanging a nervous glance at one another before looking back at you. Your mother shifted and looked toward her lap as your father took the lead. The head Gojo and his wife kept their stoic expressions.
"We've gathered you here to discuss an important matter," your father's voice almost shook in intimidation, "it concerns the future of our families and our...clans."
"You see," your mother chimed in to give her cautious support, "there has been an...arrangement made between our families."
Knowing where this was going without needing to be told, Satoru smiled once again and placed his hands behind his head, stretching, in preparation for the big reveal. You gave your mother a look that egged her on, a look of extreme concern. You felt the beating in your chest increase as if your heart had suddenly become a steel hammer.
"It's a marriage proposal, dear," Satoru's mother piped up seriously, her voice regal but still with a hint of warmth. Her husband's stare, however... It was no wonder your parents were intimidated every time the Gojos came around.
You felt a moment of shock, frustration, and disbelief to what you had just heard. There was no way in this day and age that this was happening. Your mind raced in search of an appropriate way to respond, an appropriate way to reject the idea. It couldn't come to you.
"A marriage proposal, are you serious?" You looked between the four of them with your eyes wide, your adolescence showing through. Your voice was shaky, a tinge of incredulity to it.
"As serious as a heart attack," Satoru sighed happily, still wearing his infuriatingly cheerful smile as if this wasn't a huge deal. He seemed completely at ease with the situation. He was clearly used to these types of 'situations' being from the top family in the realm of jujutsu.
Your father nodded earnestly, "Yes, we are. It's a...proposition that could...solidify the bonds between our clans and...ensure our continued prosperity." That was it...money. They were doing this for money. Your heart felt like it had angrily snapped in two.
"And it's not a decision we've taken lightly, dear. We've thought long and hard about it," your mother's voice was sweet, but what you heard was absolute betrayal falling from her lips.
Seeing your disbelief, Satoru's father responded with a composed tone of anger. "It is necessary for our clan to produce an heir to keep the balance of society," Satoru's father finally spoke, his aging brow seriously furrowed. "Our son is the last of our name. It is of utmost importance that the Six Eyes as well as Limitless go on and we need to ensure that happens. Especially considering the recent events involving the special grade curse user Geto Suguru."
Satoru's smile was quickly erased at the mention of his best friend's name. It was something he never wanted to think about again if he could.
You couldn't believe what you were hearing; marrying someone you hardly thought of as a friend, let alone a romantic partner, was unthinkable. The absurdity of it all made you want to laugh but you could tell from the air in the room alone that this was no joke.
"I..." your voice shook as you struggled to maintain your composure, "I can't believe this. We hardly know one another and you expect us to get married?!"
Satoru, who was leaning on his hands as he sat on his own zabuton, taking things so nonchalantly, leaned forward to capture your attention. It was hard to look away from his bright blue eyes as they carelessly stared at you from behind his black lenses.
"Look, I know it's unexpected, but maybe it's not so bad, right?" He was trying to play mediator here. He, too, had absolutely no interest in having a wife. He just wanted his family to shut up about it; he'd deal with the consequences of ultimately having no heir later.
You shot him an incredulous look, almost flinching at his words. "Seriously, Gojo? You think this is a good idea?"
He shrugged, a hint of mischief in his eyes. "Who knows? We might surprise ourselves. Plus, we've known each other for a long time, right?"
Since birth, you thought to yourself. He was essentially a childhood best friend that had drifted away in your teen years. At this point, you'd call yourselves acquaintances if anything.
You couldn't help but roll your eyes again at his casual attitude. The weight of the situation bore down on you, and you turned back to your parents. "Can we at least discuss this further? I need some time to think about it."
Just before your sentence ended and your parents had a chance to respond, the head of the Gojo clan answered with a booming voice. "There is no further need for discussion. We have made our decision and the two of you will wed within the year."
You were taken aback by his forceful insistence. It was clear that he was not open to any type of negotiations or delays. The situation had taken a sharp and unexpected turn, and it seemed as though your fate had been sealed without any say in the matter. The days ahead would be filled with uncertainty and apprehension as you faced the reality of an impending marriage to Satoru Gojo, whether you liked it or not.

Hi!
I was wondering if you could do either some more Domestic! Mha boys headcanons, or maybe a dad! Kirishima.
Of course! I love getting requests. I'll do some headcanons here, and tag you on any future Domestic! MHA posts! :)
Ships: Kirishima x fem! reader, Denki x fem! reader, Bakugo x fem! reader, Shinsou x fem! reader, Todoroki x fem! reader, and Deku x fem! reader. Let me know if I missed any of your favorites, and I'll gladly do a part two.
