so one of my coworkers accidentally left one of the flush valves on overnight on friday. due to this, the septic tank was full for the facility meaning we could not use water. Meaning we couldn't use the bathrooms either. So we had to take the company vehicle to drive 20 mins away to our sister facility to use their bathrooms. we wasted over an hour and a half today to go use the bathroom twice.

The septic company guy and I are buds. We've met twice--you know, when he comes out to pump out my septic tank, like you might expect--but both times we've spent like half an hour or more just standing in the sun jawing about toddler life and money woes and the shit people do to afford new septic systems (hint: it's so fucking expensive you basically gotta reverse-mortgage your house). The man is built like a mac truck, but he's just a really chill dude and we get along. I dunno. Before he left, he said that even if he wasn't the one driving the truck out next time, in two years he'd have to come back to catch up. I dunno man, we're just bros.

Septic Tank Cleaning
Understanding Septic Systems
Septic systems are essential for managing household wastewater in areas without centralized sewage systems. A typical septic system comprises a septic tank and a drain field. Wastewater from the home flows into the septic tank, where solids settle at the bottom, forming sludge, and fats, oils, and grease float to the top as scum. The remaining liquid effluent flows out into the drain field for further filtration and absorption into the soil.
Importance of Regular Septic Tank Cleaning
Regular septic tank cleaning is vital to prevent system failure, environmental contamination, and health hazards. Over time, sludge and scum accumulate in the tank, reducing its capacity and efficiency. If not cleaned periodically, the tank can overflow, leading to sewage backups in the home, unpleasant odors, and costly repairs.
The Cleaning Process
Inspection: A thorough inspection of the septic system is conducted to assess its condition and determine the cleaning requirements.
Pumping: A vacuum truck is used to pump out the accumulated sludge and scum from the tank.
Cleaning: The tank is cleaned, removing any remaining residue and ensuring all components are functioning correctly.
Disposal: The pumped waste is transported to a designated treatment facility for proper disposal and treatment.
Benefits of Septic Tank Cleaning
Prevents System Failure: Regular cleaning helps avoid costly repairs and replacements by maintaining the system's efficiency.
Protects Health: Properly maintained septic systems prevent sewage backups, reducing the risk of exposure to harmful pathogens.
Environmental Protection: Prevents untreated sewage from contaminating groundwater and local waterways.
Increases Longevity: Regular maintenance extends the lifespan of the septic system, providing long-term savings.

Septic And Drain Cleaners
Tumblr media
Often times our septic tanks randomly gets backed up with paper and sometimes funding is low to get a pump truck. So the best solution is trying to clean it ourselves with Drain Field Cleaner Tablets. These things work wonders and I personally love it. With kids who are potty training it is sometimes hard for them to remember take little bit of paper not a whole wad and then again sometimes the toilet paper that we buy are super thick causing a back up in which we have been through this multiple times but the Drain field cleaner tablets pretty much helped with it along with the scum build up orders and pretty much helps the system and all you have to do is flush it.
Drano also does the trick way better than liquid heat because it actually gets what the issue is and takes care of it. Liquid heat is a hit or miss with me because it does work on hair but it doesn’t always do the job.

Why do plumbers install septic pumps in Phoenix?
A septic tank is one of the most important installations on any property. A septic pump is used to flush out the septic tank contents from time to time to ensure that the overflowing septic tank does not become a health hazard. Plumbers use septic pumps so that the septic tank is cleaned. A septic tank is a tank that is made of concrete and a septic pump has a pipe that connects the septic tank to a truck that comes with the septic pump where the contents of the septic tank are filled and the truck goes away from the site.
Tumblr media
The necessity of a septic pump
Septic tank installations in properties are essential as all the waste that comes from the toilets goes into the septic tank. Even some of the trains and buses have septic tanks as the toilet waste has to be collected there. Every time the train or a bus completes its journey the contents of the septic tank are pumped out by the septic pump. The waste content in the septic pump truck is then taken away from the site to be processed. Professional plumbers are trained in the operation and connection of the septic tank to the septic pump.
Septic pump as an emergency plumbing
Septic tank overflow is a problem that can happen at any point of time during the day or night. Septic tank overflow is an emergency plumbing issue that has to be taken care of by the emergency plumbers. The signs of septic tanks becoming full and overflowing are that there is a stench in the area that is unbearable. Grass can grow around the septic tank if a septic tank has become full and the water and soil can get contaminated. The septic pump in Phoenix is the savior of the septic tank overflow. Emergency plumbing in Phoenix gets the problem fixed.
