well this morning as I woke up from a 4 or so hour night of sleep i had the brilliant idea of trying to fight Gabriel in 3-2 on Violent while listening to a youtube video, with no in-game music, relatively low in-game master sound and without having actually beaten him (on Violent) after having spent over three hours and a half exclusively trying to kick his ass a few days ago.

so. uhm. yeah. drew how it felt (while also remaining as vague as i could as to not upset anyone lol)

this was both surprisingly hard but also relatively quick? in a weird sort of way? idk girl

but lets play with it a bit: miles is a vigilante who goes undercover in the street racing world to try to get to the bottom of the string of robberies happening around his city. he's heard of hobie brown, infamous leader of the FNSM racers, who has no qualms being the main suspect in everything and anything—except, apparently, these robberies.

no one believes him, but no one can pin him and his racers at the scene of the crime(s) either. whoever's doing it may as well be invisible, slipping in to steal what they want—gear, car parts, non-perishables, medical equipment, pharmaceuticals—and driving off before the hijacked truck can even come to a complete stop. every police report and truck scanner say the same thing:

"they're quick, they're efficient, and they're showy bastards. loud music, louder cars, i don't know how i missed them, but the fuckers got me anyway."

as a vigilante, miles isn't going to have access to the police reports, but he has followed the sounds of that blaring, victorious music and gunning cars around the city enough to fall into the same camp as everyone else: this has to be the FNSM racers.

but why these trucks? what exactly are they doing with all these stolen goods? and how can he get concrete proof it's them?

miles doesn't have the racing experience. but he's got the smarts to modify cars, the guts to floor them anyway, and most importantly that same drive to push against any blockades set before him until he's coming out on the other side triumphant, just like hobie does.

and hobie likes that. he doesn't trust him—until he does, and they're forced to reckon with the reality of who they both are—but he likes that burning earnestness in miles' eye, the fact that he seems determined to find his place right next to him. step for step, mile for mile.

when hobie talks about family to miles, he really likes seeing how that fire in his eye seems to shift into something a little warmer, homier. hobie doesn't lean in when he catches miles' eyes darting down to his lips while he talks about community, and he regrets it up until miles is forced to reveal his true motive and everything changes.

(he doesn't miss his second chance though. after his car is destroyed and the cops are bearing down on them and miles has thrown him his own keys, hobie doesn't even glance at the get-away car. he pulls miles in and kisses him until the approaching sirens are louder than his own racing heart beat. then whispers an address against miles' lips before he jumps into the car and makes a speedy escape)

for Foul Legacy, who remembers so little yet loves so much, it'd be all you, you, you. somewhere warm and sunny, where the two of you can have a little house away from everything frightening, away from the Abyss and its corrupting influence. you always greet him with a smile here, raising your hand to pat him between the horns, and Childe purrs contentedly as his claws delicately intertwine with your fingers.

the Domain keeps him happy- happy and blind, blind to the fact that none of this is real, blind to the fact that this isn't the outside world. sometimes he'll stop and think- how did he get here? he only remembers waking up one day curled up next to you, but the thought quickly fades when your illusion calls to him.

THERE R i loveee.beasts and creatures of some kind. my very favs rthe sort of big dogs or cats of the world.. wolves r my favorite guys everrr.. then cows. BUT HAVE U EVER SEEN A BINTURONG!!!!!ohhh they r so magical..

^^she has a very strong prehensile tail and ankles that rotate 180° to climb things<33 and people. they like 2 climb their keepers at zoos :3 everything else is under there cos it got a little long ->

also a big fan of very snouted animals.. boars r awesome.. pigs.. ohhh the way they like. turn into feral hogs so quick in the wild...IT HAPPENS IN LIKE A FEW MONTHS !!!!!its cooluntil they r invasive(and they r😓) but pigs r so amazing....

BATS bats r so cool and i dont rly want 2 be near them but i love them sm. i have a pretty healthy fear of rabies . i see bats fly around my neighborhood in summer !! they r cool even when they arent cute but i think most of them r :-)

honestly i have a pretty normal list of animals i love cos a lot of my favorites r farm animalz OH!!!!SPEAKING OFTHAT !!!!! sheep... ohhh my favorite girl sheep.. THERE R SO MANY DIFFERENT PNES!!!!

not a herding dog but one of my favorite breeds !!airedale terriers Are working dogs tho !! especially 4 hunting !high prey drive and stuff :]

also not a specific beast but i watched island of the sea wolves recently and it was rly good !! its abt a bunch of the animals that live on vancouver island ! i will say they get into likee.. wolf pack power dynamics and its kinda silly cos that is rly not how that works😭but its interesting 2 watch and imagine what's actually going on when the wolves interact w each other :]]]