TW: Mentions of trouble conceiving, labor
Rock Hard: AKA Eijiro Kirishima
Kiri, my beautiful, lovely baby is the most amazing dad.
Fight me, bitch.
His kids are super well-behaved and get a ton of attention from dad. He's the kind of dad who's going to come to his kid's school to drop off lunch in his Pro Hero outfit because he knows his kids love to see it.
Girl dad. Three kids, two with black hair, one with your color hair. (If your hair is black ignore that) Absolutely whipped for his princesses.
Tea parties once a month with your youngest, tree climbing with your middle daughter, and your eldest gets to do his makeup.
Of course, this has led to issues. Such as Kiri going to interviews and fighting villains wearing - to name a few - pink tutus, blue eyeshadow, the world's brightest blue lipstick, a blonde wig, and a red dress.
One particular day that still mortifies Kirishima to think about happened when your oldest was about nine. She's a daddy's girl and looks just like him without the red hair. She also loves the color coral, which clashes terribly with Eiji's red hair.
She had put pink and coral makeup all over his face while he was taking a nap, and he didn't realize he had on makeup until he had frantically driven halfway to his interview so he wouldn't be late.
To top off this horrific day, the interviewer hadn't been able to stop laughing long enough to ask him anything other than, "Who the hell did that?"
But he loves his girls and would do anything for them.
Electric Love: AKA Denki Kaminari
Pikachu over here is an absolute softy for his kids.
He has thirteen-year-old twins. A boy and a girl. He loves them equally and showers praise on them at all times.
Both have bright yellow hair and fairly similar quirks to their dad. But what really makes everyone around them know, 'yep, those are Kaminari's', is when they goof off.
Now, Kami's funny story is fairly recent.
His daughter got her period a few months ago, and he, being the idiotic but loveable trainwreck he is, called you because he thought your daughter was dying.
"Doctor Kaminari Y/n speaking, how may I help you?"
"Y/n! I think Yukina's dying! She and Seiko got home from school and she was bleeding. From... there."
You could hear your husband hyperventilating on the other end of the phone. "Kami, she got her period, she's not dying. Bring her over to the hospital in your car, I took the train to work today so we can stop at the store to get Yuki some pads or tampons, depending on what she wants, and we'll go by her favorite Ramen place to grab supper when my shift ends."
You could hear Seiko telling his younger sister it'd be okay. You and Denki had raised them right.
Although how you'd never know.
Blast 'em With Kindness: AKA Katsuki Bakugo
In case you couldn't tell, that title is sarcastic.
Just like Bakugo and his eight-year-old. You could look at that little girl and think she was Mitsuki in disguise. Your daughter, Kiko, was not an only child, but she was your only child who looked like you and Katsuki.
You and Katsuki had wanted a big family since you had both been only children. But only one of your four kids was actually yours. You had a condition called PCOS, which had made it incredibly difficult to get pregnant with Kiko.
So you had adopted your two oldest, and your youngest, having Kiko in between.
Bakugo gets asked about his family every time someone sees him.
Your eldest, at least in adoptive order, Mana, is very enthusiastic since you adopted her when she was only a year old, not old enough to remember much other than her adoptive parents.
However, Imani, your second, and actually the oldest, had been adopted at age six from an African orphanage while you were pregnant with Kiko. So Imani was a bit shy, with her favorite uncle being Tamaki Amajiki or Suneater, since he was also socially awkward.
Since three of your kids are adopted, Bakugo loves to cook with his kids. Especially so that Imani can be connected to her heritage.
Kiko is sarcastic, and practically a tiny version of her grandmother, just without as many violent tendencies.
And your youngest, Tetsu, was hardened against many things with three older sisters. You hadn't chosen his name, but you found it hilarious that one of your husband's high school 'friends' was named Tetsutetsu, making him a favorite hero of your sons.
Bakugo's soft around his 'brats' (he calls them angels when they aren't looking), but don't tell anyone or you'll be against a wall with explosions very close to your throat very quickly.
Enthraller of Minds: AKA Hitoshi Shinsou
While Hitoshi loves his kids, none of them were planned.
Your first child, your now sixteen-year-old son Yamato was the result of a very drunk night full of poor decisions.
Your twelve-year-old daughter, Nara, happened because you forgot a week of birth control.
