0 – What are some of the inspirations behind your S/I? Are they exactly like you? Were they an OC? Did any of your favorite characters have any influence in their design/personality?

okay okay so hes basically just like me if i were a 14 y/o japanese middle schooler…canon mob was definitely an inspiration!! his role in the story + base relationship with reigen is definitely based on mob in canon, and then his appearance is based off of me! in terms of personality, hes basically me/whatever i think i would do in his situation lol. very self-indulgent but i love it <33

3 – Have you ever imagined any episodes or segments of your F/O’s source starring your S/I? If so, what did they get up to?

okay HMM another episode…OH i love thinking about ace and reigen in the claw fight, tldr ace is fighting a bunch of powerful espers and reigen shows up and calms him down, and through Stuff ace's powers get transferred to reigen and he effortlessly fights back the espers!! its so impressive and hot asf since reigen isnt an esper but he uses the powers so effortlessly, and he gets to help out ace too!! its so sweet and i think after this when ace gets worked up and needs a moment to breathe, he can transfer his powers to reigen and let him take care of him <33

7 – Within canon, is your S/I considered a hero, villain, anti-hero or a regular citizen? How does this affect their day to day life and their relationship with your F/O?

oooo okay so technically really ace is just an ordinary guy - hes just a middle schooler - but hes also a very powerful esper!! esp with reimobace i like to think that people target him because hes close to mob (the most powerful esper ever) and he gets kidnapped and stuff and so they have to end up rescueing him a lot! i think reigen would think of him as his hero bc he helps people (and him) out by exorcizing spirits! ace doesnt really see himself as anything special, if anything, next to mob he feels not as powerful, but mob tries to convince him that his powers are his own, and power isnt the only thing that matters! day to day is spent helping people with small jobs at the spirits and such office!!

fun things you can do when you have an f/o!

print out pictures of them to hang up on your wall!

if they wear jewelry, make it!

make stickers of them! (there's tutorials on youtube of how to make stickers at home, or, you can get sticker paper on amazon for pretty cheap, mine was $6!)

if you do make stickers, put them on your sketchbook, journal, laptop, or whatever you feel like putting them on!

make a google slides presentation on them! alternatively, you could also write an essay about them.

if they don't have a canonical style of handwriting, find or try to write in a way they would write!

if they do, try making your own font of their handwriting that you can download and use. or, try to learn how to write similarly to them, maybe write letters to yourself from their perspective.

if they have a birthday or there's a holiday coming up (irl or canonical), make a card for them!

make them in the sims, or some other character creation making game. or, make a minecraft skin of them.

draw them as a character from another source. for example, draw them as a pony from mlp, or draw them as a character from smiling friends!

make a playlist of youtube videos you'd think they'd enjoy watching, and perhaps watch them again and pretend like you're watching them with your f/o.

make food they canonically like, or you'd think they'd like!

make a tier list as if they were making it! like a fruit tier list, for example.

She lives in Lazytown and I'm debating whether to make her Stephanie's cousin or just another citizen, but either way the particular reason she isn't as active as she could be is she's scared of EVERYTHING. Yes, I've thrust upon her my issues with anxiety (inspired partly by the recent wave I've been experiencing over the past few days 😅) she's scared of cars, birds, germs, certain types of bugs, and it leads to her feeling safer at home.

The lessons she learns with Sportacus and the others are to teach that even though the world can be scary, you can overcome it and get out there and experience all the good in it! 🥺💖

4 – Which of the elements best represents your S/I? Which of their aspects does it resonate with? (e.g.: their personality, astrology sign, powers, etc)

OOOOOH this one is so cool, im assuming it means like..elements like fire water etc? ace is definitely more of an earth guy; hes stubborn, hes set in his ways, and he strives to be the best he can. it really relates to his powers too, hes really good at making barriers and defending himself, but when it comes to offense, he gets really scared of hurting people and doesnt like to fight back! hed much rather stand his ground or run away.

5 – Is there any symbolism within your S/I's design that usually goes unnoticed? (e.g. colors in their outfit that reflect their personalities, their favorite flower and it's meaning, etc)

i wanted to answer this again BCCC i think his favorite flowers would be forget me nots, theyre really pretty (and also my favorite irl) but i think itd be a nice symbol of how he feels forgotten in everyday life (ie at school or at home) but reigen and mob help him feel like hes got people that actually care and wont forget him :')

10 – What was the scariest moment of your S/I's life? Did it change any aspect of their being or were they just emotional for a brief period of time over it?