And your nine-year-old son, Shouta, was the result of a business trip where you packed your very tight skirt. He was named after Hitoshi's adoptive father due to some circumstances. (meaning Aizawa helped deliver Shinsou baby #3)
All three of your kids are very mild-mannered, and very sleep-deprived, just like their mom and dad.
Since both you and Hitoshi are Pro Heroes, your kids see 'Grampa Shou' a lot. Aizawa doesn't mind.
Shinsou was worried his kids would get his quirk and be made fun of like he was. But even though both Yamato and Nara got their father's quirk, neither was bullied or teased like he was in school.
Your youngest has a fairly weak quirk, so his older brother and sister stand up for him a lot.
But overall you're a very happy family. And Shinsou couldn't be prouder.
Half 'n' Half Espresso: AKA Shoto Todoroki
His nicknames for his children: Pumpkin Bug. Sakura. Sweetheart. Deli (don't ask)
His children's nicknames for him in the same order: Espresso man, Cool Dad, Daddio, and Karaoke Wonder (also don't ask).
Pumpkin Bug/Espresso man comes from your oldest daughter, Niko.
Sakura/Cool Dad comes from your middle daughter, Sara.
Sweetheart/Daddio comes from your youngest daughter, Kasumi.
Deli/Karaoke Wonder comes from your son, Hotaru.
Since you and your husband are Pro Heroes your kids spend a lot of time with Aunt Fuyumi and Uncle Natsuo. Not that they mind.
Endeavor once asked why he's never asked to babysit, but he's never asked since.
"Because you gave my husband severe emotional trauma, you turned your son into a villain, and you don't care about your other two children unless they did something wrong! You're never getting close to my kids until I'm dead and buried, but by then they'll have their own reasons to hate you."
Ouch.
But Sho does try to be accepting of his father, even though Endeavor is never allowed around his children without either you or your husband supervising.
Kasumi loves her aunt and uncle the most, though. She's the weakest of your four kids, although she was still able to beat her younger brother in a fight at the age of eleven.
Sara and Niko are definitely the most powerful, but Shoto made sure that all his kids knew they were loved and that how powerful they were didn't matter to him.
And his kids love to walk around using their quirks in front of their grandfather just to piss Endeavor off.
Sho loves his kids.
Like Mother Like Son: AKA Izuku Midoriya
Broccoli boy absolutely loves his daughters. His younger daughter, Mayumi, likes to have tea parties, while Seiko, his older daughter, loves to spar with him and test out her quirk.
He fanboys with his daughters about All Might, showing them all his merch + that limited edition poster Nighteye had.
He also enjoys arranging playdates with his friend's kids and making sure his daughters know that they are loved no matter what.
Seiko, who is fifteen, recently got into her first relationship. With Tetsu Bakugo.
Izuku was excited his daughter had a boyfriend, and while Bakugo didn't care that his daughter was dating someone (too much), he certainly hated the fact it was Midoriya's daughter.
"DEKU! Your daughter is dating my son!" Bakugo screamed into the phone as Izuku flinched away from it.
"Well, Kacchan, I can't pick who my daughter likes!"
You especially were pissed. Not because Seiko was dating Tetsu Bakugo, but because of how two grown men who were both Pro Heroes were acting because their kids were in a relationship.
No doubt about it, these girls love to play pranks on their dad.
The last time this happened Nara Shinsou also got involved, along with Niko, Sara, and Kasumi Todoroki.
We won't get into details, but let's just say all of them were grounded for a while.
I hope you enjoyed these, and I think I might do some more family things, especially with Sho and his kids pissing off Endeavor.

Tumblr media
If someone had asked you 2 years ago where you thought you would be right now, you wouldn’t have even blinked before answering. Married to your boyfriend. Living with him in his family home. Visiting your own maybe once a week. Maybe you might have even had a kid with him. You certainly wouldn’t be working in a small publishing office as an editor, living alone in a tiny apartment in a city hundreds of miles away from your family. Unwilling to visit the very house you grew up in. But you had learned quickly that life rarely goes the way you plan it. You’re certainly feeling it right now, watching your ex-boyfriend stand next to your own sister, the both of them watching you in trepidation.
The awkward silence is broken by your mother. “You’re here, then. Despite ignoring my calls. Good that you remembered you had a family.” Your head pivoted to meet hers, and you cross your arms. “I’m sure you got my messages. Can’t have the family wondering why the bride’s own sister didn’t show up to the wedding, right?”
The matriarch of the Morita family shoulders past you into the house. She’s as put together as you remember, her hair pulled into a bun perfectly, her clothes without a speck of dirt or wrinkle on them. Your sister follows her, stopping before you. She hasn’t said a word to you yet, and you simply raise an eyebrow at her. “Cat got your tongue, Seiko? You certainly weren’t this subdued the last time I saw you.” She reels back, but regains her composure quickly. “I’m happy you’re visiting, (name). I would have hated for you to miss my wedding.” “Wouldn’t have missed it for the world.” You glance at Naoya, who’s been watching you closely. “Hey, (name). Looks like Tokyo’s been good to you.” He pulls Seiko into him, and you bite your cheek. You certainly have no more lingering feelings for him, you think. But looking at them together still stings you quite a bit.
You hear your mother scoff. “I can’t imagine your job is doing much for you. When are you going to give up on it and move back home? You’d be so much more comfortable here.” “We’re really getting into this now? It hasn’t even been an hour since I arrived, and you’re lecturing me about my life choices?” You whirl on her, your voice raising, and she meets you in kind. “You’re just being dramatic, (name). You know I’ve always wanted nothing but the best for you. Surely you know it’s a disgrace for a Morita to be working a desk job.” All you can do is stare at her in disbelief. You flush red in anger and embarrassment, noticing your father and grandmother were here too, probably hearing your raised voices. Of all the places to have it out with your mother, in front of your family as well as your ex was definitely the worst place for it. “Mom..I just-“ “No, (name). We put up with your tantrums and the silent treatment for an entire year. You’re a bit past the age for being this childish now.” Your throat tightens, your nails cutting into your palm. You should have known it was a mistake to come back. It was the exact same a year ago.
“That’s quite enough, I think.” A comforting presence surrounds you, a thick arm enveloping your waist and pulling you in. You look up, watching him come stand by you. Nanami’s face is expressionless, but his eyes are cold as he looms protectively. His hair is slightly damp, like he had just stepped out of the shower, his body warm against yours.
He noticed your gaze and smiles, bending down and kissing your forehead. Your mouth falls open as he renders everyone speechless. “(name), who is this?” Of all the people to speak up, its Naoya, cutting through the tension. The feeling of being cornered is gone, replaced by growing confidence. It’s hard to panic when you have a 6 foot tall brick wall of a man backing you up. “Ah, right. My boyfriend, Nanami Kento. I did tell you I’d be bringing someone along..” “My apologies for the interruption.” His fingers press into your waist, and you can feel how solid he is against your own body, feel his deep voice rumbling. It’s like he was engineered to tick off every single switch in your brain that made you melt into a pile of mush. You watch him as he turns to your sister and Naoya, and holds out a hand. “Congratulations on the marriage. I’ve been waiting for (name) to introduce me to her family.” He doesn’t sound very congratulatory, and you think everyone in the room realizes it. He finally turns to your mother, tilting his head towards her. “Thank you for having me. Your home is lovely.” She nods at him. Her face is mildly pale, spots of colour high in her cheeks. “Yes, well. Make yourself comfortable.” She examines him, her eyes lingering on the secure grip he has on you. “Go freshen up, (name). I’m sure you’ve missed your grandmother’s cooking.” She sighs, her fingers rubbing her forehead. Your grandmother claps, her voice cheerful. “Yes, yes, that’s quite enough. The hallway is no place for this conversation, is it?” She beckons your mother, sister and her fiancée into the kitchen, waving you and Nanami away. Your dad glances at you apologetically, before following them. They leave behind silence, and you groan, letting Nanami steer you upstairs. You notice Yuuji peeking from above the staircase, and he looks very anxious. “Thanks, Yuuji.” You peek at Nanami in confusion, wondering why he was thanking Yuuji. The boy brightens, shooting a thumbs up at him. “No problem, Nanamin!” ‘
He leads you into your room, and closes the door behind him. You collapse on your bed face down, turning your head to meet Nanami’s eyes. He sits down next to you, his fingers stroking your hair. “Nanamin?” You snort, and he shrugs. “He’s a good kid. He asked me to go downstairs when he saw what was happening.” You relax at the comforting feeling of his hand through your hair. “I’m sorry about…everything you just saw. We’re kind of a mess.” He’s silent, his hand moving downwards from your hair to your cheek. The calluses tickle your cheek and you giggle. “I know I haven’t known you for long, but you didn’t deserve to hear that.”