OH BOY. angst time! (short summary for those unfamiliar with mob psycho) so in canon there's an evil spirit that used to be a very powerful psychic that is possessing a young girl. this man's name is mogami, and tldr is he wants to hurt and kill people for reasons that happened in his life. the best psychics in the land are called to try and get him to stop possessing this girl by her dad, but none are successful. ace decides the only way to get him to stop is to send his own spirit into the girls head to psychically drive him out from the inside. while in there, he falls victim to mogami's powerful abilities; mogami traps him in an alternate dimension where he has no powers, no abilities, no friends. for six months ace is trapped in this hell, bullied and abused every day, slowly wearing him down. he has no one; he never meets reigen or mob, his parents are gone, his sister wont talk to him. he gets relentelessly bullied everyday, far more than he even does in real life. mogami's aim is to show him "how the world really works", how people are cruel and how he wants him to be hateful too. ace is able to keep his humanity and kindness even through all of this, but after six months after hes getting beat up Again, he finally snaps and fights back, killing one of his attackers. but before mogami can get ace more in his claws, (either dimple's spirit or mob's, depending on if mob is there) someone finally is able to enter the land ace has been living in and talk him back to reality, reminding him of the people who care about and love him, and hes able to overpower mogami and get out of there.

But. ace remembers those six months like they happened in reality; his time in there really changed him, and hes affected badly by it for a long time. he doesnt talk about the full extent of it for a while, but to the people around him who care, its evident hes changed by it. reigen pats him on the back a little hard once and it sends him into a panic attack, and he finally spills about all the horrible shit he went through, and reigen comforts him. he has flashbacks often, even years later. angst my beloved…

fun things you can do when you have an f/o! (part 2)

compile an amazon list or pinterest board of clothes they would wear!

if you're able, buy snacks you think they would enjoy!

name a stuffed animal after them or name a stuffed animal something you think they would name it.

make yourself a sticky note as if they made it (like a doodle, a simple 'i love you', or something silly!)

if your f/o has a particular interest, look into it! study it, if you'd like!

take quizzes as if you were them. could be something serious, or something silly you find on uquiz.

if your f/o is romantic and you would want to have children with them, pick out baby names! compile a pinterest board of baby clothes or toys you and your f/o would purchase together.

build you and your f/os dream home in a building game (like minecraft or the sims)

plan out a vacation of somewhere you'd want to go with your f/o. maybe you could make a Google slides "brochure" to convince them to go.

if your f/o has a canon perfume or cologne they wear, or alternatively, their source created one for them (primaniacs website has a long list of series they've made scents for!) put the scent notes into fragranticas "search by notes" feature to find a dupe, or make one yourself you think theyd wear!

compile a list of flowers you'd think (or know) your f/o likes, make them into a bouquet and maybe look up the meanings for each flower.

compile a list of bath and body works candles or body lotions your f/o would buy!

selfshipping is for you. its for your comfort. its not for anyone elses. its for you.

if you are getting back into selfshipping or starting to selfship, just know: it is ok to feel insecure, its ok to feel off, its ok to feel like what youre doing may be silly! but listen to what you want, listen what makes you happy and if selfshipping makes you happy, then go for it. start it again. enjoy the new things that is selfshipping if youre a newcomer.

if you had experiences that makes selfshipping difficult for you and you feel even worse, and question why you even are doing this in the first place, you are valid. its difficult to go back to something that brought so much comfort only for it to end poorly. its hard to tell yourself that doing this will make you happy, will make you feel better; its hard when perhaps selfshipping to you has bad memories but you wanna go back to it again.

selfshipping to some is a coping mechanism or perhaps it is to many, it can also just be a side hobby, it can be a fun little thing, a sweet comfort. selfshipping can be an escape to the real word and whats happening, and if it means writing the silliest goofiest things with your f/o just to make you smile, then is it really hurting anyone? no!

you have every right to enjoy something as much as everyone else. maybe some are way open about their f/os and draw, and write, and express it publicly. maybe you are different and want to express it privately, or maybe you want to try to express it more openly. whatever the case may be, this is your thing. its yours. no one will ever take it away from you.

no one will ever take something from you that makes you feel safe and comforted.