“You’re right. I didn’t.” You love your job in Tokyo. You love your apartment too, the creaky windows and the tap u sometimes have to jiggle to get to leak water, your collection of plants you forget to water every now and then. You love your friends too. (You especially love Gojo and Shoko right now, for sending your way god’s gift to humanity. You know you would have had a much harder time without Nanami’s support.) “But it’s okay. Just a week to get through, and I’ll be back home, and hopefully I won’t have to drag you into more family blow ups.” You sit up on the bed, dislodging his hand from your face, missing its warmth immediately. “Thank you, though, seriously. You didn’t have to do any of this.” “I’m not the selfless person you think I am.” He gets up off the bed, walking to your desk and picking up a photo of you from when you were in university. “But I’m glad I’m being helpful.” He tilts his head at you. “Feel free to use me as your shield for anything this week. That’s what I’m here for.”
You glance at his back, his muscles rippling through his shirt. A shield is certainly an apt descriptor for him. It’s weird seeing a man in your childhood bedroom. You don’t think you’ve even brought back a boy here. He looks out of place amongst the furniture, too large for life. You hope there’s nothing embarrassing left out by mistake, and you glance about your room, but its pretty safe. No weird childhood posters or unfortunate teenage photos hanging around. Something occurs to you, and you glance at Nanami, wondering how to bring it up. “Uh, Nanami..” “Kento.” “Whuh?” He turns to you, his expression stern. “Call me Kento. You’re my girlfriend for the week, aren’t you?” Your cheeks may be permanently flushed by the end of this. “Right..Kento. Would you be okay with us sleeping in the same bed? I can get you a spare otherwise..” It’d be weird to explain why you needed a spare bed when he was your boyfriend, but you’re sure you can come up with some excuse. He raises an eyebrow. “I’m comfortable with it if you are. It might be a cosy fit, though.” You’re almost thankful for the series of events that led up to this. You just shoot him a thumbs up, trying to appear unbothered. “I’m honor bound to warn you that I am a serial cuddler. Shoko has had to pry me off her too way many times whenever I’ve crashed at her place.” He bends down, placing his arms on either side of you on the bed, leaning over to whisper in your ear. “I look forward to it, sweetheart.” He pulls away so quickly you almost wonder if you imagined it. Walking towards the entrance of your room, calling out behind him. “Go shower and join us for dinner below, (name).” The door shuts behind him, and you fall back onto your bed, grabbing a pillow and mushing your face into it, muffling your screams with the fabric.
Tumblr media
Dinner is a considerably more cheerful affair than before. Seiko and Naoya had thankfully read the room and bowed out early. You knew there was an enormous can of worms to open up there, but you decided to let sleeping dogs lie for today. Nanami is surprisingly carrying on a long conversation with your mother and father, and you’re extremely curious about what they were talking about. Knowing your mother, she’s probably grilling him about his entire history. You spend the rest of dinner joking around with Yuuji and your grandmother, shooting a glance at Nanami every now and then, which he meets with a reassuring smile. You’re happy he seems to be enjoying dinner, at least.
Night quickly arrives, and with it, the bed situation. You spend way too long deciding on a pair of pajamas, and settle on a comfortable t-shirt and shorts of respectable length. Nanami seems to have already changed, and made himself comfy, and you feel a flutter in your stomach at the way he’s sprawled on his side of the bed, his hair falling over his eyes instead of being swept up as it usually is. He’s grabbed a book off your nightstand and is perusing it, the light from your nightlamp illuminating him softly. You spend a few beats admiring the man, before joining him.
“Hi…” You whisper, slipping into the covers next to him, keeping some space between you both. He places the book down, turning his full attention onto you. He smiles at you, his brown eyes warm. “You good?” He settles in under the covers too. “I am. You’re looking tired, (name).” “It’s been a long day…” He leans over you to turn off the light, and you catch a whiff of his aftershave. He smells very good, and you feel mildly like a pervert. Your mind keeps wandering to how tall and wide he is in comparison to you. “Sorry if I steal the covers from you. My limbs take a mind of their own when I sleep.” You hear him laugh in the darkness. “I’ll be fine, sweetheart. Go to sleep.” Easier said and done. You close your eyes, thinking you’ll probably be awake for most of the night making sure you don’t accidentally cuddle Kento in your sleep. You're not making contact with him, but even with your eyes closed, you feel the warmth emanating off him. You open your eyes a millimeter, trying to catch a glimpse of him. You think he's staring at you back, but it's hard to say in the dark. Eventually the day catches up with you quickly, and before you know it, you’re fast asleep and dead to the world.

S3 : Chapter 5 - Doom's Day ☆☆☆☆☆

October 22nd 2018. I was in Megumi's dorm, waiting for him to come back with food. We had ordered ramen from a local restaurant, and Megumi volunteered to go and collect it.
I was sprawled across his bed, scoffing at the text messages I had received from that idiot. He really knew how to get on my nerves. As much as he annoyed me, I wondered when I would be able to see him again. He was my best friend, after all. He would always look out for me when no one else was there to do so. Truly my one and only.
I placed my hands over my face, taking in a deep breath before closing my eyes. We had been training relentlessly for October 31st. All of the students who received recommendations from the sister school exchange event were able to have their evaluation on that day.
Halloween gets particularly dangerous in places like Shibuya and Itaewon in South Korea. These areas are known tourist attractions. So, people from abroad, as well as people from outside of the regions, would typically come here to enjoy the environment, although it was usually anything but pleasing.
As a jujustu sorcerer, I have decided that my motive is to protect the weak or those who can't protect themselves. Due to my prior traumatic experiences, I am set on this goal more than anyone else. I always move to protect those who find themselves in vulnerable situations where they can't defend themselves. Both Yuuji and I are of the same mind : exorcise and support. That's our only goal. We will both avoid killing at all costs, which is what makes our bond so strong. We can confide in each other, both knowing the meaning behind our actions no matter what happens.
Megumi thinks slightly differently to us. Although he is also set on saving the weak, he will not hesitate to kill people if needs be. I have understood where he was coming from, but I did not agree with this way of thinking. Although, something he said on one of our first missions has always stuck with me:
'Who's to say that someone you save won't kill someone in the future?'
His words plagued my mind since that day. If I really had no choice, would I be able to kill someone? And if I couldn't do it, would I be able to live knowing I could have prevented more deaths by not saving that one life?
I was unsure of my standing in the grand scheme of things, how I fit into the works of jujustu society. I was unsure of the role I played in the world. How helpful was I really? If I couldn't kill someone because I had to, could I really be deemed as someone capable of saving lives? Should I really have this role as a sorcerer, where the lives of others were literally the foundation of my career?
The varied feelings confused me massively, my mind taking turns into 'what if's' and 'maybes', each branch of questions endless. I was stuck within a rendezvous, my morality being the central point of it. In some ways, it was immoral to kill no matter who it was, but in other ways, it wasn't right to allow someone who would kill to live. If I have the power to stop it, I should use it accordingly.
"Seiko?" A voice chimed, causing me to sit up abruptly.
Megumi had returned, food in hand as he stood at the doorway, his jaw heavy and his mouth open. He looked as if he wanted to speak. He placed the food on the table nearest to us and walked towards me, taking my hand that was still on my face as he sat on the bed. He removed my hand from my face, observing my visage.
"What's wrong?" He placed my hand on his lap, smoothing it with his soft touch.
I looked away from his gaze before I spoke. "It's nothing, really... I was just thinking about the evaluation."
"Are you stressed about it?"
"It's not that..." I removed my hand from his, sending a panicked look to his face.
I played with my thumbs as I looked down at my lap.
"You have to talk to me, love." His voice was quiet, and his words flustered me nevertheless. "What is this about?"
I inhaled, ready to confess what had been on my mind.
"It's just... something that you said before." I heard a low gasp come from Megumi, his body becoming tense and full of fear as he looked it me. I looked up, my eyes glossy as his lips quivered in terror.
"W-wh... what did I-I say? Did I do something wrong? I-I promise I didn't mean to hurt you! I just.. I can't bear to think that I've made you upset." He spoke frantically, scared that he had done something to harm me.
"Megs! Don't worry, you didn't do anything." I reassured him before continuing. "Do you remember our mission at the detention centre?" I asked him.
"Yes... That was your first mission with us, right?" He made reply.
"Right. When Yuuji went to save that man, you said,'Who's to say that someone you save won't kill someone in the future'." Megumi was stunned by my ability to quote him word for word.
I looked into his eyes.
"Yuuji and I are of the same mind when it comes to our intentions as sorcerers. If anything, I wanted to save that man just as much as he did. It just made me think..." My eyes found their way to the open window by his bed. "If it came down to it and I had to kill someone, I don't think I would be able to do it."
Megumi sighed, taking my hand. "Seiko, don't downplay your abilities because of something like that. What I said may have made you think about things you may not have, which is good. Still, just because your values aren't exactly the same as mine doesn't make you any weaker or less capable than I am. We both have different stories and different paths we took to get to where we are today. And yet, here we are, sitting next to each other and dating. Our differences make us stronger. They can help to empower us and push us to new lengths. So don't ever think for a second that you're weak because we both know that you are much stronger than me and everyone else here. I mean, I'm not the one who's been recommended for special grade, am I?"
My eyes glistened at his speech, filling with water as I began to cry into his arms. I sobbed for a while before composing myself and sitting up, all the while Megumi stroked my hair and whispered reassuring words to me.
"It's hard not knowing my purpose in all of this. I sometimes wonder why I even became a sorcerer. I guess I just have to keep pushing and be resolute in what I believe. I need to make myself comfortable in this maze, and everything else will fall into place gradually." I sniffled, still hugging Megumi.
"That's my girl. You don't need to figure it all out just yet. We're still kids. It'll all come in due time." I hit his arm at his words, causing him to utter a surprised."What?"
"You can't just say that! First 'love' and now..." My words trailed off as he gave me a playful smirk.
"Now what?"
"That's my girl. Seriously?" I laughed a little bit as he smiled softly at me.
"I was just trying to lift your spirits, that's all. It seems to have worked." Megumi felt accomplished seeing the smile that graced my face.
"I love you, Seiko." Megumi spoked quickly, turning his head away from me as he did. My heart skipped a beat, my eyes widened, and my jaw slackened.
Megumi... loves me?
"I- I love you too, Megumi..." I grabbed the sides of his face, pulling him closer to me so that there were only a few inches between our faces.
I stared into his eyes, purely infatuated. I loved him. I loved him so much it hurt. Every second without him was like I had been stabbed one thousand times over. I couldn't bear not being by his side.
Love.
It's so true and serene. Desirable and seductive. It infects your heart like an incurable disease. It haunts you, makes you act in manners you would have never thought possible.
Love.
The most twisted curse of all.

My Favorite Manga in 2023: Part 2
Like in part 1 I will skip the titles I already covered in previous roundups.
女の園の星 (Onna no Sono no Hoshi), Yama Wayama
初恋、ざらり (Hatsukoi, Zarari), Zaku Zakuro
うちのクラスの女子がヤバい (Uchi no Class no Joshi ga Yabai), Seiko Erisawa [Ichi-nen Ichi-gumi omnibus edition]
インターネット・ラヴ! (Internet Love!), Kiko Urino
レイニー通りの虹 (Rainy Doori no Niji), Keiko Fukuyama
葬送のフリーレン (Frieren: Beyond Journey's End), Kanehito Yamada & Tsukasa Abe
Yama Wayama appears to be on a continuous upwards trajectory as the manga comedienne of the reiwa era which I got to confirm for myself with the hit Onna no Sono no Hoshi. The episodic comedy about a teacher daily terrorized by his students and coworker. And with the scanlation well on its way I just want to say please experience it for yourself.
Uchi no Class no Joshi ga Yabai I had eyed ever since I started learning Japanese and the new omnibus that coincided with the ongoing sequel series gave me a great reason to finally pick it up. Box of Light by the same author was on my list last year and I not only liked the premise of it but also loved the anthology format of the story. For similar reason I really liked Uchi no Class: In the world of the series high school aged girls may experience the activation of powers.... that are completely useless and troublesome. We follow the students of year one class one, a class infamous for always having the highest concentration of useless powers. Dreams projected into the sky, X-ray vision that turn everyone around you into terrifying anatomy models is only the tip of the iceberg. I can't resist a gimmick premise done successfully and the variation of characters and powers kept the premise fresh like older characters who haven't yet "grown out" of their powers or a trans girl storyline.
Hatsukoi, Zarari follows the young woman Arisa diagnosed with a light intellectual disability and autism. Living between jobs and having a hard time turning down men who only want to have sex she has always struggled with her own self worth. This is until she falls in love with an older coworker who is charmed by her personality and quirks. But will things change if she opens up about her diagnoses? Zaku Zakuro has made manga and shared online about living with ADHD and asperger syndrome, giving this story a very personal and different perspective focusing especially on how stigma around developmental disabilities can be what causes the most friction and pain.
Internet Love! is a love story for the social media age with a budding romance that goes across borders. Bisexual nail artist Tenma has for years been a fan of a completely ordinary man from Korea named Uno who appears to be addicted to posting his life on instagram, daily filling up his story until the posts are lined up like dots. Thinking he held nothing but a healthy distance of "standom" for Uno, but he instead hits rock bottom when his insta favorite posts a girlfriend reveal. Tenma no longer able to bring himself to open the daily insta stories sinks into a depression, but Uno takes note that a certain someone stopped checking up on him... I was instantly charmed by this and was especially taken by how their clumsy attempts at communication without being able to speak each others language or no lingua franca was portrayed and the personal styles and fashions of the characters I just adored the whole thing.

Promo!!
Tumblr media
As the camera flickers to life, you're greeted with a blue-haired woman in a wheelchair and a girl with pink pigtails standing before you. The pink-haired girl sighs, holding her arms anxiously.
"U-Um... Hey. I'm Kotoko Utsugi, the Li'l Ultimate Drama... The girl behind me is Miaya Gekkogahara, my therapist. And the lady all the way back there is Miu, but we can't bother her. She's working on something. My nurse, Mikan, my doctor, Mayu, and my pharmacist, Seiko, are around here somewhere, too... Um... Miaya says that it'd be best to get on here to try and get to know people again, so... that's why I'm here. And if you could, a promo would be nice."
She seems very anxious... Will you speak to her?
(( Feel free to ignore, interact if not tagged, or ask for your tag to be removed! Mods that play Kokichi or Kotoko on ANY blog in ANY capacity DNI!!!! ))

Meet the Problemaniacs!!
Tumblr media
Aka 90% of the Yung's.
Let's start with the wisest of the triplets,
Seiko
Tumblr media
His main interest is rap and beatbox. He is pretty okay with guns but if he had to choose a path in life it wouldn't involve them much. He and his brother Marsh work as a team to make their own songs. (Also their idol is YV but they don't want to admit it hehe)
Tumblr media
He tries his best to always act rational when his family members don't. But that doesn't mean he can't get goofy too.
Marsh
Tumblr media
He is very much shy and not good with the guns. Loud noises scare him. Very much good with crossbow and distant aiming.
Tumblr media
He is the music composer. He can rap and sing aswell but always works as a background singer.
When he's not with Seiko he spends his time in his room either listening to music or sleeping. He's a timid fella.
But very empathetic and cares about other's feelings. That's the first thing he notices.
AS FOR THE QUEEN OF VIOLENCE HERSELF..
VETA!
Tumblr media
She is very much skilled with firearms. She is very hot headed, fearless and easily loses her temper. Sadly her no sense of danger makes her a little stupid and jump into situations without thinking.
Tumblr media
Out of all the triplets she has a huge potential to become the next Gun God. And she probably might.
She managed to summon her golden revolver at a very young age.
Tumblr media
She is more skilled than YV ever was.
Of course, family is all that is on her mind and she would kill for them.
Little feral beast.
Tumblr media
Yung Cuz!
Tumblr media
Cuz is the eldest out of all the children in the Yungs household. He and his brother Fluff view the triplets as little siblings and consider them as such.
Of course, he loves gaming and spending time playing on his consoles.
Tumblr media
His main weapon of choice is anything melee. He is the Blade God. It is an unofficial title but he can very much summon golden close combat weapons.
But as the eldest, YV expects him to control his siblings and puts him in charge when he's out.
Tumblr media
Fluff!
Tumblr media
he’s the second oldest
he likes to collect rocks when out of the mansion (an unhealthy amount each time.)
literal god at rhythm games, or well anything that has to do with rhythm in general but usually spends his time around rhythm games (aka on his beloved DDR machine)
fun fact! his real name isn't even Fluff! that's just a nickname. He doesn't use his real name much. Though, it abbreviates to Y.R so take that as you will
Tumblr media
if anything, one of—if not, the most optimistic out of the 5. Can be energetic as well.
Sentimental towards most things.
Distracted easily if off the DDR set. Like, waayyy too easily.
fairly naïve. not much to say here other than he once fell for a scam because the person was nice to him for only 2 seconds
sensitive asf. he's good at masking it though if he feels hurt. (only for a bit though)
knowledgeable in only certain topics—that being about rhythm and flow, and a bunch of rock facts. occasionally, a bit about astronomy too (he can point out the brightest stars anywhere in the sky, but that’s about it)
Also the fella is mute. He may let out few noises but speaking is not an option in his case. His family can understand him, though.
Tumblr media
(also the feller belongs to @ciphercalamitiez)
